    I've used these byod cards to get android and iphones working on both att (gsm) and Verizon (cdma) networks. Works great, no overages (just stops working on cellular when they run out of minutes/texts/data. Even after running out of minutes, smart phones still allow them to surf web using Wi-Fi, or use wifi to use web based talk/chat apps like Imessaging on Apple, or Skype, or other similar apps.
