This game has been redone completely from the original and wow. Everything is just wow. Fans of the original will see lots of old familiar places remastered in such a way that it will bring back those old memories and new players will get engrossed in the story. Its soo good.

Very similar to past Mana games. The graphics are colorful and the characters are varied, though sometimes a bit cliche. None of them are annoying, but this is distinctly a Japanese RPG. The menu is a little confusing, but it makes sense when you are used to it.

As with the switch version i bought i anticipated playing this game after ive enjoyed playing secret of mana on the ps4 as well. Great music graphicsand likability of the characters. A good buy when youre taking a break from the final fantasy 7 remake ps4 game

I'm glad we finally got this game in the west! I had been waiting a long time to play this, and this 3D remake is probably the best way honestly. I've seen the original before, and this one seems to re-create the magic of that, but with more interesting gameplay. Shame the voice acting is terrible though...

First off, you should know that this is a remake of a much older game, so this has some of the charm of the old 16 bit era. For me, this is a great thing, for others this might be a bad thing. This is much better than the Secret of Mana remake, the control, hit detection, and graphics/voice acting are much better than that. If you want to see more games like this localized and remade, I suggest supporting this, you won't regret it!

The sequel to secret of mana!!!!! It's everything I though it would be and more. Great graphics, sound, story, POWERS!!!! Highly recommend if you liked the snes original

For all old school gamers like myself who played Mana series back in the day, this is a great game. Its gameplay feels nostalgic but also fresh. I love the graphics, the story, and the gameplay which never gets repetitive somehow. A great game.

This game is amazing from combat to story. It will keep you busy playing it at least two different times to get the best endings.

For a remake, it's a little downplayed. Beat the game in 20 hours, extra 4 with after story. Was expecting something with more content. Story is linear in which there is nothing hardly to do other then follow the story. Nothing to really reward you for exploring. If you like stories, this is ok. If you like extra content that's not story required that adds a feel for the environment and culture, then look elsewhere. I wouldn't spend more then 20 on this game. Feels like an boarder Indie game. Class changes are good, but could've been adapted better and broader.

For anyone who is a fan of the Mana series, this game brings back plenty of nostalgia of past titles. It's awesome to not only have one of the Mana titles made in the Unreal Engine, but to have this game stateside. If you enjoy JRPGs, this is definitely a game to check out! My only issue with the game is the camera, because it has to be rotated manually, which is really frustrating sometimes. Otherwise, this lifelong Mana Series fan is pleased with this remake.

Trials of Mana is a great nostalgic blend of 90's video games with contemporary style. It maintains the charm of classic JRPGs while updating the gameplay to a more modern aesthetic. The character selection mechanic is interesting and requires 3 full play throughs to see everything the game has to offer. If you are a fan of JRPGs its definitely worth checking out. I'd say the only downside is that the story is very basic and nothing to write home about.

Haven’t gotten the chance to play this game yet but it was on sale so I snagged it!

Great story and great game play. Glad they finally released and redid this series.

I had never played the original, so I have no nostalgia for it. However, the work Square put into remaking the game into more modern efforts shows. It plays really well and is a lot of fun. The characters are not as deep as more modern jrpgs like the trails series, but they are enough to keep the story entertaining. I'm already 15 hours in, deciding whether to go for the platinum trophy.

Great gameplay, while it is very simple, not a lot to it, it offers a lot of variety with multiple characters, and letting you make a party of 3, you get unique dialog and situations due to that. Definitely feels a little rushed, due to the gameplay lacking a bit of polish, but for a remake, thats only 50$, is so worth the money. Definitely not a game to skip.
