Having never had a smart phone before, this is a great one. to went back to get some help to do some things, The young man was courteous and didn't laugh at my questions and showed me how to do somethings.

The worst part of this phone is trying to get the service setup. Customer service is spotty. Some folks know what to do, some don't. Purchased a plan, got confirmation, but never got transfered to Tracfone. So 2 hours on the phone later we got service.

I paid $10 for the phone at CVS. For that price it can't be beat for someone who wants a basic android phone for practically nothing. Alcatel did not skimp on the processor, it sports a surprisingly powerfu quad corel 1.3 GHz processor. As a result operating apps and browsing the internet is a breeze. It has adequate 1gb RAM. The internal storage is a little low at 8GB, but a 32Gb external SD card is available. The SD cards memory is set up for extra storage for media files like pictures but can be formatted to serve as extra internal memory for more applications. If the SD card is not formated for internal memory no extra storage for more apps will be possible. It also has the latest version of android, Marshmallow 6.0 and has 4G internet connectivity. Surfing the web via WiFi or data usage is fast and easy. The downside to the phone is the camera and lack of a front facing camera. At 2 megapixels the camera is lacking by smartphone standards. Its OK for basic shots but if you use the camera a lot it might be a problem. Also I've read where pictures can only be managed by using the phone, they can't be directly transferred to a computer. Also the screen is small by smartphone standards. All and all for the price of this phone if bought from CVS it serves as a good mid level android phone.

I have had the phone for a month and it works great. I am saving a lot over using a big name carrier. I don't use much data, so buying the 60 minute Tracfone cards works great.

Good for kids or elderly. If you need speed and innovation upgrade and pay something that will serve your needs.

Been holding back getting my daughter a phone. This was a great way to get her introduced and learn responsibility with a phone.

The phone for its price is decent. No problems at all, and has held up well. The screen quality could be better, but for the price, its manageable.

Enjoying the special features such as gps, gmail, and apps. Like the wrather. Not a fan of the camera

I love the fast software for the price. It has a fast download speed. I paid more for android 5.0 with less storage space.

WAS LOOKING FOR AN IDEAL WAY FOR MY CANADIAN FRIENDS TO CONTACT ME. SOME FRIENDS SAID THEY TRIED TO CALL ME BUT THE CONNECTION WAS NOT GOOD. ALSO, THIS PHONE DOES NOT ALLOW TEXTING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE USA AND CANADA.

Not enough memory for a preteen. Returned it back to store.

Thought it was a great price. I wanted to replace my old Alcatel that died, but soon found out it was not s good deal at all. Good thing I found the LGX before I opened the box.

Phone was supposed to be a good low level phone but on activating no matter what I tried the volume was to low to here.
