I purchased this barbell for $55 while it was on sale for Black Friday. Tru Grit makes affordable gym equipment; however, it is not the same quality as Rogue or Kabuki. Despite it not being the highest of quality, I also paid 1/6th of the price for higher quality barbells. In addition, this barbell offers a black shaft which makes it more appealing and less likely to rust over bare metal bars. I would definitely recommend a friend to purchase this barbell when it is on sale or to someone looking to see if they will utilize a home gym.

I’ve had this bar for a couple of years now and I love if more than my Rogue bars! The spin is great and it has been outside in my garage and looks like new!

It’s nice, grip is great. And has taken a good beating so far with little to no damage.

The knurling on the barbell is decently aggressive without tearing up the hands and the needle bearings provide great spin during olympic style lifts. The bar was packaged well for shipping (like all products I’ve received) and has a really clean finish to it. I highly recommend buying Tru Grit Fitness products. I currently own their Trap Bar, 40lb Adjustable Kettlebell, 45lb Barbell, and 230lbs of their Bumper Plates.

Great bar for a great price. Ive had it in my garage which has no AC and with it being pretty humod here in south texas it still spins great and has no signs of rust

Best buys price is surprisingly competitive. The bar its self feels slightly thin compared to the gym but it's a great bar.

The Bar is perfect. I have no issues with the weight and using it for daily workouts

Definitely worth it especially that I got it when the price went real low! Never knew Best Buy had some gym equipment and not bad either bought a bench press set too amazing.

I bought this with the intent to start lifting at home. It is exactly as described and pictured, the quality is great but it was a bit too large for the space I have. Overall a good investment if you have the space.

Slim profile. Very strong. You can load it up and you don't see any bowing. I wish the end collars were removable or adaptable for weights that had different size holes.

You can't go wrong with this barbell. The weights I use are tru-grit as well and go up to 100 lbs but with this barbell I get up to 145 pounds which is just fine for me. The bar holds up perfectly with that amount of weight. I would say the price is high but the quality is there and compared to other competitors you can't go wrong.

Much better than similarly priced barbells. Horrible packaging and it was all torn and end of barbell were exposed and taped up with clear tapes... luckily it wasn't damaged enough to complain, but Best Buy! You can do better

Works for many different body types. My 14 year old son and 30+ significant other use this item often.
