Let me preface this by saying I now own the Turtle Beach Elite 800 headset, but that's only after my Turtle Beach 400 headset broke apart because it's not built for people with large heads. Other than the sturdiness problem, the 400 headset is an amazing product for its price. Only buy it if you have a small-to-normal sized head, though.

Well these headphones I've used almost everyday since I bought them and they finally broke on me. Please note that this happened because of age and my head is bigger than average lol. The sound was great and I will continue to buy turtle beach. My only wish is that they can make all of their headphones steel instead of plastic.

Wow. These are pretty great. Very durable, easy to use, easy to set up, and great sound for a great price! The bass boost makes gaming, especially shooters, that much more of a great experience. When playing GTA V, you can hear people's conversations behind you. It's got great surround sound. I love the fact that they're wireless and don't need to mess with cables. Especially when playing multiplayer on BF4! My wife loves the fact too that I can play my "stupid" games and she doesn't have to hear them. Win-win if you ask me!

I was torn between the Sony Gold headset and these. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. They sound great and feel great. They are fairly light but durable. The battery life is amazing. I have played 8-9 hrs in one day and been able to get that same amount of time the next day before recharging. I like it has a mic mute and separate channels for game and chat audio. The setup is a bit tricky. So if you are looking for a great pair of true wireless headset I'd pick these.

I had to return the first pair because the right ear cup was really tight to rotate, while the left was really loose. As far as my experience with these PS4 headphones, they sound really great. I am VERY picky when it comes to audio quality. I've always owned very expensive home theaters and car stereos. Before purchasing these I spent a good 2 weeks reviewing just about every pair of PS4 compatible headphones I could find on Google and YouTube. What is great about these, not only can you use them with your PS4, but your wireless devices will find them as well. I tried using them on my iPad with my iTunes library, works amazing. Love em! Don't waste your time looking around, get these, you will love them too.

I was very hesitant to spend such a large amount of money on a HEAD SET, but all wired headsets made my PS4 controller glitch (even after buying a brand new one). Bit the bullet and bought these and am NOT sad about it! Fantastic sound, and independent control of game and chat audio makes these such a breeze to use. There is so much I could say about the features. Simple to connect, easy to operate, hold a long charge, comfortable. Only drawbacks are that I'd liked to have seen more sound dampening from them when worn and maybe a little added swivel on the headphones. Nothing I can't live without. I've played 4-6 hours with no issues with these on.

I got this as an exchange from the Sony Silver Wired headset for my PS4. The reason I exchanged it was because the headband part, that's made of a very weak plastic, snapped like a twig with repeated use. The Ear Force 400 is much sturdier in its composition. The headset is easy to set up, and has all the components you need for wireless enjoyment. It has a USB adapter with an optical out cable that fits in the back of the PS4. It will walk you through the connection. Also, it has 2 volume dials on the side of the headset, one for game audio and the other for voice audio. The headphones have bass and treble settings for the game audio at the press of a button with in-headphone voice prompts. Good solid bass sound with no distortion. It has a flexible boom mic that attaches to the headset and is removable. It also can be used for your phone, or other media that uses a regular headphone jack. It charges by USB port and when fully charged, runs about 15 hours. It's a great entry-level headset for gaming. Gamer approved!

I was hesitant at first to buy a wireless headset. Didn't think the battery would last that long and it would not have a good connection like one that hard wired to the system. I was blown away by the sound quality and how long the battery lasts between charges. Battery lasts around 12-14hrs of game play. Also couldn't beat the price for these. Highly recommended.

The sound is clear, loud and easily adjustable with the game and chat volume sliders on the headset. I can hear every little detail and in what direction when it becomes crucial in shooters. Lightweight and comfortable, battery life is perfect for long gaming sessions. I haven't had issues with the microphone or the headset as a whole.

I was originally looking at other Turtle beach headsets but due to my TV (which does not have audio out or digital optical), I came to the decision of this set. For the Headset, the digital optical cable just needs to be plugged into back of playstation and then connected to the USB unit for the front. So set up is fairly simple. The ear cushions are comfortable and I have been able to wear them for multiple hours while playing my games. The mic works great and other people that I talk to said they don't get any echoing or inference and that they can hear me clearly (and its not too loud). There are only 2 negative aspects which I can think of. One is the shortness of the charging cord that Turtle Beach gives you but if you just charge it with the cord used you controllers then you can play and charge at same time. The other issue that I am not sure if it is just mine but I have to pair my headset to the USB about 50% the time I start my PS4. This is an annoyance due to having to use a needle or paperclip to start the syncing process. Also the wireless aspect is good. I have a small place though so I don't know how far it will go. Though I do know it doesn't work great through thick doors.

I bought this headset to play battlefield 4 and watching movies when mi wife is sleeping and they are better than I expected very easy setup on ps4 and with the same blue tooth reciver i can use it on my computer the battery life is great the sound is clear i love the freedom of wireless thank you turtle beach

Got this headset about a week ago so I could finally chat on my ps4 with my friends and play heist fluently without everyone wondering what they were doing, and the headsets are great. I love the wireless aspect of them, and for the price they work just fine. The mic is also really nice, and this headset can also be used to record audio to your pc etc. My only flaw with this headset is when you take them off after long periods of gaming (which I'm sure this happens with all headsets, and really depends on what you call long and how long you'll be gaming for each time) is that you have this hurting in your ears, which I guess is most likely caused from me wearing my glasses while wearing, but overall great product! Better than the stealth 500 p by far!

Bought his headset for my Shaun he absolutely loves it. Great sound quality microphone works well. Headset is comfortable and relatively easy to set up. The best part is no more wires all over my living room!

Really good sound and batt life, bit tight at first, but you get used to it. First turtle beach headset i own and i say theyre worth the price. (They were on sale when i bought them $79.99)

First of all, if you do NOT have wireless headphones for the PS4, you're (possibly) missing out. It's nice to be able to play something at an audible volume while the rest of the house is asleep. These headphones have several preset audio modes (bass, super bass, natural, treble boost, etc), but I typically stick with 'natural'. The transmitter will take up a USB port on the PS4, They sound good, and they are fairly lightweight. They are angled a little differently than I'm used to with headphones, but I believe that's part of the design. The jury is still out on whether or not I prefer the angle. Good headphones at a good price point.

I bought theses cos they were both compatible with the PS3 and ps4 and the sound was great. Love how the volume of the TV does not effect the sound of the headset.

I bought these for my girlfriend cause her Polk headset didn't have separate chat/game volume controls. She loves them. The charge lasts all day. The sound is crisp and clear. You can adjust the the headset size and turn ear parts too to fit your head perfectly. The first pair I bought didn't work. The volume controls were opposite then what they were suppose to be (chat was game / game was chat.) Returned to store no problem and the second pair was perfect. Good choice if you can't afford or are saving up for Astro ;)

The incoming sound is excellent and they're plenty comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a time. I haven't had any major problems. My only problems are that the wireless range is not too great, if I get up for any reason a thin wall will completely block the signal and the charging cord is very short, you are not able to charge while playing, however this can be fixed easily if you use a phone charger or something, and the outbound sound, according to my friends, sounds about the same as my old $20 Logitech

I originally purchased the Sony Brand wireless headphones an realized that the battery life was terrible. I then returned them and got a wired pair but the extra long cord got old quick. I then returned that set as well but this time chose this set and I've gone a week to a week and a half on 1 charge and the sound quality is amazing and the ability to sync with my cell phone to answer calls during a game (hands free) is awesome. The perfect must have extra is Geek Squad ADH/GSP Warranty and the perfect purchase has been made.

These are the best turtle beach headphones I have had! Great sound great quality, long charge, cordless! You can't go wrong
