They seem bulky and uncomfortable before you put them on but they are lighter and more comfortable than they look. They sound great and the Bluetooth pairing feature with you iPod or iPhone is nice.They are a bit pricey so you may want to wait for a sale.

The 800x overall is a great headset. It has a Bluetooth feature which allows you to connect to your phone, receive calls, and also listen to music. Easy to hook up to your Xbox one with tons of options for different listening settings. Downside is the mic. It doesn't offer a boom mic which keeps the headset sleek but has produced comments that it sounds like your talking into a tin can. Overall besides the chat feature it is a great wireless headset and really only one that offers true wireless and 7.1 surround sound

Great sound quality from this headset with many different settings. Being completely wireless is a plus and the charging dock is so much better than the standard plug-in, just set it on and BOOM it's charging (Plugging in is still an option if you want to play while charging though) The boom free microphone makes things way more streamlined but makes you sound very weird in chat. (Was told I sounded like Bane from the Dark Knight) Does require download of the Turtle Beach Hub on a laptop for any updates.

I was hesitant about buying this headset because of the cost. What really attracted me to them was the build of the headset. They are comfortable to with with the memory foam. I like that i don't have a mic in front of my mouth. Allows me not to worry about annoying other people with breathing of any kind. THe sound quality is great! The custom setting function is nice! since there are presets for compliment other games audio. I have read about a whistling sound. Yes there is but that is just for the Noise cancellation part of the build. It's to drown out noise and allow you to hear the audio better. You eventually get used it. Mainly because once the games start going you won't hear it anymore unless there's no music coming from the game/movie. It's pricey but worth it if you have the little extra cash to spend.

We have been buying Turtle Beach gaming headsets for a long time now and they have excellent sound quality. However, they have a tendency to lose their sound quality or have frequency interference after about a year of ownership, which is why we always have to exchange or buy a different pair. We tried Astros as well, but they were not as comfortable as the Turtle Beach headset.

This is a really good headset, but lacks in the microphone department. The mic is a tiny hole and I’m always asked to speak up (adjusted my mic sensitivity settings too). Has a lot of bells and whistles like variety sound modes and Phone connection via Bluetooth. Leather ear-cups are cool, but not my style, as it can get pretty hot during gaming sessions. Other than the mic and leather, they are awesome. Surround sound is amazing!

Great feel and sounds great. fully wireless and love the charge base.

It's a great headset. The noise cancelling is impressive. The only thing I didn't care for is the microphone, it would be much better if it was at least near your mouth. Not for soft speakers.

Great set of headphones. Clear and batteries last a long time. The wireless rechargeable ability is super convenient.

They have great sound quality and the built in mic is nice. I don't like that you have to have to PS4 on in order to charge them though. I think they should make a wall adapter to charge the headphones.

Headphones are the best. Great clarity. Sturdy and stay charged.

I initially purchased these and thought the sound was great but not better than the Astro A50's i decided to go with after these disappointmented greatly and here's why. The mic monitoring is horrible and non-existent even though it says they are. Tried updating the firmware but it did not fix the issue, even trying to adjust it on the app did not help. So for the price tag of $300 its not worth it especially when the superior Astro A50s are equally priced.

This is bar none, the best set of headphones I've ever had. I've always been a fan of turtle beach and have used them since 2009 when my online gaming got more serious. Noise cancellation and a plethera of options and additional functions. It's own app, preset game selections and a charging doc alongside with no external mic. What more could you ask for.

I bought these headphones, not too long ago and used them for about 2 months, I ended up returning them, because basically they are no better than a junk pair of ear buds for me. First off there is a loud hissing all the time, it hisses with or without noise cancellation; and the noise cancellation only cancels the units own background noise. Additionally, the mic is non existent and while this was a pro for me at first, it ended up being a con, as you can hear on a few videos that i recorded on youtube (here is a link to one of them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Spz-YJgonhA It's not about the headphones but the audio is an example of the recordings the mic gives). Also this unit offers TRUE WIRELESS CHAT AND AUDIO FROM XBOX ONE. This is a rare feature, I've tested many headsets, and I must say, This feature impressed me enough that while writing this, I remembered that feature and changed the 1 star to a 2 star. None the less I wouldn't waist my money on these, (obviously as I returned them) Instead I'd go with the steel series Siberia 840. The reason I say this is because I bought these specifically for the surround sound. but the thing is, just like many other headsets that say "surround sounds" they do not actually have more than 2 speakers. That is why i said I'd go with the siberia 840 as they have real surround sound. Anyways, in comparison to other virtual surround sound headset's i've used such as the logitech g930 and g933 or the Astro a40 or Astro a50, I would say that these are a far inferior product. They have a few good things, but too many negatives for me to recommend it. On the positive sides: Bluetooth available Hidden Mic True Wireless Chat on Xbox One (No wire from controller)

Great sounding headphones.very comfortable.realistic sound effects.

Very good sound. Has a good weight, not so light as to feel cheap but not so heavy as to be uncomfortable. Had to do a lot of research to find out if it was compatible with p.c. and not just ps4. It will work on pc but can take some fiddling with drivers to get all the features to work. on ps4 simply plug and play and everything works, no mess no fuss.

Comfortable, fully wireless, like not having a mic boom sticking out of the headset. Noise cancelation is great, put them on and turn noise cancelation on and it's hard to hear anything but your game. Pricey but worth it.

The convenience is unmatched, as is the surround quality, for an Xbox One headset. Switching presets with the Android phone app is a breeze. Occasionally loses chat audio but is otherwise fantastic.
