If you're coming for the Zombies then know that this one will fall short. While there are some epic moments that will keep you on your chair the majority of this movie is spent in very narrow segments which limits (or castrates) story or even character development. To be honest, you are offered the base requirements which qualify this as a drama and the ending itself is designed to pull on your heart strings rather than engage in a true Zombie Apocalyptic Thriller. You get the middle point of both worlds and the strengths of neither but even after watching it I find it difficult to dismiss the execution of the film. This was still balanced and made for a good line of entertainment where due to it's weaknesses in presenting a solid genre through presenting definitive elements, those gaps may allow you to seek your own fills in the story line and discuss all of what wasn't immediately presented through imagination. Much like how any fictional work should prompt any person to do so. If you're in this for the gore then I must say, look elsewhere. This is far from Dead Alive, Audition or Martyrs and is within the realm of pop-horror. There are tones of K-Horror but they come off more so as generic westernization of Asian horror in general. The Vengeance Trilogy has more gore than this if you ask me. But if you can overlook it's faults, it's a good watch.

This is one of the best zombie movies to date. Great story acting and gore. Also the steelbook is a added bonus love it.

As I watched this film, I often thought "I wish World War Z had been more like this". This is the most purely entertaining zombie film in some time, but delivering something unique for an era in which kindness to others seems more essential than ever. It's a Korean film with subtitles, but you can set the film to view dubbed in English if you hate reading subtitles. I enjoyed watching it in it's original language and it takes nothing away from the enjoyment of the film. I don't usually enjoy horror films and really thought this was enjoyable from beginning to end, which saying a lot!

Lovely steelbook for a fantastically fun movie, like Snowpiercer with zombies.

Wild version on the ZOMBIE STORYLINE. It was a edge of the seat thriller.

Zombie apocalypse breaks out in Korea! Or maybe an insane outbreak of rabies in humans that causes them to act like zombies. Yes, zombies as a genre has been done to death over the decades and being able to come up with something unique and original may be beyond the pale, but that is exactly what the makers of this film have managed to achieve. What begins as a domestic family drama winds up being a balls to the wall roller-coaster of zombie mayhem on a train. Don’t be put off by subtitles, if you like zombie films this one definitely will make your day.

Awesome Korean zombie flick. Had a good time the whole way thru and would definitely say it's a must watch overall. They also case a great child actress which is just so wonderful since so many films are ruined by terrible child acting. Overall everyone fills their roles great (you understand/like the ones you're supposed to, and despise the worst there is).

Train to Busan did on a train what World War Z did on an airplane. Action from start to finish, you had the people you hated that you wanted to see get eaten by a zombie right away and then you had the one's that you loved that right when they got bitten it made you cringe and even tear...... A must watch for zombie lovers!! I definitely put this in top 5 zombie movies I ever watched which include.... Dawn of the Dead World War Z 28 Weeks Later and I Am Legend
