Most chat headsets for the Xbox one are pretty low quality, including the official MS one. They do not last very long at all. They usually break after 6 months. With regards to build quality, this Turtle Beach Recon chat headset is built pretty well. It looks like it will last a longer time and it has good features like a 90 degree plug to cut down on the chances of it breaking getting bumped while plugged in. It also has pretty good mic quality and sounds fine in use. The one downside is that it is designed for people to wear glasses. For regular people the harder rubber sides are a bit uncomfortable and need getting used to.

Worth the price, perhaps not as durable as I would like, but again, well worth the price. My son uses to communicate with friends while playing games and has not had any issues with it.

Bought a cheap headset for my son several months previous. Stopped working within a few months. Bought this one on sale. Pleased so far.

Good product. At times they will cut in and out, but for the most part they work great. Sound quality is excellent. Very good headphones

I must say these are pretty good for the price. They were a little hard to put together but once assembled they felt steady and didnt feel too tight on my head

You get what you pay for. It does the job but it's not the comfiest headset, The band that sits on your head could use a little more padding.

Bought this item for my daughter Xbox and it works really well I love this brand I own two other headsets from turtle beach great sound

not very comfortable, but it works well. i wish the foam was a bit softer, but i suppose you get what you pay for. we will see how long it lasts

If your tired of expensive headsets for gaming, this is the perfect one. Works on both Xbox and PS4.

I give this headset a 10 considering on the price of the device. I end up buying a 2nd one for my other child and both kids had no problem with it.

These originally worked well with the XBOX, but after an update they only work on the controllers with an adapter. Makes them overall more expensive that other headphones.

These were actually perfect for what I needed. Yes they are cheap, but sound seemed pretty good.

IF YOU ARE NEEDING A HEADSET TO GET YOU STARTED ON SOME MULTIPLAYER ACTION. THESE ARE A GOOD START. NOTHING FANCY. JUST SERVES ITS PURPOSE.

They work as described sound is good microphone works fine. Kids didn't like them and we sent them back. But headphones worked fine for what they are supposed to do. If they had girl colors the kids would have kept them. They needed some for school and many were out of stock. These were good but kids didn't like them. I still give them a 5 because everything works fine

Great for the price, just what I needed after the pack-in broke

Bought this set for my kiddo after his other set broke and he seemed to have trouble hearing out of the earpiece and he said it kind of hurt his head. Just going based on what he said. Ended up returning and getting him the same ones he broke and he’s good now.

It good for kids that hard on headset.they work for the purpose of what they made for but they break easily as far as a shortage in the ear piece or mic but.if it break Im not to upset because of price.that why it get 3stars

Basic Headset if you need them for emergencies until you decide on getting better ones.

When I have the volume on halfway I have to tell my girlfriend I can’t hear her, which is a good thing and means these have great loud sound.

It's not the greatest headset in the world, but I wanted something cheap but good. This function well, never had any issues and setting up is a breeze, sound when talk or receiving audio is good. I would give it 5 stars but as everyone knows they are way better headsets out there.
