The sound quality is great. I've been using these while playing Halo 5, and I can hear things I didn't even know where there. For example in one of the multiplayer levels, I had no idea the whales made so much noise haha. They are extremely easy to connect. Simply attach the adapter to the bottom of your controller. My only complaint is sometimes the adapter will come lose from the controller while adjusting the volume and you'll lose audio before it reconnects again.

It is a good product, it is very durable and is a good investment if you are looking for something that kids can use on daily basis.

These headphones blow away every pair I've ever owned before. The sound is so dynamic you feel like your right there in the game.

Decided to try the XO 4 Stealth headsets from Turtle Beach after 3 sets of the XBox One headsets failed on me. It also comes with the adapter for the older controllers. The sound is good and so far no problems.

This headset is excellent for gaming, and at a reasonable price. It is only wired to the controller, so don't let the "Wired" moniker turn you away from this product, you are not attached to the XBOX One at any time while playing, unless you're charging your controller. It would be 5 Star, except it sometimes does not let audio come through if you turn the XBOX on at the console, instead of on the controller. This is an easy fix, you simply disconnect the headset controller from the game controller, and reconnect. It's easy to disconnect. The bass boost is great, and has two settings. You can probably get away with the lower setting, but you won't want to when you're playing video games; the explosions are great with this headset. Another bonus to this headset is that you can use it with other audio sources, i.e. stereos, iPod/iPhone, etc. It's a regular audio jack, so it will double as your over-the-ear headphones if you want them to. You're buying a good product.

First off let me begin by stating that I have had numerous headsets from Turtle Beach, and aside from one or 2 they all fit comfortably and worked to meet my standards for the price. Turtle beach is known to make reliable and good headsets and the customer service they have provided me makes up for any of the small issues I have encountered. Now for the review. I bought this headset as a replacement for the stock one that came with the Xbox one. It fits large heads comfortably, there is no long messy wires that get in the way, nor do you need to hook anything up to your tv. The headset comes with a usb to plug into the side of your XBOX One and into the head of your controller. You need to do this because your controller will require an update. This may be an issue for people who do not have internet. After the controller is updated, simply unplug the usb from both the controller and the headset and add the volume control to the base of the controller. This is where you will control the volume for your headset, both game or chat. Maybe you don't want to use the headset for gaming, maybe you stream movies from the Xbox and want a better sound experience, or don't wish to wake up your partner or children. Excellent news, the microphone is removable. So you can store it safety when it is not in use. There is a few cons that people reading this might want to be aware of, for one this runs off the battery in your controller. This obviously leads to your controller dying quicker and that can be expensive. Also, it isn't a very light headset and long term wear can be uncomfortable. Final quirk I noticed is a little bit of audio popping, but we can add that to dying batteries. All that aside it is a solid product and one I do not regret purchasing.

I have XO One prior to the XO Four & I have to say I wish I just went with the XO Four from the start. It's comfortable & the audio is great. The bass on my XO One broke with in a few months. So far the bass on the XO Four is good.

Was skeptical of buying these headsets for the price. But after purchasing these headsets and testing them out , the price was well worth it. The sound is phenomenal and the ear cushions are very comfortable!

These headphones are good. Great sound and fairly intense bass. The price was fair for the quality received. Adjustability is nice and makes it easy for others to use. Headphones can become slightly uncomfortable but only after a very extended period. Otherwise, the pads around the ears and on top are excellent. Would recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries for your controller as this product drains the batteries much more rapidly than without the headphones. This product is overall a great purchase. Would highly recommend.

These are very comfortable, have great sound quality, and are a good value for the price. They work with the pack-in adapter, with xbox chatpads, and on the 3.5 mm jack equipped controllers. No complaints and I am a happy camper!

I don't think it's any surprise that Turtle Beach is synonymous with quality and their place in the market as it relates to gaming headsets. That said, how much do you need to spend and how does that relate to quality? I had planned on buying the XO One version, however this version was on sale and with my rewards I opted for this version instead. As poorly as this might relate to my personal self image, I have a giant head. These fit over my head just fine with adjustment room to spare. The headphones themselves fit very snug and do an excellent job of sealing out ambient noise. As far as vocal quality with the microphone, it's excellent for what it is. Gain is adjusted primarily by how far away from your mouth it is. There are settings within the Xbox to augment the capabilities of the headset. The sound quality is great, however I can only offer this as it relates to game sound, as I have not used it for music. Given the ability for the headphones to conform to the ear, they get HOT. Not through their operation, but by sealing in body heat. They do not use batteries, but are powered by the controller. I'm using this with the newest version (2016) of the Xbox S controller, and while you can plug them directly into the controller, I still used the included volume controller because it offers muting and volume control and adds virtually no bulk to the controller. I'm very happy with the quality and features for the price, and I think you will be also.

The sound is unbelievably clear and bass is right up there with some of the more expensive brands. They sit confortable on the head and mic position is flawless however the fact that when the controller disconnects I have to remove the adapter and put it back on for the headset to reconnect. That flaw is the only reason it don't get all stars from me.

I was having microphone issues with my basic Xbox One microphone. Based on cost and features (and the sales persons experience) I upgraded to this head set. BEST MOVE EVER. This headset does not have super fancy features that are useless and raise the price. These pack just what you need. Overall volume control plus separate mic volume control let you dial in the sound to your liking. Playing a game with the headset is awesome, I would say better than most surround sound systems.

You gotta love turtle beaches, wonderful quality, and it fits well for me, but one issue for me is the chat and game volume is only one button. If they were separated like the 360 models it would have gotten a 5 star from me. Overall worth the money though, especially if you wait for a sale like I did. Also they work for anything that has a headphone Jack.

I have purchased multiple headsets, searching for a perfect pair. These headphones are not only light weight, but you can wear them for hours and forget you have them on. I use these headphones EVERY day, excellent sound quality, excellent mic quality, and you can use these for Xbox 1 controllers and PC. The mic is easily detachable, so if you are using them for just headphones and don't need a mic, you don't need to worry about it getting in your way. Just pull it out. I literally have nothing bad to say about these headphones, the best I have ever used and I would recommend them to anyone who is considering using a headset for everyday use, such as gaming, and watching movies etc. I heavily recommend these headphones, they are noise canceling, and have great surround sound. The speaker cups themselves turn very well, and the headset can fit any head under the sea. Crafted by angles, and made of air. 10/10

Great for the price. Easy to control game volume and chat volumes from controller. Comfortable to wear. Awesome sound. Great to plug into your phone when you are in the middle of doing something and need your hands but need to talk also.

Overall a good product especially since it was on sale when a purchased it. I had the Xbox one stereo adapter for over a year and it worked before but somewhere along the way it stopped working with three different headphones I had. So I wanted to get a new one because I like to be able to play games without disturbing others. I had turtle beach headphones before for my xbox 360 so I decided to give them a try! The sound is wonderful and the microphone works great for chatting with others. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the headset is tight fitting on my head and becomes uncomfortable after an hour or so. Maybe a blessing in disguise though so I don't spend too much time playing games!

My son loves these headphones. He has had them for two weeks now and they have been used nonstop. The quality of the sound is amazing and you don't hear other noises. They are extremely comfortable as they cover your entire ear. The mic has been great so far as well. These headphones were cheaper on the Turle Beach website so BB matched their price.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. He is definitely a "Gamer" who needed gaming headphones and he seemed to like them. He said it's great quality the two downsides is battery usage sucks unless u have rechargeable batteries; also, the headphones can be a bit tight on one's head.

Great quality product, doesn't feel cheap like most others. The sound is great, but the bass is not perfect. Still sounds really good, but sounds better with music than explosions. Comfortable to wear, easy to use. Only downfall is that you have to turn down game volume to turn game chat volume up.
