This product is one of the reasons I appreciate Turtle Beach. Instead of having to buy a new (expensive) headset for my PS4, I was able to simply buy this adapter which conveniently made my PX21 model, that was only compatible with my PS3, and made it work on my PS4. And did so with less cords and wires than previously needed with my PS3. Also, Turtle Beach has a lifetime warranty on their products which I used before and they sent me a new headset for free when I had malfunctioning. So, this just goes to show how much they love their customers. Great product from a great company, at a fair price.

Don't throw out your perfectly good Turtle Beach's from your last generation console! This adapter allows you to keep the headphones you grew to love without selling and buying a new pair. Great adapter, super worth the price. I highly recommend

I had a pair of headphones that I used with my ps3 and did not want to have to buy a new pair for my ps4. I found this and it works just as advertised. Was easy to hook up and the headphones work great.

Simple and easy to setup. Comes with everything you need to get great quality sound from your turtle beach headset.

The adapter is an A to D converter with inputs for the Turtle Breach headset and a USB and digital optical output. The USB output plugs into the PS4 USB ports in front and the optical cable plugs into the optical port in back of the PS4. The setup is fast and simple, the PS4 recognizes the headset immediately. Although I was looking for a wireless headset this setup is great! Since I already had the Turtle Breach headset this was an Inexpensive way to go, a wireless headset would have cost me hundreds of dollars more and lack the clarity in my opinion of the Turtle Breach headset.i would recommend this setup to anyone with a Turtle Breach headset, they will not be disappointed.

Works great, but there's a catch. You need a Line In cable. $5 for the same cable you'd use in your car to hook your mp3 player or phone into your car stereo. That's the only cable I needed. Now my Turtle Beach PX3 works perfectly. Probably isn't needed for every headset, just the Analog ones.

Works well I use on my ps4/PS3 and even on my Xbox 1 makes my Atlas headset louder better crisper sound but I plug it on my back of the tv instead of gaming console that's how I'm able to use it anytime even watching tv

This allows really nice 90's computer speakers without an optical audio jack to be plugged into the PS4 with ease and works right out of the box with only one change in the settings.

I thought I had to buy a new headset for sure but this adapter saved me over $100. For such a small price it worked perfectly for me. I would prefer wireless but that's beside the point. This is a great product.

Works great. It seems to work with any headset. Iam using a Gamester Gear set wwith it. And the sound is great.

I wanted to still use old headsets from my XBox 360 and this definitely works.

Bought this for the PS4 so I can use my PS3 headset. I had rigged my own wiring to work, but rhis makes it siumd so much better. Worth the try.

The chat volume was as good as game sound. A decent kit, only downfall is during coop other players chat is not quite clear.

This product is just what I need it. I have a monitor without speaker so I needed a plug in to be able to listen to the sound and this kit allow me to do just that.

i got my 1st headset as a gift and without this i couldnt use it on next gen consoles its cheap and allows you to use the headset you love

During coop play. Volume control for other players are very low. Otherwise, purchased at good price.

Instead of buying new headset enjoy the one you have. You can use any headset with this kit

This device does the job but IMO it's just ridiculous what has to be done to get old headsets to work on a PS4. I haven't seen a dongle like this since the 90's that's so awkward. Turtle Beach and Sony could have came up with something better if you ask me. 5 starts because it works, 1 star for implementation.
