This is the first of this brand, we've gone thru a few others before and they really didn't last as long. So far its working great.

They have 7.1 sound artificially, which means it requires the software to go with it. Volume isn't as loud as with my other headphones. (I have to use a higher level of volume than usual)

The quality of the sound is good and the mic is acceptable. What gives this a 2 star is the build quality is very poor, dont expect a long life span as my set broke only a few months of use, i had a 2 year warranty on it and have gotten them replaced a total of 3 times in 1 year from it breaking in the same exact spot the same way everytime. The headset comes packaged extremely stiff making you feel like itll snap when you first put it on your head as the plastic is low quality. Youll be better off buying a metal pronged headset so its more flexible and doesnt snap on bend.

Not what I thought I bought. Sign on shelf said Bluetooth wireless but this box was in wrong place. I'm not a tech person, was buying it as gift for husband. Original box thrown away.

I originally bought this because it had a removable mic, and the sound quality blew me away! Also, the mic is great for voice recording it's crystal clear. I have been sold on headphones

I bought these headphones because you have the option of plugging in via 3.5mm analog (taking them on-the-go, or for consoles) or USB digital for "7.1 surround" when using them as a PC headset. Granted, it's simulated surround but sounds great especially when you get the Dolby drivers from Turtle Beach's website.

Do not buy this product unless you want to waste your money. This is made with plastic, and feels like it's going to snap when you try to put them on.

This is a very comfortable headset with a great audio and recording quality, however after just under a month of regular use, the right ear piece broke right where it slides to adjust fit. Was hoping for $80, it would last at least a year...

Beautiful gaming experience, blocked out sounds from outside of the game very well. All sounds in-game are crisp and clear. The microphone picks up the user's voice very well and is easily adjustable.

These worked great right up until the warranty expired. As other people have already stated, the area above the actual ear pieces snap and crack excessively easily just from normal wear. I tell you now I did not drop these things once and yet they still cracked. Guess its duct tape and super glue time for me then because the warranty expired just a week before this happened. I am sorry to say I will not recommend this product until they improve greatly on their durability.

These were purchased as a gaming set. They were much better than the last set I had but the adjustable plastic piece that sizes them to my head broke and the sound started to cut out on that side. They went back to the store and I bought a skullcandy set instead.
