I had to have this uninstalled and reinstalled 2or 3 times because the criminals hacked it and kept turning off security making it useless.

why do I need this?

Who needs it nowadays anyways. Previous experience shows that it does slow things down, may be its better now, but whatever WIndows has out-of-the box works fine for me

Both times it had to do with data retrieval. I have lost hundreds of albums of music due tp their inability or unwillingness to help.
