I had these headsets for about 6 months now the sound was Perfect and crystal clear. Turtle beach is know for cheap building for headsets they tend to snap above the earcuffs it's not worth the price please don't buy

I bought this and the headset sounds okay, but truth be told, the Playstation Gold Headset sounds just as good if not a little better. The build construction is really good on this headset, and they are very comfortable. Pros: Build quality is good Sound is okay, but not as good as the cheaper PS Gold headset Very comfortable Boom mic is very nice Con: I HATE the way this plugs into the optical outlet. I'm hooked up to a 5.1 soundbar combo that runs through HDMI ARC and these two don't play nicely together because you have to go to the sound settings and change the output from HDMI to Optical and it messes with how the sound is when not using the headset, the only way to fix it is to change the sound settings every single time. Overall I think if you don't have a surround sound hookup, the build quality and comfort make these slightly better than the PS Gold headset in those departments, but the sound is equal if not a little worse. Because of that I returned and can't see any benefit in buying these over the PS Gold headset.

The only issue that's incredibly irritating, is that when I USED the headset to listen to music on my S5 it will do an Automatic Shutdown because for some unknown reason it doesn't detect the music playing. Other than that it's great to use on my PS3 and PS4. I often use it while I'm watching TV as well. I definitely recommend using it to watch Blu-Ray movies on the PS4! ;)

The surround sound is great on these head phones. They r very comfortable. Very happy with this product.

These headphones have a great out of the box sound. My biggest issue with them is durability. The plastic used in the ear peice extenders are extremely fragile. The ag9 actually uses a metal band which is much more durable and felxible. Not so with the 500s. So be very careful with them.

Great surround sound. Comfortable to wear. I like the fact that they fold flat for easier storage.

Great sound and love the aux plug for your phone! Battery lasts a long time and charge time is short.

This headset is awesome, it sounds very good and gets loud to the point that it can scare you!!! I love the fact that it talks when you power it on/of and change presets. The only thing I don't like is the feel of the plastic does seem pretty cheap and flimsy so take care when handling them. I did purchase the geeks quad protection for that reason.

Nice headsets to use for gaming. The sound quality is great and don't have to deal wires..

The surround sound is very immersing from these headphones. Battery life is around 6-8 hours.

I haven't used many surround sound headsets before these, but I couldn't imagine any better ones for the price! They are a little tight at first but I love the fit cause I'm confident they'll never fly off if a game gets me a little worked up:) the sound is awesome and playing dragon age inquisition I heard so many sounds I never knew were even in the game...fight a dragon with these bad boys on and your sold!

The headset is comfortable enough to play for 2 hours or so and mic quality is good.

This headset had good sound quality but the construction is lacking. The sound is great. At times, I actually feel the sound is too loud and my ears ring if I play them too loud. The setup with the ps4 is easy and there are no wires at all. You don't have to tether to the controller. The charge time is great. I only have to charge them every few days. At first the headset was tight but you can bend the plastic section in the middle to fix the pressure. The only issue I had was the plastic on the arms will break. BUY the Greek squad protection!!!!! I've used it twice in three years. For the price it's the best headset you can get. I would recommend the 520 over the 500.
