You play a little turnip and go around the map ripping up legal documents, collecting hats, and doing missions for other vegetables. The commentary is also hilarious, however turnip boy rarely says any words. Highly recommend this game for someone looking for a fun adventure game under $60

I started and completed Turnip Boy on a lazy Sunday afternoon. There are about four dungeons and a couple of areas to explore after. It is a fun and funny little game filled with references to both other games and meme culture. Gameplay is very simple. You walk around and swing your sword or watering can to complete the tasks that Mayor Onion assigns you. You learn new skills in each dungeon to help you traverse the next area. Nothing too difficult which makes it easy to recommend this to anyone with kids. I would have loved to play this on my Genesis or SNES when i was eight. 4.5/5

Extremely fun game that will have you laughing with the comedic dialog. Definitely worth the price and would highly recommend giving this gave a shot.

It’s a short game, but fun, quirky, and makes you want to play more. I love the overall vibe and music that’s presented.

The game is a sort of Zelda clone. It's fun and has lots of funny dialogue. The combat is simple, but enjoyable. The performance on the Switch is horrible. I don't know how such a simple game can bog the Switch down like it does, but every area stutters when you move. It would be fine if it only happened once in awhile, but the stuttering is so distracting that it gets in the way of enjoying the game. I still recommend it for anyone that isn't bothered by poor performance.

I would have given this five stars but it has technical glitches. It definitely drops frames a lot and makes fighting bosses difficult.

My Switch copy came damaged, so I had to return it. However, I have played through this game on PC. It's awesome. I recommend it. Definitely play Turnip Boy.
