Let's start with the good. -The quality of this headset is the best I have seen from Turtle Beach. -I really like the different sound modes when using them with my PS4. -The Bluetooth connectivity was a bit touchy at first, but after the update they worked great. While playing I can answer phone calls without stopping my game play or removing my headset, which is a great feature. -The sound quality is vibrant and alive it also does a great job immersing you into the game when you use them with Playstation VR. Played Resident Evil with these in VR with the Noise Canceling on and HOLY SMOKES! Now the bad or maybe just not so good. -Didn't care for the buttons as they were a bit to sensitive, and it seemed like I would accidentally touch them every once in a while. -A bit overpriced as some competitors have equal or better products out there and for a lower price. Sometimes I regret buying them as I could have got a similar product for a lower price. -The range on these seem to be a bit short for my liking. I had a pair of Turtle Beach's before these. I could walk upstairs with those on while still being able to communicate with my friends online, and these cut out when I go upstairs. I will say that you should definitely update these when you get them as it makes a difference. It is very easy to do and doesn't cost anything. Now this has nothing to do with the product, but I did have some issues with Best Buy regarding this product. I ordered these online and had them shipped to my home, but when I received them it was obvious the box had been opened, and they had possibly been used. I was optimistic and hooked them up, but couldn't get them to connect to their home, and the battery wouldn't charge. I called the store, and the store associate who answered didn't know much about the product but that was no big deal. I asked if I could bring it back in and get it replaced, which she replied yes, and that I would probably have to order one to have it delivered to the store. I asked what time they closed and she informed me that they closed at 10:00PM. With that being said I live about 45 mins from that Best Buy, and I left my house at about 8:30PM, which gave me plenty of time to get there. When I get to Best Buy the door was opened and I walked in, which then I was greeted very rudely by an employee. I was told that they close at 9:00PM and that I would have to come back tomorrow. I tried to explain that I was told they close at 10:00PM, and tried to deescalate the situation, but I was being treated like I was trying to steal something. I returned the next day and wanted to say something, but I didn't want any trouble so I returned the item and got my replacement. I didn't really mind being told the wrong time it was the way I was treated when I arrived that upset me.

The headset is great in certain areas but it seems like the mic is not that good considering that it is built into the headphone itself and the battery life seems to be about 4 hours for gamers instead of the 14+ hours that turtle beach says but it does a decent job for wireless headphones

It's very good for competitive players specially since it has the superhuman hearing option

What can I say? This headset sounds like a theatre and gives you the feeling that your person is within the game.

I love my new turtles. I like that they are completely wireless and there is no mic boom.I also like the charging base / transmeter

No problems with headset setup. Great chat and lots of presets. These are completely wireless which is the best feature in my mind.

If your in the market and 300 dollars throw away money this is the headset for gamers who want top quality 7.2 surround sound!

Best headset I've ever had. Sounds great, internal mic, and bluetooth is really nice. I can listen to music on my phone while playing games, you still can hear game fx and chat also. So nice. I love them. Was comparing to Astros but these had a couple more features plus $50 cheaper and twice the warranty.

It definitely helps me hear better, but it misses some stuff. When I play Call of Duty with it, I can sometimes hear people coming and be ready for them, but other times I don't hear a thing (and I watch killcam to make sure they don't have silent steps). There are other headsets that work better because sometimes my friends say they hear me coming, but when I watch killcam I can't hear myself (other killcams I can hear myself, so I think "oh that's how he knew I was coming"). It's better than nothing, but I'd go with Astros if I were you since they are the same price. I've never used them, but for a super expensive headset, they can't be worse.

Its a great design but sound quality is a 3.5/4.0. Skull candy has their top of the line with better sound quality but unfortunately their design is flawed. This headset is nice but not ready to pay 300$ for it. In time i will see if turtle beach has any improvements

These Turtle Beach headphones are excellent. The sound is unbelievable. These enhance the gaming experience for all users.

I had the Turtle Beach stealth 500x but they broke. I went back into the store expecting a replacement but ended up with the 420's. The 420's are hot garbage. I bit the bullet and paid the difference to get the 800x. I recommend these for several reasons, if not the price. First they are completely wireless. Second, they are extremely easy to set up. Third, they are versatile. I use them with all my devices. Phone, computer, tablet, console all work great and I have a mix of android and apple products. The issues I have are few. The price. They are noise cancelling but not Base quality of course. They also have a mic monitoring feature but it can only be controlled by an android app and the volume is horribly low. Lastly battery lify. The headphones can last about ten hours but if noise cancelling is on its about 7-8 hrs which is bad when they are this versatile. Overall i recommend them. The multiple sound selections are useful whether you are gaming or listening to music. They aren'the the greatest but they are the most useful wireless Bluetooth headphones I have found.

Great sound, comfortable headset. Definitely use the mobile app to manage headset. To charge on stand wait, power off headset first wait for light to start blinking on base unit, then place headset. Light should change to red = charging. If you just place headset back on to base it sometimes will not charge.

these headphones are outstanding. They are noise canceling, perfect comfort, and just all around everything a gamer needs. I can use them late at night to play my games, without ever waking anyone up. The mic is superb and the charging doc is such a need in this updated technology world we live in.

They work great as you expect had to uninstal and reinstal once for some static but great after that

The headphones work great. It's wireless so I can just wear it wherever in the house. It helps block noise, so helps me concentrate better on my games.

The sound on them Is the best I have ever heard. Even using them Bluetooth to my phone playing music they sound great

I love this headset. My one complaint is that undergoing a cold-reset is not intuitive or easy to figure out, and I had to do that once already to restore the connection. But it's a great fit, the hidden microphone basically wizardry, and it's constant-charge base keeps you from losing juice.
