The TRX Elite Training system is a wonderful product for someone who is traveling, doesn't have a lot of time or space for workout equipment. Your body is the weight so you can get started fairly easily. The whole thing is made out of strong yet lightweight durable straps that adjust SOOOOO easily. Going between exercised is a breeze in as little as 10 minutes. The flexibility and adaptability for this system is amazing. Just find something that can hold your weight and you can use multiple ways to secure the TRX system via a door anchor or using the extra strap to wrap around a tree or something. Setup is fast and easy. You find a door and simply put the soft padded door anchor between the top of the door and the jamb, close the door, pull on the straps to see how it will hold up, and if you feel good… get to your workout. There is an awesome little app I recommend paying for unless you have time to find a plethora of videos on YouTube for workout routines. The app has great video instruction with everything neatly organized by duration, activity, most popular, coaches, and your personal workouts you can create. It's like have your personal trainer in your pocket with the option to create personalized TRX training. Workouts are downloaded so you can play them without internet. I feels like you are working out with someone in a class. Workouts are high impact in a short amount of time, meaning you get results for the short time you put in (your mileage may vary). That is huge for those who don't want to go to the gym or busy people sneaking workouts in at work. This is small enough to fit in a book bag or a luggage so you have no excuse for not getting your workout in. Nothing but good things to say but my only gripe would be the price for the system. You get a strap that costs less than $10 mainly and an app that provides the rest of the value. Overall I recommend this to anyone who likes to get a quick workout in between gym sessions or a road warrior.

Pro: -Well made -Easily adjustable -Versatile -Includes more workout routines and videos on their site Con: -Needs the right space I’ve used other over the door exercise bands before, but this set is better made and easier to use. The set comes with a door anchor or a secure strap to wrap around bars (or tree branch) for more versatility. The straps seems to be strong and sturdy and the way it’s easily adjustable makes going from one workout to another nice and quick. To shorten, simply pull the tabs up, or tilt the clasps to extend. The lengths stays put and doesn’t move during workouts. The handles are designed so that they can cradle your heels or toes. It does take some time to adjust to doing exercises with my feet feet being suspended since I’m not used to doing them and found myself shaking or unbalanced. There’s a started workout routine included as well as more videos once you register online. I’ve only been doing the simple exercises and those already gets me tired. The set comes with four resistance bands, but they are not used in any of the workout sets. They seem to be of good quality, but I haven’t used them yet. The only minor downside is that, if you’re using this over a door, you’ll need some space on either side. My doors are near a corner so it was harder to do certain exercises. It’s also possible to damage of the door depending on the placement and how hard you pull on it. I have hollow wood doors and I can see it bending at the top. I found it best to use it on my metal front door. It’s well made, versatile, and portable. You can get a good workout from it without needing to leave the house or a lot of space. I have no excuses not to use it except for maybe the door issue.

Anyone who's looking for a good body weight exercise that you'd normally need to hit the gym could probably benefit from this system. It's the same TRX system that you'll find at your local gym but in an easy and portable package you can use anywhere in your house. Setup is pretty easy but there may be some caveats that you want to consider before pulling the trigger. The door hanging mechanism calls for you to just hang it over your door as close to the hinge as you can and then close the door. I can't speak for longevity, but all of the doors I can use this on swing IN to the direction that I'm working out (so, i'm technically putting a lot of strain on the door latch instead of the full frame). So far, this hasn't been an issue. You can see the door flex as I work out but it's held up so far. The other pseudo issue I ran into is that all of my door hinges are right up against other walls, so I don't have of extra space. These are issues that I ran into and your home will probably be a better fit. Just things to remember when buying. I've been able to make it work with probably the least compatible door configuration I can imagine. Luckily, if you want a more permanent installation, this system also comes with a suspension anchor strap that allows you to hang off of another pole or hook that'll support your weight. When I get the time, I full intend on installing an anchor into the ceiling of the room that I originally wanted to use this system in so I don't have to worry about doors or stowing it away when I'm done. Durability of the whole thing feels great. It feels like the stuff you'd find at your gym. The hooks feel heavy and strong. The handles feel great. Everything seems like they just packaged up the same straps you find at your gym so you can use them at home. Workouts are great and the flexibility a system like this can offer you is almost limitless. With the system, you can log in (you'll need to create an account) to the trx website and use the code that's included with your system for a bunch of full workouts you can use. Obviously, you aren't restricted to just these but it's really nice to have a place to just jump in and get started without having to come up with the best routine yourself. You'll probably end up modifying these routines or getting creative in the future but that's kind of the whole point and what makes TRX systems so versatile. And then, if your body weight isn't really doing the trick anymore (because you've lost all that weight from eating right and working out on your TRX system), you have all of the resistance bands that are included to add even more possibilities. Bottom line, this TRX system has everything you need to get going with a full TRX based workout routine right from your home quickly. While there are a couple of things to keep in mind when planning where in your home will support these straps, it's hard not to find any place where these straps will hang in your entire home. If you're looking for a really versatile strength training system and this one fits your budget, I definitely recommend you pick it up.

The TRX - Elite System Suspension Trainer is an awesome product that offers a larger variety of workouts that is portable and easy to use. The ELITE model gives you the more durable rubber hand grips vs the foam grips on the lower level models along with the TRX suspension anchor and TRX extender which gives you more flexibility on where to set up your system. And if you don't have a support beam to attached to, this unit also comes with a door anchor. I have used this system a few days now and find it amazing as to the different muscles you can target with using your own body weight and it takes up little space. The equalizer loop allows the adjustments to be a bit flexible with the length changes, it doesn't need to be precise, which is great for a quick change. I am finding the product really durable and I don't have any hesitation of putting my full body weight with the risk of falling flat on my face. I would give this a five star rating for the product however there were a few things I found that TRX could have done a better job. The instructions were lacking. Yes it may seem straight forward, however the use of the TRX extender and suspension anchor could have been clearly identified out of the box. The length adjustment tabs get a bit of getting use to, especially since it is not laid out in any instructions. I found tips online that makes changing the lengths a lot easier. The lack of mounting plate. Yes, this comes with different anchor options such as a door and anchor strap, however, it would have been nice to come with an anchor mounting plate. I am currently using the extender to wrap around the support beam in my basement, which works fine, however around a beam with edges could create some wear in the extender. The 1 yr subscription to the TRX app is pretty sub par. Sure it has a variety of workouts, even outside of Suspension training, but I find their videos to be a bit cheezy with voice over trainer on random video clips. For example a work out video may have multiple clips of different demonstrators with just a voice over "rah, rah, you can do it!" I rather look up the other free videos you can find on line. Aside from those minor nuances, I find the product to be durable and fits my needs. Would definitely recommend.

I just can't get over how little space this system takes up. It fits in both my hands, making it extremely easy to take anywhere. No more excuses for not having the space at home, or in a travel bag, when going somewhere. The design is simple, and very easy to use, and adjust. The easiest way for most people to use this, is to drape it over an open door, nearest to the hinge, then close and lock the door. Next you can adjust the straps to your liking of height, although they do recommend the handles dangle three inches from the ground, and the "locking loop" be six feet from the ground, for an optimal workout. It is very important to keep the door strap as close to the hinges as possible, as this is where the door frame is the strongest. otherwise, depending on your weight and strength of the door, you might break something. I'm 240lbs, and with the strap in the middle, top of the door, it looked like I was going to pull the door out of it's latch. Realistically this so easy to take anywhere, as it even comes with an additional suspension strap that can be wrapped around anything sturdy enough, including a tree, thick metal poles, pull up bars, or anything else that can support your weight. So this really is the bring anywhere workout tool. The principles here are very similar to the total gym, as this uses your body weight to be the resistances for your workouts, except this is way more compact and transportable. The best thing about it using your own body weight is, that it is pretty much always going to be the right resistance for your workouts. You can lessen or multiply the resistance in your workouts by how and where your body is positioned in accordance with the top of the TRX straps. I have a bad back, so I had to start out with minimizing my resistance, and so far it has worked great, and it really feels good to be able to workout again.Inside the box, is a poster with the basic forms and ideas on how to use the TRX correctly, but there is also a code inside the box, that can unlock a bunch of customized videos to further your knowledge on how to improve your workouts, and point out a lot of moves that you probably wouldn't have thought about. It advertises 100+ workouts, and they were serious. So far I am very impressed with the TRX system and it's videos. The only negative thing I can say, which actually doesn't have anything to do with the TRX system, is that they included 4 free resistance bands as a bonus, but I haven't seen any instructions, or workout tips for those. As those are not really part of the system, and were free, I can't really complain, and will probably look on youtube for some workout tips on those. Otherwise I am really enjoying the TRX Elite System!

So, I received my TRX Elite System about a week ago and have been using it over the last few days in an attempt to fine tune and strengthen my arms, legs, and core. Inside the package is: • TRX Suspension Trainer, which includes rubber grip handles on the main strap and padded foot handle, locking carabiner. The straps are also adjustable. • Key to Free card, which allows you to sign up and access setup instructions and for your workouts. Comes with a special code to access everything you need to get started. • Suspension Anchor to use specifically outdoors. • Xtender Strap for extra length for high anchoring. • Door Anchor for use inside. • Mesh Carry Bag which is nice but you’d have to really roll up to pack everything nicely inside it. But a great addition nonetheless for easy travel. • Elite Guide, 4 resistance bands (X-Lite, Lite, Medium, and Heavy), and a TRX wrist band. • 9 Free Customized TRX Video Workouts, great for beginners like myself. • TRX App available on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Following the setup guide, it’s really easy to setup the TRX Elite Suspension System and start working out. I’ve managed to force myself to use this system over the last few days and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have not completely mastered all of the workouts (or any for that matter) but I have started to feel somewhat of a burn in muscles I’ve not used in a long time. What I really love about this is that it beats going to the gym at least for me at the moment and allows me to workout in the comfort of my own home (or at the office, which is where I’ve worked out the most, when not busy); this is where that mesh carrying bags comes in handy, to be able to pack it up and travel from one place to the next. Also being that the weather is starting to change, workouts can continue inside throughout the winter. This has also helped with doing my physical therapy in regards to my sciatic nerve having been irritated over the last few weeks, I can exercise my legs to help with easing the pain. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great inside/outside system that helps strengthening your upper and lower body as well as your core. It comes with everything you need to get started and guides both in the packaged and online to help you.

I have used a TRX suspension trainer with my personal trainer for the past 4 years. And I promise you, I absolutely guarantee, If you use this device correctly you will get an exhausting, sweat soaking, gasping for air workout. You can absolutely get a complete full-body workout using only a TRX. If you don't have a lot of room, don't have a lot of money, or simply don't want to spend needlessly, get a TRX. But, keep this in mind. YOU MUST follow the directions. Learn to use it properly. If you just jump in assuming "I got this". You can easily hurt yourself because these suspended bodyweight exercises really are intense. The TRX incorporates core work in every exercise. You will always engage your core to maintain control and reduce sway. If you don't have a beam to attach the TRX overhead, the door anchor works great. Makes sure you lock the door or put a wedge in place if the door doesn't lock. You don't want anyone opening the door when your face is 12 inches from the floor in a suspended push up. This TRX elite comes with everything you need to make full use of the device. However, I urge you to follow these suggestions: 1. Read the instructions. Watch the videos at the TRX website and completely familiarize yourself with this device. I know I mentioned this earlier but, it bears repeating. Understanding the device will make all the difference in the world. It is well worth your time. 2. Start slowly. just a few exercises in your first sessions. Things that will look ridiculously simple in the pictures are NOT that easy. So start slowly. You will be less likely to give up if you ease into it. 3. use sneakers with rubber soles. Real gum rubber. The yellow stuff like in volleyball sneakers. Or at least a pair of sneakers with a really good grip. The sneakers that are meant for aerobics and walking WILL NOT WORK. The last thing you want is for your feet to slide out when all your weight is leaning forward. Follow those three suggestions and you'll get the most out of this device. It also comes with four elastic resistance bands of varying strengths. They can be incorporated into your exercises when you need more of a challenge. If you are heavy, don't worry. As long as the TRX is properly secured, it will easily hold well over 300lbs. The door will give before the TRX does. I know because I was quite heavy when I started out. Good luck on the fitness journey.

This thing comes in a small package but the number of exercises you can do with this is crazy! Paired with the included workout poster and the app, the workouts are really endless and you can specifically target whatever kind of workout you want... whether it’s arms, chest or back, or even to trying to get more flexible or burn fat. I love that it’s compact enough to travel with as that was my primary concern. But it’s perfect for a carryon bag and you won’t even notice it! Setup and use is very intuitive and simple, I have to say get the app! The app is awesome!

I haven’t used a suspension resistance training system before, and I’m really impressed with this one. It can be challenging for beginners, but it is worth it. After a few sessions you get the hang out it and really begin to focus on form and can feel it working. I love that you can use it indoors with just a door, great if you travel. The system is very small and easy to pack up. All of the components feel like they have a great quality, and it seems like a very sturdy system.

I`ve always been a big proponent of traditional exercise methods, but for those instances where a full weight room isn`t available, I definitely can recommend TRX. For many beginners, this may even be all that is necessary in order to start their fitness journey. The exercises available with the TRX are geared to focus on a full body workout so regardless of what muscle group you may be focusing on this will definitely be able to hit that part of the body for you. The most convenient aspect is that there are exercises available for all fitness levels so that no users are isolated from the exercises. The included bands also open the door to numerous other exercises as well along with the TRX straps. I definitely did not have any problems with the number of exercises available and the convenience of the availability to view all the different exercises was extremely convenient as I did not have to spend 15-30 minutes planning a workout as there were ones already prepared for me. The quality of all aspects of the TRX system are definitely top notch as I did not have any hesitancy performing any of the exercises due to lack of quality of the straps and I believe they can for sure hold 700lbs as advertised. Overall, I definitely recommend this product to beginners just starting their fitness journey or for those who actually value the portability of the product as it is extremely convenient to use when traveling. The quality is definitely there and the ability to train all muscle groups is exactly what anyone should be looking for in a product like this.

The TRX - Elite System Suspension Trainer set is a great all-inclusive set that makes it easy to get a good workout regardless of whether you are a pro or just starting out. I hadn’t had much experience with this sort of workout equipment before and it has been fun learning about all the different exercises that can be done with it. Because of this, I especially like how this system includes a key card which can be redeemed for more customized videos. The quality of everything from the straps to the handles is superb and I have no doubt that the system is fully capable of continuing to support me and provide me with high quality workouts for many years to come and I highly recommend it!

TRX is a pretty big name in fitness equipment. I’ve used a lot of their equipment at my gym over the last year and half. I started trying to get into shape and happened to use a lot of their equipment. Medicine balls, bands, weights, kettlebells, and suspension straps. I always liked using the suspension straps because of the different body weight workouts that you could do with them. The straps that came with the Elite System were almost identical to the ones in my gym. I’m actually really happy about that fact because the straps in my gym have been in use for 2 years by tons of people, and they don’t look any worse for wear. So my initial impression of the strap system is a positive one. In the box are the suspension straps, a door anchor, an extension strap, an extension anchor, 4 resistance bands, and access to 8 workout plans. I haven’t had an opportunity to use the extension anchor or extension strap. I don’t have any overhead anchoring in place yet, so no need for the extension strap at this point. Also, the extension anchor hasn’t seen any use yet because outdoors is a little hostile right now – winter weather. I’ve used the door anchor exclusively when using the straps. The straps themselves are very well made. The handles are rubber, and super easy to grip and wipe down. The straps are pretty easy to adjust, and there are markings along them to make it easy to keep the sides the same lengths. The straps adjust from about 2 to 4 feet long. The clevice hook has a sturdy, and high quality construction. It has no chance of slipping or unclipping on you. Using the straps with the door anchor is pretty straightforward. I followed the instructions and put the door anchor close to the hinge side of the door. A quick note about the door anchor – you should make sure you are pulling the door into the door jamb. As far as exercises go, I have used the straps as supplemental to my main lifting sessions. I’ve used the straps for push-ups, rows, curls, and chest presses. These exercises work out great when using the door anchor, and they fit into my workout plan. They work well with the height and angle. You definitely have to take into account the anchoring position for the types of exercises you want to do. Some exercises need overhead, or at least high up anchoring to properly do. I’m waiting to get my ceiling anchor to expand my use of the bands. The additional items in the kit – resistance bands and workouts are useful. I have a personal trainer and a pretty solid workout regimen already but the workouts that are included are pretty good. The one I tried out was a good upper body conditioning workout that I did on my light lifting day. It felt good to get a little bit more intense workout in than usual. The resistance bands work as you’d expect. There’s nothing groundbreaking here, but its nice that they are included. Overall, the TRX Elite system is a great addition to any home gym. Body weight workouts are so useful and cost effective to implement. With these bands you can do everything except heavy lifting exercises. Your average gym goer isn’t doing those lifts on a regular basis, and would definitely benefit from a system like this. The bands are also really well made. Like I said, they are really similar to the TRX bands in my gym that have held up to a couple years of daily use. I’m pretty excited to have these for my home workouts, and so far they have worked out great for me.

I bought this is replace my aging (other brand) suspension trainer This one is very sturdy and built to take the punishment (and give it!) over many years. Honestly, I doubt that I will even be able to wear this one out The handles are comfy, the straps are thick and durable, and there is an attachment for everything. I doubt that I will ever pack this one for a business trip, but I have the parts to use it in a hotel room should I want to, and even a travel case I know that TRX are not the cheapest option out there, but no doubt that they are the best - rightfully earned reputation
