Read several reviews on the LG stainless trim kit and had a few apprehensions before I purchased. Happy to report that it worked out really well. The materials are top quality, and while installation wasn't exactly a snap (I spent two hours on removing old micro and installing replacement) it was not something the average handy person couldn't do on their own. If you AREN'T handy, consider letting BestBuy handle the installation. Compared to the solutions I was considering from KitchenAid and others, this turned out great, and for a fraction of the cost.

Had to replace built-in microwave. Chose an LG unit based upon this available trim kit. Researched on-line comments and decided to purchase in spite of some negatives given limited alternatives. Kit installed easily and produced attractive finished product. Looks great!

Overall it mostly fit although it is a little tight on the left side for the door to open. The plastic on the corners was a bit of a disappointment but the other reviews told me to expect it. I feel it's a little pricey for what you get but I had to have it after i bought the microwave so there you go.

Its fits the lg microwave, though it took a little manhandling to get the screw holes to line up. Also, when the microwave door is fully opened it rubs the trim a little.

I purchased a new LG microwave and bought this to give the microwave the built in look. After it was all said and done the microwave looks really good. I did install this myself which was a little bit of a challenge, but I overcame the obstacles. First the directions were kind of hard to follow. Then the surround did not fit in the opening that we had, so we had to modify the cabinet space. I spoke to LG to try to resolve the issue prior to modification, but they were no help. Other than this issue the product is good quality and looks pretty awesome.

What you don't see in the pictures from LG is the plastic corners on this trim kit. I was shocked to open it up and see how cheaply this thing is made. LG conveniently hides the plastic corners in their pictures as they know it looks terrible. I will be returning this product along with the microwave and getting a microwave with a nice looking trim kit.

Overall trim kit looks great and was pretty easy to install. I just can't believe it cost more than the microwave

After reading reviews I was very skeptical on purchasing this surround. Seeing that this was the one lg recommended I purchased it anyways. The surround tops off that area of the kitchen and looks awesome. The only drawback was install. Took about 4 hours to put it on and a call to lg. We had to modify the cabinet in order for it to fit properly, but after that I am very happy with the result

The trim kit was very nice addition to our kitchen as we did not want a built in microwave. With the installation of the trim kit, I have the appearance of a built in microwave/oven combination.

The finished trim kit looks good but came with no screw or hardware--I had to make a trip to the hardware store before I could complete the installation. For the price of the trim kit it should include all hardware.

We had to wait almost a month for the trim kit to match our LG microwave, but it looks great. The instructions were a little confusing so take your time to read before acting.

Needed something to surround our LG Microwave, but this is quite a wide border of stainless steel, and has clamps on the bottom corners which don't look so great. But it works fine, and most guests probably wouldn't notice it. Not sure there are other options for LG Microwave.

Finishes off the built in look under my island counter top.

Overall I'm pleased with the finished look it gives my microwave. The instructions are easy to follow and installation was simple although you may need a second person to the lift the unit.

To give decor and stability to your Microwave. Little pricey.

Very nice but was more expensive than the microwave .

Great choice for a built in microwave built in. My husband installed it himself when our original built in died. Trim kit had to be ordered but arrived within a few days.
