I gave these a try after several unsuccessful attempts with a competing brand. While I loved the sound and fit/feel of the original set I tried, I had successive issues - in one pair, the battery wouldn't charge, the mic wouldn't work in the second. After becoming increasingly frustrated, I gave Turtle Beach a try. The 500Ps worked out of the box and I've had no technical issues (to date). While the 500Ps aren't as comfortable as I'd hoped, there are articulation points (such as a swivel band where the ear piece meets the headband) that, after adjustment, allow me to forget I'm wearing them. I also like that, when desired, I can easily unplug the mic boom and remove it from the headset - this is especially useful if I'm using the headset just to watch tv at night. One thing I have noticed is that the mic adds a continual hum to the audio output. This does get mitigated/go away when you turn off the mic via the button on the headset. On a plus: the 500Ps do have several audio presets one can cycle through, depending on desired use/tonal output. All in all, a decent set of wireless headphones that give decent sound regardless of what I'm streaming: Netflix, Media Player, Games, etc.

Very good headset able to compete with the top notch ear cans at a fraction of the price. Best part: It is completely wireless for your PS4. Only knock is there is a faint humming noise from the wireless adapter that can be heard when there is no game sound from the system. Once your game starts, you can't hear anything but the proper audio.

Heaphones provide great sound and are super comfortable. Mic works very well and sound comes across clear on both sides. Having the rechargable battery is super worth it. The price is great for the product. Set up is incredibly easy and the range is exceptional.

I have owned this headset for about 5-6 months now and it still sounds perfect. I didn't really look to much into the headset I just compared all of the headsets at my local best buy and out of all of the headsets this one just seemed to have the best specs for a pretty good price. I use this headset religiously and plan on buying one for my girlfriend as well. I would definitely say give it a shot.

Probably not the best out there but for the price they can't be beat. Definitely better than plain stereo headsets. Only negative thing I have found is the voice mirroring doesn't really work unless the mic is up to your mouth. I have a large head and they don't hurt my head even when wearing for a long amount of time.

Awesome sound and super battery life. Comfortable even in long gaming sessions.

And most Best Buy stores have this and other Turtle Beach headsets on display to try out before you purchase! The headset exceeded all expectations! Overall rating: OUTSTANDING!

I purchased to use with my PlayStation 3. It's my first wireless headset. It was on sale and checked some reviews. It is comfortable for me and I like the presets and modes. If you purchase for your PlayStation 3 be advised you may have to re-pair the headset to the transmitter for the preset modes to work properly. Once I completed the re-pair, everything sounds awesome.

Bought this headset to replace my Sony Gold wireless set, and I had forgot had good quality Turtle Beach headsets are. The sound is amazing, I normally only use the headset turned up halfway and I can hear everything. The price wasn't bad either, it's exactly what I paid for my Sony set, and they are better quality. Hooking them up was pretty seamless too

These headphones are incredible! I have always had TB before but they really have put their late models to shame with these. The only complaint I could have is the plastic side pieces feel cheap. I have had no issues but I wish they could have used a stronger or more strudy material. But the sound is great, the chat is great, and the battery life is amazing!

Great headset for the price, Bestbuy went ahead and price matched these headsets with competitor prices. Good sound quality and appear to be very durable only con is that my ears tend to get warm after periods of wearing them but you can expect that with any over the ear headset.

I have always used the cheap in ear set up that comes with my playstation or with a game. I could only use them for about 30 minutes before my ear would start to hurt. These headphones are insanely comfortable. They also have great sound. If you like you can put the game sound into the headphones to not disturb others in your house and it sounds great.

I love it. You can have game sounds on and still listen to your MP3 player. Just plug it into the aux at the same time so you have your own personal playlist rather than just in game music. The sound is good and you can hear things you were missing without them. Comfortable for hours of wear. Overall: Awesome for the price, I'm very happy.

headset is comfortable for short periods of game play. Gets a little uncomfortable with extended play. Audio is fantastic. The only issue i have is that when powering on the PS4 if the wireless receiver is plugged in the audio will try to go to the headset even if it is not on.

Turtle beach is a top name in the gaming headset industry and they hit their mark here with the 500p headset great sound, good battery life and 4 different preset modes I recommend these for anyone looking for great sound without breaking the bank.

I have not had a single complaint since I purchased these. I have had them around 2 months now and of course have already put a good amount of hours on them. The sound is quite literally life like, and has two seperate adjustments for game volume and in game chat. The microphone is also detachable, which is a nifty feature.

Like the headset so far. Personally I should've gone with the noise canceling ones but this here is a good enough jump from their older headset. Feels comfortable over the ears and easy to turn volume up and down. Find it difficult to find the microphone off button. Other than that. It's a good product. Game on

Having recently moved from a single home to apartment living put a damper on how i listened to my home entertainment equipment. Gone was the thumping bass of the sub woofer and the ability to listen at whatever volume level i wanted while watching movies and playing video games. I went to the local video game store and talked with the salespeople on the different makes and models as well as features of all the wireless and Bluetooth enabled 7.1 headsets. I wanted to keep my budget between $100-$200. Both my gaming system and smart TV, easily, and wirelessly, connected the TB Stealth 500P headset . The mic pops into a 3.5mm connector and is easily removed for using headset strictly as headphones. The price was under $130.00 and BB actually dropped $30 when a local competitor had it for sale cheaper. The sounds are full and rich and having various preset audio configurations changed with a push of a button. A female voice tells you when you turn headset on and off as well as the different presets you've chosen. I"m very happy with the product.

I will have to learn how to optimize it better, I seem to be having trouble adjusting the chat and game volume settings while playing Destiny. It seems as if the settings are only adjustable by using the game settings. I have not used it much with other games to test this headset out to its fullest ability. I have heard about companion apps and wonder if there is one that can be used with this headset for optimization. Sound quality is awesome. No one has received feed back from me in game. Mic is sensitive so adjusting it the right height and distance to avoid creepy breathing noise coming from you is really easy with the bend-y-ness of it. If you wear earrings it can be kind of annoying. My ears fit well inside, but my earrings kind of get pinched in between the cuff and my neck. Again this could just be with destiny, but there is not as much rumble as I had hoped for, but then again I am practically deaf due to improper healing after surgery (not from loud gaming), so I might not be able to experience the same quality as someone else.

Honestly we went through a couple befor getting this one. All were more expensive. This one was the best for the money .Very satisfied with the product. It's durable which is important to many and the sound is great. Very easy to use and setup was a piece of cake compared to others we tried in the past.
