I would first like to begin this by saying overall the headset itself is 10/10 the battery, sound, microphone, comfort was a big upgrade to my wired headset in ways. However when I tried connecting this wirelessly to my Xbox it didn't seem to work and only worked with a wire. You may be thinking "Oh that's alright" but before that when you use it, you have to use a separate cable that has a far worse microphone and you lose all of the headsets features which is why a 4/5. I wish I knew this beforehand but with pc it works very well. In the end if you are getting a console headset just get a dedicated one. It sucks but in the long run its much more worth it.

Love the headset and the overall quality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the battery life meter, or lack thereof and the poor status to let you know battery life left. I was in the middle of a game and they beeped twice and died. Now the battery life is solid ~20 hours but still not a fan of lettinf you know when to charge. I have Turtlebeach as well for my Xbox One and PS4 and they both keep me up to date with the battery levels. In addition the charging cable hookup isn't as stable as I'd like in these vs the Turtlebeach. But overall the quality, comfort, sound quality, and weight are top notch apart from the charging and lack of charge level notifications.

Sounds solid and very comfortable, however, the software had been originally glitchy and required a few tweaks. Updates have helped but could still use finesse. The WNS surround mode feels artificial to me but the rest are of the features are quite useful. 4 out of 5

Solid headset & mic. Garbage software.

I love the headset. Sound is good and the mic is clear. Detachable mic is a plus. For a large, heavy headset it is remarkably comfortable when using for long periods of time, whether gaming, working or listening to music. The control studio software, however, is garbage. The software is used to update firmware and provides some basic sound enhancement features. You would think that after spending about $150 on a headset a little internet outage wouldn't prevent you from using the companion app from performing a simple task like checking battery charge level but you'd be wrong. Without an active internet connection the software will refuse to locate the headset (which still works just fine without it) and then refuse to start for you. Per Turtle Beach's customer service team, they have no known plans to let their control studio software be used offline with limited function as it is how they control firmware updates. There are much better and more user-friendly audio enhancements out there that do not require an always on connection. Not being able to do something basic like checking charge level because of an internet outage is simply unacceptable after paying a premium for a "top-of-the-line" product like this. Short sighted on the company's end and I will definitely look elsewhere when it comes time to replace this headset. Have uninstalled their control studio in favor of a free sound amplifier with a customizeable 31-channel EQ.

It's definitely more comfortable than what I had before and battery is amazing. My only complaint is it seems to go way quiet during discord calls. I have to turn volume up in order to hear anything other than the people I'm in a call with.

Good wireless headset so far. Holds a good charge over a period of time and the range on it is awesome. Doesn't have great range in metal buildings but still works well even with reduced range. The adjustable positions help it to work well with VR head sets and the removable mic boom is a big plus. The only draw back I had with it is that the charging cable that comes with it is rather on the small side so if you go with this headset I would recommend buying a longer micro USB cord to go with it, maybe in time the manufacturer can add in a longer USB cable for charging then I would feel a lot better about it. All in all though a good product and worth the buy.

In reading reviews I purchased this headset because it supposedly had comfortable ear cups, an indentation in the cups for those of us who wear eyeglasses, and a decent wireless connection. It does indeed have all of those things, and excellent battery life too. I say almost great because I find the headband to be uncomfortable and not adjustable in a consistent or stable way. I also wish the mic boom could be rotated up. It's removeable but removing it means I can't hear myself when I speak (monitor feedback), and the gooseneck doesn't really let me put the mic where I want. Good, almost great. Great for the price.

Bought these for my son who is a fan of Turtle Beach headsets. His previous ones were corded and I thought these would be a good upgrade. He loves the sound and comfort - but they broke within the first week. They broke where the top meets the adjustable ear piece. Taking the headphone off and on put stress on the joint housing - causing it to break. Now his new wireless headphones have zip ties to keep them together. These have great audio quality but aren’t reliable enough for the price - poorly designed.

I love these headphones they sound great, feel very sturdy and the battery life is amazing but unfortunately there too small for me. They squeeze my head and inside the earcuffs its not deep enough for me its uncomfortable on my ears. If you don't have a big head I would highly recommend but for me I have to return them. Also the software was a little difficult to work with but once you get it open you're fine.

This pc gaming headset has met every expectation that I had. I was looking for a headset I could use while gaming for hours at a time while being comfortable. This headset is perfect. I am a glasses wearer, I can’t see without them. I was worried that this over the ear design would press my glasses ear pieces into the side of my head, but they don’t at all. This headset has a feature that you can adjust a channel that allows for your frames to pass through. No added pressure at all. I have been building gaming PCs for years and I am an avid gamer but always thought a headset would be uncomfortable. I am very happily surprised. I am also enjoying this headset because It makes the games sound better then I could imagine. It’s phenomenal. I also like that if you are chatting with someone your voice is registered and you can hear yourself talk as well during the conversation. I also am very surprised by the distance that the signal reaches. I can hear my game while on pause while I go to the kitchen for a snack or drink with no distortion. This thing is awesome. I have had no issues, even though this adventure with this headset is new I hope with it feeling well built that it is going to last a long time. It’s not cheap in cost but I absolutely feel it was worth it. Best choice I could have selected. Please keep in mind, I bought the this for gaming pc use, I can’t speak for any other use like consoles. I hope you find something that meets your needs as well.

I love this headset. Heavier than the TB600. Overall a beefier headset. Design is good for bigger heads but they do take some breaking in. A little tight at first but they do eventually soften up. Ear cups are nice and the glasses feature helps. Sound quality is great and highly adjustable with the PC dashboard feature. Highly recommended for warzone players.

Excellent gaming headset for your pc gets very loud and can actually hear from what direction your enemies are coming from in COD has the option for bass boost which I recommend to turn on for the best experience. They are pretty comfortable but can get abit heavy if you wear them for a extended period of time though.

Good: 1) Sound incredible. 2) VERY comfortable. Bad: 1) Charging cable is way too short. 2) The Turtle Beach Control Studio you download to configure the headphones... Am able to use it fine with my logon on the PC. Unable to load it on my wife's admin account. Keep getting an "unexpected error" then it dumps you to the desktop. Even tried installing it using my wife's logon.

Some of the best sound quality of have ever heard. Strong battery, very long charge time. Microphone quality is very good. However, for the price I would hope that they would last longer than 10 months. Took them off one evening and the large plastic piece that goes over the head snapped. Very disappointing, but not surprising with Turtle Beach.

Sturdier than the Stealth 600 - Same quality audio

Albeit a tad bit uncomfortable on my larger ears despite the deeper pads this headset is very Premium in feel. The headset comes folded together, and requires a significant amount of force to open it up. It's not "flimsy" by any means, but at the same time although force is required I don't find myself fearful I'm going to break them like I was with my Stealth 600. This headset reminds me why I fell in love with Turtle Beach many many moons ago. Quality products, great audio, great microphones, cheap cost. Albeit primarily comprised of plastic this headset does NOT feel like it is. There is a very hefty weight to it that honestly feels "weightless" on your head. The clamping force is a bit much, but compared to my 600 that would slide off just from leaning my head back to take a drink it's a warm addition to have, honestly. It does press your ears against the cups, but the speaker covers are designed in a way where you can tell they tried to prevent that, so it's likely just from my cauliflower ears and I can't blame them for my history in the cage. The earcups don't sweat, cancel out a good bit of external noise unless you turn on the active mic monitoring (then you can hear EVERYTHING around you) - which is a plus for work from home parents like me- even though it doesn't pick it all up and feel GREAT with both pairs of my corrective lenses thanks to the "stem slots" that are adjustable within the padding. Replaceable earcups are a great thing to have as well, and they clean off SUPER easy compared to the Stealth 600. No annoying nooks, and crannies that you "just can't get to in order to clean out dead skin, or dust. The microphone CAN be moved, but I've come to find that it generally "doesn't move much" despite the adjustable arm. It's very limited, and tends to find its way back to a position that finds me listening to my nose, and that drives me nuts. It's bluetooth, but locked to the pairing receiver which is absolutely IGNORANT, and the range is sub-par at best. I have a 1300 sq. ft. apartment that's pretty much a perfect rectangle, and this headset can't go 15ft from the receiver in certain directions before I start getting really annoying audible oddities depending on how many walls it's trying to transmit through. I put it in a USB extender and honestly that made it WORSE. The microphone quality sounds great for wireless, and the audio input quality matches much the same minus one VERY annoying issue (for me) - I can hear all the way up to 22550khz which is admittedly higher than most people, and also higher than the specifications of most headphones/headsets. However, these are rated for 12Hz-20kHz and they stop dead at 15kHz flat. The default EQ is SUPER flat, and requires some tweaking - it's NOTHING like the "signature sound" found on the stealth 600, or 700, but once you get it dialed in it sounds AMAZING. I've counted numerous points where I thought someone was jamming their subwoofer, and realized it was ambient bass tones in a game, or music I was listening to that I just never noticed before on my Stealth 600's. The headset's earcups do pivot, and I've found the tension on this motion to be 100% "accurate" in that it doesn't take an extreme amount of force to twist them, but chewing a snack with them on won't cause them to move like it did on the 600's that had no support or resistance whatsoever. Battery life seems to be meeting expectations. I'm frequently at my computer 10+ hours a day and I've had numerous times already that I've been able to pick it up, and use it for a second session without issue. I haven't TIMED it, but I'd say it's definitely up to snub. Overall other than a few minor complaints (one of which is likely more "me than the headset") I'd say (for most people I'd recommend this headset. For others I'd say to go with the Corsair Virtuoso if you're concerned about mic Quality. If mic quality is NOT a concern for you the Steelseries Arctis 7 or Pro's or the Astro A50's are the way to go .

They are very very comfortable! Even with my 24/7 glasses, they conform to the shape of my head and feel awesome. The sound is perfect! Great low's and awesome highs! I love them. However, there is a but... I have never dropped them, smashed or abused them in any way, but they broke anyway. One day as usual i went to put them on, and the plastic that holds the head band to the earpiece, just snapped. The plastic seemed to just crumble away. For the price, shouldn't have them lasted at least a year? It's only been 10 months. Not sure if I'll be buying TB again after this. They do feel and sound amazing though.

I did a ton of research before getting this headset. Overall it has a real high quality feel to it. Yes there is plastic, all headsets have plastic, but the metal headband and plush ear cushions really set this headset apart from others. The sound is great and the USB receiver is simple to use, I just plugged it in and after turning on the headset it starting working right away. I downloaded the software to use so that I could re-map buttons and settings. Overall there are a ton of settings you can modify and they actually do change how games sound. I have not had any issues with this headset and it's the second one I have purchased. After getting my first one a few months ago I got this one to replace my friend's headset, I liked it that much.

This is a nice headset with a few small drawbacks. I hate the fact that you can’t turn off the auto shut down feature. And it’s heavy so if you tilt your head down it slips off. Sound quality is great though.
