I was really stoked about this coming out. The graphics are flawless. The characters have the voices from the original Transformers cartoon. Very nice touch. The gameplay moves too quick and at times it's hard to appreciate the graphics. Noticed it was priced $10 cheaper at launch than most games but chalked that up to the limited marketing the game received. My 7 year old son has enjoyed playing it more than me. I gets most kicks out of transforming to hear the sound effect "eh ew eh eh eh ew" ....classic!!

I was actually thinking of removing 2 stars, but I gave back 1 because they used the original voices from the old school tv series. Maybe its a copyright issue, but they should have used the music from the original tv series to give it a classic feel. They also should have also programmed "blaster" sound affects for each respective character as their blasters were not all created equal. i.e. The blaster for Optimus Prime should not sound like the blaster for every other character. His blaster had a much stronger/deeper sound. Other than this, the game is jam-packed with combos and non stop action.

This takes me back to my childhood! Best Transformers game that I've played. The combat is fun and the cell shaded graphics are beautiful! Fans of the G1 series and toys rejoice!!

This is as close to the original G1 cartoon as it gets. Looks and sounds great. Game play is fast and smooth. Hopefully more Transformers games will follow in this style.

This game captures the feel of the generation 1 cartoon wonderfully. The graphics look amazing. A little short, but definitely worth the price of admission.

World class developer Platinum Games did an admirable job bringing Gen 1 to life with fantastic combat and visual style. Prepare for some difficult battles.

I love classic Transformers and this game captures that SO well ... I just wish there was more in the way of a campaign and story.

Bought this game for my son and he love it very much. Alot of action and fun to play.

Must have for fans of original G1 Transformers. Decent gameplay. Would be even better if you could play in co-op mode but unfortunately isn't an option

Although a little short in total hours of gameplay, I would still recommend this game to any G1 Transformers fan.

This is the BEST Transformers game I have ever played and that's including the War of Cybertron game, which is also a pretty good game.

Awesome action title from the makers of Bayonetta. Unfortunately Starscreams voice actor stinks. The rest of the game is awesome!

There's so much good to say about TFD so to sum things up: Amazing graphics and animations, deluxe presentation (designs based on the Transformers The Movie animated film which were very detailed), great combat system (a simplified "Bayonetta" fighting engine), lots of cameos and winks for true Transformers fans, super exciting action, ginormous bosses. Only gripe: levels are a bit repetitive. But just being able to play with Grimlock and him being SO FUNNY in this game is a great payoff. Recommended.

One of my favorite transformer games for PS four and I would recommend it to anyone

I love and grew up with Transformers since I was little and playing this over the top action game is amazing. I love it!

Any fan of the 80s transformers show will feel right at home great game play hack and slash like devil my cry series .
