very poor reception - unable to make calls outside of my area - Tracfone representative said I needed to go outside to place phone calls - would never recommend this phone or Tracphone

This smartphone is great for my sons 10 year birthday present. It has all the bells and whistles without the outrageous price! He loves it!

Phone did not take long to set up. Transferred old no. Over in no time. Seems to be working well at this point in time (approx. 5 weeks).

It has everything for a 88yr Old. She doesn't need anything more than this one.

I purchased this to replace my lower end first tracfone smartfone. SO far so good.

After purchasing the phone I tried to have my remaining minutes transferred from my previous Tracphone, which had suddenly stopped working. Supposedly Tracphone could not tell how many minutes I had left. Their representative told me I would have to tell them my best guess of how many minutes I had left, then they would check with another "department" who would verify whether or not my best guess was correct. Only then could I get my minutes. Needless to say I didn't remember how many minutes I had left, and if I had, how do I know they would verify it as "correct"? It seems a very sketchy customer service. I returned the phone and switched with Consumer Cellular.

Good product to use. I will recommend to others in the area.

the only good thing about this phone is that it is cheap. That being said it's cheaply made as well the screen is almost completely unresponsive, the sound is very low quality, and most of the features you would expect on the phone are factory disabled.

Good enough phone for making calls and text. I would not recommend it for smartphone use such as internet use, mobile payment, and other things.

3 customer specialists at 2 Best Buy stores and 10 hours of time spent, could not get this phone to sync and the Tracfone company could have cared less

At one helluva price of 29.99, you get a smartphone that's pretty much up to par with the Samsung Galaxy 6 it in terms of speed and capability. Runs a new Android™ 5.1, Lollipop OS, the look and feel of the phone seems to be much improved upon it's previous models. The screen is sharp/clearer than my Moto E, or Alacatel OneTouch Sonic. Tracfone finally answered our prayers (well at least mine) in including more internal storage with 8gb, when before we used to get under 2gb. Activation was literally instant, as soon as I activated it on the phone, my old phone # transferred immediately to my new ZTE Citrine. Buy this while the price is down, so far no problems, camera is decent, selfie camera is low res, and you can also play Pokemon Go.

Nice phone and love that my music does not skip for the 1 gb ram but if you want the Marshmallow update. You will never get it especially Tracfone and ZTE between them both make up excuses to not add it. BLU on Best Buy has lower end device than this phone with Marshmallow. So I do not see the reasoning of keeping the update from this phone at all. Nougat is just around the corner and Marshmallow is already a year old. Guess, they don't like being up to date with their devices. So if you are happy with just Lollipop, then this will be your phone. If you want the latest operating system, then get a different phone. Go BLU or Acatel instead. The specs for the battery are way off. I get max two days with not doing a thing on the phone. This is with WiFi, Data, Sync and all notifications to the not enable and still get 2 day standby and turning phone off when sleeping at night. Battery sucks big time. I charge it pretty much daily. May be cheap and decent specs but this should be fore barely turning teenager device. I just don't have the budget for more pricey device but as I said before, Tracfone and ZTE do not work well together.
