Great head set. Just remember to update the firmware first. After that it's plug and play for the most part. Only dislike is the buttons are very sensitive. Bluetooth started a couple times. People have said I sound a bit muffled. This should be expected with no boom mic.

The sound is amazing. Extremely comfortable. 6-8 hours straight of usage before having to charge.

This is without a doubt a good headset, but the sound quality isn't as good as I've seen in other Turtle Beaches. The instructions are lacking and you will find that you have to resort to forums for some answers. For example, when I attempted to use my stock headset the mic didn't work. You have to unplug the transmitters USB from the xbox in order for it to work which is slightly irritating.

Does everything it says...enhances gaming while allowing you to answer phone calls and get text messages. Great sound quality. Would recommend a pair to anyone who can afford them.

Bought this to keep my tv quiet for my wife and kids, great quality even though sometimes the sound clips out, gotta figure out why. Otherwise totally worth it.

Bought these for my boyfriend. He is really enjoying them. He likes how there are different modes. I can be right next to him talking really loud and he can't hear me. That can be either a good or bad thing. Lol.. So the noise cancellation works. I have used them for gaming, especially when I'm playing GOW. I can hear every footstep and reload, just an amazing sound. They are also comfortable.

I currently own these and the astro a50's and comparing them is night and day. these blow astro out of the water not only in sound but also with all the other added goodies. the completely wireless is nice and the Bluetooth to my phone is great. music on these from phone sounds almost as good if not as good as a high dollar set of headphones. if your a serious gamer and love music these are for you.

100% satisfied with this purchase. Not only are they great for gaming, but I also use them for listening to music on my phone. They sound great no matter what you're doing.

The turtle beach elite 800x for the xbox one are pretty good.they are a little snug on ur ears after a few hours they may start to hurt a little bit.the sound is good and there is a lot of presets for the sound.I haven't used the Mic on it get to see if the Mic is any good.the battery life is pretty good.I haven't used them for 10 hours. So I can't tell you if the for sooner an 10 hours.

My only drawback to the unit is that it is very sensitive. IF you are sitting on a seat that has a head rest, it will switch between modes, when you turn your head if any of the selection buttons even brushes against something like a cushion. For a brief period it mutes the game sound while it announces some new selection you didn't intend.

Excellent sound, excellent mic, and easy setup. I ordered a 90 degree cable for the USB connection, though the included cable works - I did this for esthetic reasons.

I've owned over my gaming years every headset basically on the market for Xbox 360 to Xbox one. This is the most expensive one to date I've ventured into purely cause I'm all about wireless. So if this was graded on sounds and wireless capability only it would be a 5 star. HOWEVER .....for the price it is the poorest made product I've ever put on my head. The only reason I still have it is I hate wires and want surround sound and Bluetooth phone pairing for phone calls while playing. I'm on my third set now and this pair needs to go back again. WHATEVER YOU DO. Make sure to buy the Best Buy black tie insurance on it so worth l saving me $300 every few months.

1. you are spending as much as an xbox one for wireless audio... all reviews set this head set up as the best of the best.... 2. the buttons are way way to sensitive... that took time for me to adapt to 3. the set up is easy. 4. initially felt like the headset was a touch too tight.. you have to find the sweet spot for how this fits on your head especially if you wear glasses 5. I like the modes. 6. for as much as the ticket price the mods for the different ear muff should have came in the box. 7. I hide this from my kids & bought the warranty thru best buy.. I've read online the battery may fail and if rather deal with bb vs turtle beaxh

I bought this head set for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! It has great sound quality with lots of different features to really customize your experience!

I tried the Astro a40tr...no contest....the Turtle beach products, especially these elite 800, are far superior! Just had to get use fact there was no boom mic.
