My girlfriend and I originally watched this movie because of Universal Halloween Horror Nights. We always said we would purchase it because we loved the story.

I watch this on Halloween every year, you just can't not. A great movie for anyone who hasn't seen it already, perfect for the Halloween season

I already own this movie but had to repurchase due to the new cover! It looks amazing in person! Plus it came with credit to see It Chapter 2

A little disjointed as the movie plays with time a little but has a pretty good take on action vs. consequences as well as comeuppances. To quote: "There's always a bigger fish"~Qui-Gon Jinn. ;) Not a lot of CGI, which is nice as practical effects still have their place. A splash of cussing and boobs, a nod to slasher/horror films of the 80s and early 90s. An interesting take on lycanthropy and shapeshifting. Also, I believe this was just before Anna Paquin started her role as Sookie Stackhouse in "True Blood"; as such, it's nice to see a bridge between Rogue from "X-Men I, II" and "True Blood". The timeline jumps around a little bit between present, past, future, etc. but if you look closely, characters between the four main storylines can be seen in the background in some shots, giving the stories a nice touch of continuity. Honestly, I'd recommend. I'd like to have seen more backstory of "Sam" (or more stories featuring) as it was the only character that the movie didn't really flesh (pun intended) out. That said, when it does have screen time, it's eerily creepy.

If you love all Things scary and Halloween this is a must by far. I love the special effects. One of my favorite of all time. Sam!

This is one of those films I like to watch for some Halloween fun in the style of the old creepshow film series it's a good movie.

I love the slip cover on this blu ray.. BB had it on sale too. I was really happy to have added this movie to my collection.

If you're a horror fan get this movie! Fresh and original yet has classic elements of the horror genre. Highly recommended.

Love this movie, the story, the telling, great movie. A bit campy/cheesy at points but that's part of it's charm.

One of the best horror movies ever made. While it did get a much better release from Scream Factory recently, I love it enough to double, triple, even quadruple dip.
