I bought this as an upgrade from my flip phone for tracfone. So far I have liked it. It seems to use a lot of power from what I expect. It loses 20% by lunchtime without any use. I don't know if that is normal for a smartphone since this is my first smartphone. But it is a lot more than what my flip phone used. I like most of the features. I can't use it like most people do on a regular plan without sucking out a lot of time units/minutes, but using wi-fi makes it easier. At this point, having had it for about a month, I would recommend it.

This phone has a lot of memory space for lots of apps. Great video and decent sound. Flash camera. But the biggest seller for me was the memory and 4GLTE capabilities.

Bought this for my father over the holidays. Used one before for about 2years before giving it to my mother after buying a Samsung galaxy luna. Phone works great. Fast browsing and easy to use. Would recommmend this product to anyone.

This is a good price ($50) for a Smartphone. This one is a Tracfone which runs on Verizon Towers. The sound is good. It takes great pictures. I'm still getting used to the weight having had a small querty board phone. It has widgets and such. I'm getting the hang of it. It's great for calls and texts; mainly what I want it for. Tracfone offers good prices compared to the big 3. I would suggest Best Buy associates know more about it to answer the questions a "senior" has.

A good phone for someone that does not want to spend hundreds of dollars each month. This phone does what most people would find necessary without all the useless options of an i-phone or S7. It covers the basics without a 3 or 4 hundred dollar expense. Only downside is the ringer volumes are so low that it is difficult to hear outside or in a moderately noisy environment.

Much better than the LG Lucky tracfone. Love the camera. Phone doesn't freeze and need to be rebooted. Back cover is easier to get off. Also Tracfone is replacing the phone since it fell in the lake and was still under warranty.

Best Samsung tracfone ever...with 4G speed and easy to use. Tracfone is great for saving your hard earned cash. It does the trick...phone, text, photos, etc.

I Love my new Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G Tracfone. This is better than my last....! My old Tracfone phone still works fine....Now it's my rechargeable Calculator, when I'm on my computer...! Better WiFi so I use less Mb of Data. I can take better pictures with this camera, less notes, less writing of information down: model, serial and manufactures information etc. Call quality; both receiving and transmitting is even better....! Apps and Widgets are same or improved...! I don't listen to music on either of my Tracfones phones, so I can't say how good or bad that might be....? My texts and emails always seem to be sent and received....! No delays in my text messages...! I Love my New Samsung Phone....!

Phone works great for my limited knowledge. Sound is 100x better than my last phone, a Samsung flip phone. Have had no problem with coverage. Talk and texting are a breeze. I am able to surf the net easily.

Not to big weight makes it light enough for older people to hold to their ear made to use with hearing aids easy to use for texting or surfing the web I have nothing but good to say about it!

This phone is a great step up from the old Samsung that I had which was garbage. So far, no problems with it. The pictures are great and the features are large enough to read. Love it so far!

Nice large screen. LED Flash (which many phones don't have anymore). Thin profile. Really nice phone for the price I paid ($50 on sale). Much nicer than my older LG Optimus phone.

Phone is great, good reception, nice camera. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles as my wives' Galaxy 6, but it works for me. The only complaint I have is the customer service at Tracfone, it's horrible!! It took me 2 1/2 days to get the phone activated.

This is my first cellphone and my first experience with a smart phone.(Perhaps it's smarter than I.) The 157-page User's Guide is daunting, to say the least, and I have had to learn from knowledgeable friends and the hard way, by making lots of mistakes. Indoors the image is bright and clear, but outdoors on a sunny day the screen is invisible, no matter how you try to shade it from the sun. Even on cloudy days the screen is barely visible. This makes for rather haphazard photography. The phone has far more capability than I ever expect to use, and I'm intrigued by the technology. However, I would not recommend it to a friend because of the outdoor photography problem. (Am I just doing something wrong?)

I only use this service when I am in USA. For $99 a year, you have a full year of service - other companies asks for $50 a month. It gives me more than what I need in minutes and internet, Also has a internation calling plan (add extra $$) that is very cheap. I saves arround $400 a year If I compare with my cell phone roaming costs.

This is pretty much same as my galaxy s5 but slightly smaller and lower camera resolution...but still awesome. I'm blown away that price so cheap. S5 was a few hundred dollars and this $50 with not much difference...unless you are big camera user...but this camera still really good.

Bought this phone for my wife. I have a Tracfone (LG) and it meets my needs. You can't beat having a smartphone that only costs approximately $7 a month. This phone is really nice. It took my wife awhile to get comfortable with her iPad. This phone works very similar to her iPad (with the HOME button). I love this phone. I'm going to dump my LG and get this Samsung first chance I get.

I love my new Tracfone. I went from a size 4 in screen to a 5 in and it makes a difference. When using the key board I am only hitting one letter now instead of two. I just wish that they would make it larger for men's fingers. My brother still says that the buttons are still to small for his finger size. I would like to replace his, but the phones are still not large enough for him.

This phone surprised me, it's quick, takes good pictures, and doesn't look outdated. My son loves his phone.

I've been using Tracfone for several years, and feel that it meets my needs. I don't use a lot of minutes, and rarely need web and email while "On the go". My previous phone's trouble with MMS texts lead me to this Samsung. It wasn't cheap, but it's still a Tracfone, just now with better performance, and those other features. I'm very happy with this phone and recommend it. It was easily pared to both a Bluetooth ear piece, and my car (not at the same time), and minutes/data is easy to add. Get it while it's $49. That's a steal!.
