    Definitely a Spin-off, nowhere close to NMH3

The game is very repetitive and the novelty wears off quickly. Even Travis Touchdown's personality won't be able to keep you entertained after the first hour or so. The lack of voice acting seems to be a step backwards from the previous NMH entries. Support this game if you want a third entry seems to what Suda was going for.

Listen, if you've played No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle .. you will definitely enjoy this. But just a word of warning.. keep an open mind. Cos omg, its got some hilarious jokes in there! I mean.. first off .. the Abbreviations for Travis Strikes Again? TSA? Also have you noticed how many number of times they've mentioned the word 'balls'. Wow. And that's just the beginning. Haven't finished yet. Check it out yourself. You'll enjoy it. Style: I'm not use to retro game details but this one really got me loving the pixelated colorful artwork & 8bit soundtracks. Co-op is legit. Can get chaotic but fun!! What i miss the most? The voice acting for the characters, side jobs (mini games) & taking care of Jeane (the cat)♡♡ I hope this does well cos i would love tho enjoy another Nintendo switch game with classic NMH styles in a NMH3 ahem ahem SUDA51 pretty please!! ♡

Travis Strikes Back: No More Heroes is an amazing continuation of the series. It allows you to play many genres of games similar to Nier: Automata and has great humor.

This game will be very polarizing to many who play it thinking it will be like the main series of games in the No More Heroes franchise. Feels like an indie take on the main game. Pretty simple and kind of repetitive but I liked the story beats and that good ol' Suda 51 charm.

It's a fun hack-and-slash game reeking of Suda51's signature traits. It's quite short, and very repetitive, but stage diversity keeps you hooked through start to finish. Several characters from Suda51's previous games make appearances as well. If you're a fan of his work, you're in for some fun. If you're not, this probably won't change your mind.

Fans of Travis Touchdown will get some mileage out of this adventure, taking TT across multiple video game genres. There are meta-jokes at many levels and many indie game tshirts to collect, but eventually the combat gets stale and enemies get annoyingly tough, but only at the end.

At it's core it's a top down hack n slash game which is fun but can get repetitive. The appeal is the style, humor and bizarreness suda51 brings to its games. I think it's priced appropriately for those not familiar with the creator to try and comes with a "season pass" so more content has been added since launch with more promised.

This is NOT a No More Heroes sequel. Instead if is a co-op Gauntlet style top down, retro inspired game with a collection of other mini-games. It's quite divisive, but I found it quite fun... save for the last level which was just a huge marathon. Give it a chance if you like the universe or shallow, top down hack and slash.

Its your niche Suda51 game alright. This type of thing is not for everyone. Its half and art piece and half an arcade game. With a certain type of humor that is half 90s and half mocking the 90s while on some kind of hallucinogen. The gameplay can be fun, but it can also be a bit short.

This game is a prequel to NMH3. This game is fun. There are a lot of video game jokes and it pokes fun at the industry. It’s very self aware. Gameplay is decent but repetitive. Basically if you like the No More Heroes series then pick this up on sale. It’s a diablo style game.

Every now and then, you need a break from some of the complicated games that I currently play. This is where Travis Strikes Again comes in. It's a simple and fun hack and slash game. It has a okay story, not anything that would win some awards. Overall, the game is fun.

I am hoping that this will lead to another entry in the traditional No More Heroes series. As a spin off, not a bad entry at all, wished that voice acting would have been more prevalent through out the game. Overall: the charm of this series still shines through!

So much striking. Hacking. Slashing. Striking. But once you’ve hacked and slashed everything, you’re rewarded with more irreverent Suda 51 magic. That alone makes this experience worth the price of admission—it helps that the hacking and slashing is fun, too.

Suda51 is an amazing artist who’s made an amazing series of games. This is a fun hack n slash romp that will entertain both you and friend. It is a super meta and self aware game that is akin to Deadpool. Of which the main Protagonist “Travis” mentions and ridicules. It’s sold so well that they’re now making No More Heroes 3. It does seem to set the stage story wise for it.

I knew going in that this wasn't going to be NMH3, but I knew that a game set in this universe with the characters I've come to know and love would be worth it. And it was. I really enjoy the unique characters from NMH and the world it is set in has the style of action and comedy that I can't get enough of. If you enjoyed the NMH franchise then this is an easy game to recommend.
