My son's break everything! They just do. I thought these headphones, as many others, would be broken in a week. They have endured many road trips, slumber parties and almost daily use without a dent. The microphone is still in perfect working order. I know they do a good job of noise canceling because I have to wave my arms to get his attention. A little higher than some but worth it.

I got this to talk and play in the Halo games and it cheap and is very awesome I think its good for guys who want a good reliable headset in game you could hear footsteps and explosions and stuff. But it has too many wires and pets like cats like to chew on it

Great headset for the money the sound quality and bass is fantastic

From someone with small ears who has trouble finding headphones, these are great and comfortable. You get that awesome in-game sound you'd expect from turtle beaches, and the mic/voice chat is clear. They are wired, but the cord is really long and allows plenty of movement without being uncomfortable.

Great sound quality headset. We own two. Comfortable also which is a major plus. Our first headset hooked right up with no problem. We didn't need to use any audio cable. Very simple. Unfortunately the second set would not work right . Although both xbox units are hooked up via hdmi cable to the tv, the second headset needed to use the audio hookup. The problem at that point was that the audio cable for xbox plugs in next to thehdmi cable. The audio plug- in has a lip on it that makes it impossible to use at the same time as the hdmi so an additional $20 cable will be needed. If you purchase the headset on sale, the money saved will pay for this added expense if you need to purchase it. In the end you still have saved money vs. A more expensive headset. Have had no problems with either set and would buy again.

My 10 year old son received these for his birthday. They were very easy to set-up and use. The sound is great and very easy to adjust the volume. The only complaint I have is the extra cords attached that get tangled up!

You wont want to break these and if youre not careful you will. But they are worth the money so Im on my second pair.

This headset is really good. The sound is great and the mic works great. Too many cables and it takes like 10 minutes roughly to setup. Other then that I do recommend this. Use this on my Xbox one and I also had to buy the adapter. Which sucked because I had to pay another like $30.

I have been wanting a turtle beach headset for a long time and I'm very happy that I got the x12. I wanted something fairly cheap but still a good product and the x12 is perfect for what I need it for. The price is really good for what you are getting. The design looks really cool and matches the new, black Xbox 360 S and besides the nice, cool looking design, it functions just as well. The headset can adjust to fit your head nice and snug, and despite what i have read about people saying the headset feels like "it's going to fall off my head", that isnt the case for me or anyone that i know that has used it, it might "feel" like it will fall off but i assure you, it wont. Unless your headbanging while your playing video games. So far I have played, Battlefield 3, (the sounds are incredible) Crysis 2, Rage, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, NHL 11, and Madden 11 and 12 and they all sound amazing. So yeah, I would definetlly recommend this headset to anyone who doesn't want to spend an insane ammount of money and wants to be able to play their games and get into them without hearing all kinds of background noises and actually get better at their games.

Simple setup which requires stereo audio adapter but the sound is good enough to hear all the detail and background game noise. Headphone for xbox live games clear and simple to setup with additional audio controls on the cable to fine tune during game play.

in some ways this set is better than Beats for listening. The kids haven't torn it up yet. Don't expect to borrow these for a little late night with your laptop - most all new laptops don't have headphone ports, so you would need a wireless set.

We upgraded from an X32 after having to replace it several times when my son got tangled up in the chords and messed up the wiring and/or jacks. This wireless solution has been great, reduces the clutter around the gaming station, and the overall sound and transmission quality has been superb.
