These things pack some serious punch. They have a great range of sound and also decent noise cancellation. One of my favorite features is that the device has a voice announcement for critical events such as low battery and power on/off. Designed for PS3 and PS4, but it will work with a PC that has an optical out.

The sound in the ear pieces is quite good. Am able to hear team mates good as well. People say my mic volume seems a bit too low. For the price I would expect everything to be working well together. I had a cheaper Turtle Beach px11 which was only $39.00 that I could hear gameplay and teammates fine and everyone could hear me as well.
I like the presets that come with the head sets, being able to use added bass is nice. The head set is quite comfortable. Battery life is pretty good and doesn't take an extremely long time to charge either.

I have never been the one to spend extra money on a headset. But these were on sale and I had a few extra dollars to spend. This headset sounds amazing. It has multiple sound settings and the bass really makes whatever game you're playing seem realistic. When you have this headset on you can not hear anything other than the game. you can hear footsteps and gunfire coming from any direction, which helps when you play FPS games. One of my favorite things about headsets in general is when I am playing a game in the living room, whether it be in the morning or late at night, I can put on the headset and not disturb anyone else in the house.... or the neighbors for that matter. It was tough to fork out the extra money but I am glad I did. One more feature I would like to mention. You can sync your phone to the headset and when you get a call or text you can hear it though the earphones. Pretty nifty. If you have the extra cash, I would suggest getting these, especially if you like FPS games.

I went into best buy and tested out the headsets that they had on display for the playstation 4. The sony ones werent very loud and ones for $299.99 is just too expensive so it came down to these and 800p. After reading a couple reviews I was leaning towards this one but when i went to go check the price at a different retailor i saw these guys were only $88.00 so i was sold. The sound quality and comfort is great. the presets i haven played with too much to say anything about but the microphone is decent. its nice being able to disconnect it so you dont have a mic sticking in front of your face when your not using it.

This is a great headset for gaming. The charge lasts for a long time, much longer than my previous wireless headset (sony playstation gold).
Mic works really well, adjustable game and chat volumes.

I upgraded to these from a pair of turtle beach xp500 (converted over to ps4 from my Xbox 360). I was looking for a quality surround sound headset that was completely wireless (wireless chat as well). The first thing I noticed was a MAJOR increase in bass. After I got past the wow of the thump,. I found my old xp500s to be a bit more "spacial" in the surround sound,. They felt almost as if I were listening to my home theater instead of a headset,. The sealth500p feels more closed in. I was a little disappointed the stealth 500p is not customizable through the turtle beach software. Also noticed they block out a LOT more outside noise. That can be a pro or con depending on your situation.
Pros:. Huge bass, quality surround sound ( no problem picking out enemy location), wired aux cord to hook to phone or mp3 player for music while gaming, 100% wireless surround sound and wireless chat, great battery life
Cons: feel a bit more closed in than older models, mic monitoring not the best ( hard to hear yourself talk at times). No Bluetooth connectivity for cell phones. Not customizable through turtle beach software
Overall I give this headset a solid 4 our of 5 stars,. For the price it's hard to beat

I am not an audiophile by any means, but I do know when I am experiencing great quality. This gaming headset hits the mark!
The headset was one of the better purchasing decisions I have made when it comes to consumer electronics.
I did spend a little extra for some of the added features that the less-expensive versions did not have and I am glad I did because of the added DTS Surround Sound.
I love the wireless capabilities, volume adjust for hearing and mic separately, as well as the variable listening modes.
A couple minor drawbacks: 1) continuous blue flashing lights on both ears while operating can be annoying to others around you, and 2) would be good to know the battery life remaining prior to and during use. Quick fixes - cover lights with dark tape and just recharge the battery when not in use. To be clear, I have yet to have the battery died on me. It would just be good to know.
Perhaps there is a way to check these 2 items and I just haven't figured it out or done my homework on them. Either way, this does little to diminish my experience with the product! I highly recommend!
I just checked the current pricing at the time of this post and this headset is currently priced the same as the Turtle Beach 400 model. I would not hesitate to go with these 500's for a minute! This is a great deal and I DO NOT work for Best Buy!!

I really love everything about this headset! sound quality, comfort, and durability. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is beacause the only way to use both volumes for chat and game you would have to go to (adjust sound and devices) and set (output to headphones) to Chat Audio. After doing that you'll be able to use both volumes on headset but theres a catch the volume for game turns down just alittle. Hard for me to explain it haha. I still love the headset tho.

I recently purchased this headset for my wife's PS4 as her old P21s ended up breaking at the hinges and the ear cups. She was set on getting another pair however I urged her to go wireless as it would allow for ease of movement and convenience.
She's had them for almost 2 months now and she's extremely happy with its performance up to this point. I hope they last a bit longer than the previous set, however I understand how big companies work.
She's happy with the sound quality, comfort and convenience of being wire-free, then all is well.
She recommends them.

Bought these for my son to use with his PS4. We had a budget of $125 and these were the best ones for the money. He says they are comfortable and provide great sound; it sounds like you are really there in the game. Some other reviews note a weak area on the head phones that breaks over time. We can see how this could happen but have not had an issue yet.

The headset sounds great, although there seems to be a split second of delay.
After less than six months of light to average use, the plastic on the left side of the headset completely snapped. Customer service for Turtle Beach is horrible, so I recommend the Best Buy warranty for when the headset breaks.

The headset sounds great. Im not a pro gamer so i didn't need to get a super high end headset. Its kind of a pain that i have to use an optical cable from the back of the PS4 to the USB stick. What if i end up wanting to hook up my PS4 to my sound system. Battery life is great and it switches really easily with the Desktop that i game on. Would be nice if Mic and volume controls were separate (one on each ear piece.)

Although I love these , I have to give them one less star due to the fact that they sometimes lose their connection and have to be power cycled in order to reconnect. Even though they have this issue I would rather use them than my wired headset.
Key points:
They are comfortable
Wireless
Light weight
cons:
Sometimes need to power cycle to regain connection
Occasionally the optical sound cable gets disconnected

I bought the wireless headset as a gift for my husband on his birthday and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. He absolutely loves them!!!
I took my brother to help me decide since I knew it wouldn't be easy. These in my opinion were the best!
The ultimate deciding factor for me was the fact that my husband would still be able to use them with his PS3 and ps4!
Needless to say, his gaming experience is much more enjoyable and the sound quality is incredible.
Great purchase!!!

I bought the sony wireless headset and while the sound quality was good it was cheaply made and broke within months. This headset has better sound quality in my opinion and the battery life is outstanding. I went 4 days or about 16 hours before i needed a charge. Voice quality with the mic was very clear with no feedback. Its a turtle beach so you cant go wrong. Also this headset is definitely built with way better quality then most headsets.

Don't buy if you've got a large head

I'm a woman with an average to small sized head and this headset fits me snug. It's not uncomfortable (actually it's great for me) but I could see it becoming uncomfortable if you wore it for too long and had a larger head. I have gaming glasses that I can't wear with it because it presses them against my temples and hurts. I don't need glasses normally so it's fine but if you have to wear glasses to game then this might be a problem.
Otherwise the setup is easy, battery life is good, surround sound is good, every knob and button is in a logical place packaging is attractive - typical Turtle Beach quality.
My only other tiny gripe is no wind cover for the mic and it really picks up if you pop your P's or B's etc. I find that I have to stick the mic below my mouth which makes it a little harder for my teammates to hear OR I have to try to talk without creating much pop in my words. A little annoying but not a deal breaker. It's fine for the price but I wasn't blown away. If I had to do it again I might shell out for the higher end model.

I had the Sony silver headset for the ps4 and really loved the sound quality but unfortunately the mic quit working. As I was doing research for a new pair I decided wireless and was leaning towards the 400 but I lucked out and got these on sale and now I do everything with them. From playing games watching movies on Netflix and blu Ray. I would suggest to anyone to spend the extra money and get them they are worth it
