I purchased one 5 years ago and it had a lot more settings for a $40 Turtle Beach headset. This you can only control the sound and that is it. The mute is only controlled by tilting the mic up. It should have more settings like the original to make it worth the $40. But it does have amazing sound quality. If you are broke and want to cheap out this is the headset to get, just toy around with your consoles settings. 6.8/10 would recommend.

They comfortable enough but the sound quality is what's lacking. For having 40mm drivers, they don't provide much bass at all, which takes away from the overall experience of stereo gaming headsets. I found the voice chat quality to be on par however. I would recommend spending a few more bucks to get an amplified headset instead of this one.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to use these during gameplay, only for my teammates to complain non-stop about horrific echoing and that the microphone picked up every sound in my headphone, regardless of how I adjusted the volume and other audio settings. In fact the game showed my microphones making constant sound even if I was not talking and limited background noise. I had to use my old headphones (and the problem with echoing went away immediately).

Headset is great, the curb side pickup SUCKS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product is top notch, my review is strictly about the extremely poor curb side pickup service for online orders. They have numbered parking spaces and also allow you to pull up to the curb in front of the store. I don't know how the system works, but I arrived and parked on the curb directly in front of the store, where I could see all of the numbered parking spaces and obviously in front of and behind me on the curb. I sent the notification that I was there for my order and began waiting. I watched at least 4 cars that arrived AFTER me get their items brought out to them BEFORE I got this headset brought out to me. Only after I asked one of the people taking orders out to cars why I hadn't gotten my order yet did I finally get my product, almost 40 minutes after I arrived. I could have gone in and bought it off the shelf and been in and out in probably 10 minutes, but I wanted to try to do the right thing and be one less person in the store for social distancing purposes. I can not recommend the curb side service and will go into the store myself from now on.

Broken in less than 2 weeks

It is made with weak and inexpensive material. I got them for Christmas and they are broken in less than two weeks. Get something else.

Bad- do not buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible sound quality, continuously cuts out (bought a new controller thinking that was the issue, used with and without a headset adapter as well). Flipping the mic up and down is not a quick and easy way to mute/unmute. Incredibly frustrating to use, will be getting a new headset from a different brand and putting this one in the trash as soon as I do.

Poor Construction

Speakers started cracking then the whole thing just stops producing sound. After I bought a better headset, I can assure this isn't my controller having the issue.

Due to the wide variations in head sizes and shapes, it's not possible to design a one-size-fits-all headset that will fit absolutely 100% of all users.
