When it worked, it was okay. But the plastic supports for the earphones are flimsy plastic and crack apart, no matter how gentle you are.

I game on both pc and xbox one, and i was looking for a new headset, one that i can use with my pc AND my xbox with no crazy setup or modifications. The first headset i picked up was the logitech g633, which as much as i liked, was certainly lacking in In mainly the overall design such as the mic boom being too short and the overall size being enormous. Not to mention they weren't wireless unless you paid $200 for the wireless g933 version. So i picked up these for a reasonable price around $100, and didn't really know what to expect. Right out of the box, they work and do exactly what i wanted them to do. Pc setup is simple and painless, and in no time i had them working. Through the software , available on turtle beaches website you are able to configure the surround settings. I usually just leave them set to stereo which works well for most games. The headset itself has built in sound profiles for bass, treble, vocal, etc which is something i like seeing as even the logitech pair didn't have this. As gor xbox one, it was easier than expected. Using the INCLUDED 3.5mm cable, it was as simple as plugging the one end in the headset, and the other in the controller (i use the 2nd gen controller with the 3.5mm port built in, the adapter should do the same though.) amazingly enough, i was able to get sound in, and voice out! So, if you like to switch between console and pc, and not be bothered by having 2 seperate headsets, pick up a set of these. For the price i paid, they certainly perform as any other mid range pair of head phones should, the ease of use and the adaptability make them my go-to headset for the time being.

This is a good quality headset, but not as solid feeling as I would like. Also, it is very awkward to mute, and it goes to sleep when you don't speak frequently, which is very annoying.

You get what you pay for. Not saying this is a bad product, this is an average pair of wireless headphones and they get the job done.

I purchased these for around $135. I would say that they're worth it, but the 7.1 audio sounds like 5.1 audio with or without driver software installed.

I paid $100 for these thinking they should be quality headphones. After 4 months they stopped charging and I contacted Turtle Beach and they're requiring me to pay to ship them back for a replacement when it's their product that malfunctioned and it was not due to misuse. The warranty policy is the worst. Although they offer a replacement, I have to pay more out of pocket to get that replacement and I don't feel that's right. I just wouldn't recommend these based on the use I got out of them.

Unit would not work properly. It was Friday night, no tech service avail. Until Monday. Their online site ran me around in circles. Then I got an email that their policy was to take 3 to 5 business days to respond. The only thing they did was to send me a link to a site that already ran me around with out fixing the problem.

    Best Headset I've Ever Bought

    Posted .

To start, I'm a 38 year old who's been gaming for 34 years and I've been through a lot of "cheap" headsets. In the last few years I've finally started investing in better quality headsets. First I bought a nice Logitech set for roughly $40. It had great sound quality, but I snapped it in half in less than a year. After that, around 2 years ago, I bought a Steel Series headset at Best Buy that I caught on a daily deal. That headset was great but was finicky to get setup. It was also hot on my ears. The volume was extremely loud, so I often used it as a desktop speak in order to avoid the ear discomfort. It snapped in half one month ago today, so it was time for something new. I bought this headset a month ago and it has been a dream. I got an Amazon price match in-store so I paid $90 + the warranty. Setting it up was easy - I just plugged it in, charged it, and started using it. The volume is awesome, the mic is the best mic I've ever owned, and the headset is extremely comfortable.
