Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the Wi-Fi Smart Plug's ease of use, compatibility with smart home assistants like Alexa, and its ability to be controlled remotely via app or voice commands. Many find the setup process straightforward and the scheduling features beneficial. However, some users note that the plug's size may obstruct access to adjacent outlets. The app is generally well-received, though some users wish the plug was smaller.

These smart plugs are great. You can set them up and plug something into it and then use either the Kasa app or an Echo Dot or Echo to turn things off by voice or to dim lights, etc. I only whish they would design them so that they don't cover the 2nd receptacle in the outlet.

    Affordable Alexa Compatibility

If you want to control a pluggable device via Alexa, look no further. The HS100 is what you need. It is directly integrated with Alexa and can be configured to work locally or remotely if you want to operate devices while away. The setup process could not be easier. The TP-Link Kasa application is used to control all of TP-Link's smart home devices. It walks you through the setup process. Kasa will also allow you to configure a schedule for when to turn your connected devices on/off. Additionally, there is an away mode which turns your devices on and off at different times to give the appearance that someone is home. Comparing this to Wemo, it has been more stable. I've not had any connection issues with this whereas I have had a couple with Wemo, especially when the device had been unplugged from the wall. Glitchy start up

I held off on getting a smart outlet for awhile. How hard is it for someone to get off the couch and turn on a light? Well, I'm not ashamed to say Alexa had me spoiled before, but now I'm hopeless. It is so nice to be able to control a light in the other room. Set up thru the Kasa app was a bit difficult at first. I ended up having to delete the plug on my account, then finish setting up the cloud before adding it. Once I had a full verified account, integrating the app with Alexa was a breeze. I managed to use the top outlet so the bottom was free. I also got creative and plugged an extension cord so I could control 2 table lamps with the one plug. I will be buying more for additional outlets.

These smart link plugs work great with the Echo Dot2, we love having the ability to turn on lights so that we are not entering into a totally dark room or house

Product worked well for about 4 weeks

After the product failing after a month, I was put through a 2 week interrogation of what was wrong and what I could try to correct it...I was promised a replacement if these suggestions didn't work and even give an RMA # as a 'carrot and stick' routine. I now believe that this company will never replace a faulty device no matter what they promise. Avoid this seller unless you have loads of spare time to waste after the smart plug fails.
