This headset is great for gaming online for hours. It can fit a wide range of head sizes, as it is adjustable. It will not adjust of its own free will as you wear it, so you won't have to worry about it sliding off during an intense session as many have experienced. The sound quality is very clear and even overpowered, as I need to keep the volume low to keep my ears safe. Seems sturdy and durable, as well.

I'm using this with my PS4, and my actual TV and the sound for such a cheap headset is great. Also my friends say my mic quality is very good. I wear glasses with these and the padding is still comfortable.

I've used some decent headsets in my gaming experience, but this headset is the best by far. So comfortable, easy to use sound controls. Fantastic in game sound! Kudos Turtle Beach!

The Pros:
•The inbound sound was a slight, but noticeable upgrade from my current $25 TekNmotion headset. Sounds a bit more clear.
•Fits very well on my head and over my ears. Didn't have to do much adjusting to get it just right.
The Cons:
•Outbound sound was sub par when compared to my current $25 TekNmotion headset. Sounds a little muffled.
•The inbound sound was also being broadcast through my outbound, so everyone I happened to be VOIPing (Skype, TS3, Mumble, etc) with could hear exactly what I was hearing. Music, game sounds, other users speaking... if I can hear it, so can they (when holding my push-to-talk button).
•The microphone picks up and plays any local sound through the headphone's speakers, though you probably won't notice it unless you're blowing directly into the mic or adjusting the headset. The effect is similar to having "listening" enabled except with a much shorter delay. Really defeats the purpose of a circumaural headset, which is generally to keep outside sounds out.
Additional Notes:
I spent most of last night trying to find solutions to the listed cons. While I did find many other users having the same or a similar problem there weren't any fixes that worked for me.
If you're looking for a new headset for PC and you don't want your internet friends to hate you, I'd suggest passing on this one.

Overall this is a great headset to start out with. My opinion the bass is not quite deep enough and the high pitch sound is very loud there is a minor crackle sound on the chat side of things so I returned my first set thinking it was defective but the same thing is happening with my new one so who knows what's
causing that. You can wear it with the mic boom on the right side. You just reverse your audio inputs so it doesent mess up the surround effect(make backwards) so thats a cool trick I figured out if you prefer the mic on right side as I do. I guess overall it's a great set. (again for the
price)

Great product, if not purchased by Best Buy online store pickup process. The line was huge and handled both customer service and pickups. Wait was 40 minutes AFTER Christmas! Box was smashed but item was not damaged from what we can tell.
Best Buy needs to get its act together.

First Headset Doesn't Disappoint

For almost the same price as a PS3 Bluetooth, I wish I would have bought this product first. My first ever headset has been nothing but awesome so far. It adds so much to the gaming experience and I love how I can plug it in so that no sound comes from the TV while I stay up late. I only wish the cord was longer than 12 ft. Awesome product and happy I got it. I use it to watch movies too.

I have been using mine for over a month now and they work very good for hours of COD. If you are looking for a cheaper wired headset, then this is the one you should buy!

best part about the headset, is that the sound surrounds you and blocks out everything else, and u can alter your voice. the headphones do take a toll on your ears after a while, and the mic seems like it could easily break, even tho mine hasn't, overall pretty dang good tho

Hello, everyone.
I spent a lot of time reading reviews about different headsets for PS3. Well I was comparing value and price and finally decided to go with this product.
The first pair was defective right of the box. I`m glad I live 2 blocks away from BestBuy store so it took me 10 min to exchange it. Tip: if you are not sure whether they are defective or not, try to hook them up to your PC. If no sound is coming or it`s coming only from one ear - it`s defective. And I highly recommend to buy warranty for $14 or something. The main problem of this headset - reliability!
The second pair failed in 2 weeks. The sound disappeared from the right ear!
In 8 months of use - same story.
So I got tired of that. Going to return 3rd pair back since I have a warranty. Want to pay $40 extra and exchange to Sony 7.1 headset. Best reviews so far.

ive had mine for several months and it has been amazing! for what it is priced at, definitely a great headset to buy. I hear a lot about them breaking easily (I say they don't know how to take care of their stuff). The mic isn't very great because if you have a loud home, those you play with will hear everything in the room! and also, that the wire becomes tangled very easily and eventually begins to come apart at the center and ear piece eventually exposing the wires inside. That has caused mine to finally "break". The only thing that doesn't work about them now is the mic doesn't take in my sound anymore. Overall a great headset!

So, I purchased the P11 about a year ago, worked great out of the box. The sound was loud when you wanted it to be loud, and low when it needed to be low. Not studio quality sound, but extremely good for gaming, even on the PC. It feels a bit cheap since it is made with plastic, but still solid. And the microphone was great too, again it didn't have a super good mic, but you get what you payed for. Sound was clear.
Out of the box I did have a few problems, the only functional key on the control box was the volume control, and was being controlled by the chat wheel, not the game wheel- when I spoke into the mic I could hear myself regardless if I had turned it down or left it up. The mic button worked fine though, no problems there.
A few months after purchasing, I started to experience major issues with the headset, I was using my microphone with a recording program (Adobe Audition) and it just randomly disconnected- the on screen wave bar went dead, and based on how I touched the cable, it would react on screen.. alerting me that something was wrong with the cable. I isolated the problem towards the end of it where it connected to the computer USB Port. I decided to leave it alone, but then I started having more problems with the speakers, the left speaker would start to go out randomly, and it got worse to the point that it stopped working. I'd like to note that I did consider getting it sent back to Turtle beach for repairs, but the cost and time waiting wouldn't be worth it.. What bothers me is that I didn't abuse the headset in anyway.. If I had used it for tug of war or something of that nature than I'd understand that it was my fault.. but seeing I take good care of my things, and numerous others are having similar issues- not only with the P11 but the xbox version as well... I know it's not my problem, just bad design, or cheap garbage from Turtle beach. I probably won't buy another wired headset from turtle beach again.. I'll look into their wireless series of headsets, but I doubt I'll get one.
