I think that this movie has gotten a bad rep with these negative reviews. While I wouldn't say that this is a movie that you absolutely must see, it is not a bad movie to pass the time if you like Westerns. It lacks any real substance, the acting is ok, but nothing worth Oscars or awards, and the story line is linear and predictable. However, any movie where a father searches high and low to find his daughter and to move mountains and take on the worst elements on earth just to return her to his arms and family is always a true to art and watchable format for any movie. There just aren't a lot of modern movies that present a plot in a western theme, and while this movie does not sit up on the top of that list, that list is not that long where you cannot find a place for this movie if you enjoy westerns. If you were to compare this movie to anything that you could possibly see, and may want to see, from any genre, it is a bottom of the barrel pick to watch something that you may find more enjoyable and more in line with what you like to watch when it comes to movies. However, if you'd like westerns, and your expectations and standards are not academy award performances, directing and sets, then this is worth a watch to enjoy what it offers for the western genre.

If you're looking for a movie to entertain you this is a good selection. It's not the greatest movie in the world but it is pretty good from a pure entertainment perspective. Worth watching.

This movie is about a rancher who leaves to find his runaway daughter. He runs in to trouble at every turn of the trip. Lots of action, good photography, looks like you stepped back in time. Only negative comment is that it is am little drawn out, and slow at times. I still enjoyed it.

Thought I'd give a western a try plus who doesn't like Kris Kristofferson? It's a pretty good story and it definitely kept my interest. I would have liked t see Constance Brenneman (the wife) a bit more. She's such a good actress. If you haven't seen a western in a while, get this.

I watched this movie because I am into Western/Cowboys movies and thought this one was pretty good. It was sad, some good one liners and a great view of a fathers love for his children.

Gave this a try because I love Westerns and like the listed stars. It was a good, not great yarn about a father in pursuit of his kidnapped daughter.

This is a Great Western Film! I loved the acting and to see another country music singer act so good is real fun.

I wasn't sure what to expect, this isn't your ordinary western type of movie. It's about one families quest to bring their daughter home after repeatedly being sold as a call girl to many enterprising men. Trace Adkins doesn't have a huge part in the movie, but what he does is well done.

Well made low-budget western with solid performances and an interesting twist ending. Combines the basic elements of a revenge western with the recent thriller Taken as a father (Michael Pare) searches for his missing daughter.

This movie is how the west was back in the 1800's, very rough! Women were then just a piece of furniture and were used for men's pleasures!!! Too much for young people to view. A tough movie.

I bought this for the special guy in my life, as he is addicted to all things cowboy! It was a pretty good movie, but I could not watch it more than once! It was stereotypical Hollywood western style!
