Have two young kids, most of the time when I do get a chance to play my PlayStation 4, it is late at night after everyone else has gone to bed. That means, that if I did not want to bother anyone else trying to sleep, I would have to turn the volume way down. This forced me to rely on subtitles for dialog, I did not get to hear most if any of the music/sound effects. Enter the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headphones. These have allowed me to enjoy the audio of the games I am playing no matter the time or who is around. The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 headphones are very comfortable to wear and work great both over your ears but also sound great if you wear them above your ears incase you need to be able to hear someone trying to talk to you. The setup is as easy as it gets. Just plug in the USB dongle into your PlayStation, then change the systems audio output to the headphones and you are done. The battery life on these arebalso great. I use them almost daily and in a month, I have only had to charge them once. It is so nice not having to worry about charging them in between every session. Overall these are great headphones and I recommend them to anyone who plays PlayStation.

Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB PS Wireless Amplified Gaming Headset is great overall. This headset was built for gaming and I enjoy using this headset a lot. The sound quality is awesome, and the headset hits a good range of sounds. The design of the Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB PS Wireless Amplified Gaming Headset means that wearing it is very comfortable and allows you to engage in gaming and streaming activities for a long time without any discomfort. It does not feel heavy when being worn. I love the audio quality which is very clean. It is crisp and I can hear sounds as they were meant to be heard. The microphone picks up sounds greatly, and that makes chatting a breeze with this headset. The wireless connectivity is seamlessly easy and there are no lag drops. Battery life is remarkable as one full charge gets me over 20 hours of use. This headset is a must have for all gamers. I would recommend the Turtle Beach - Stealth 600 Gen 2 USB PS Wireless Amplified Gaming headset to all gamers.

Turtle Beach has been making great gaming headsets for a very long time now. They have a wide variety of products at a wide range of price points. The Stealth 600 Gen 2 falls in the middle to lower range of those price points (especially when on sale). They have a few different versions of this headset, each designed for specific consoles. I chose this set to use with my PS5 (it is also compatible with PC and Switch, though I haven't used it for either). The headset itself is okay, though the design and plastic feel a little cheap. In the box are the headset, charging cable and 'dongle' for wireless connecting. The headset had about a half-charge out of the box, though this can vary wildly from one headset to another. Always a good idea to go ahead and charge anything to a full charge before using. There is also a firmware update and install required upon first use--it's easy, but annoying that this needs to be done straight out of the box. It's a reasonably comfortable headset, with an adjustable band, though, like most headsets, my head is just a little big for them--they fit, but it was tight for me. The controls are located on the left cup, and are very easy to use. I'm not a fan of the 'tap to adjust' system that so many headphones are using these days, so having physical dials and buttons are a big plus for me. There's a volume dial for both the main volume and the mic, a 'mode' button for the preset equalizer and the 'superhuman hearing' mode (more on that later). I had no trouble at all connecting to the dongle once it was charged and I was ready to play. Turtle Beach claims a range of 30 feet and game time of up to 15 hours before needing a recharge. I was only close to the maximum range once (when I went to grab a drink from the fridge) and still heard the music perfectly well. I've used the headphones for two weeks now and haven't needed to recharge, with a little game play (30 minutes) on some nights, and one extended weekend session of a couple of hours, so honestly they may be a little low in their estimation. Now to the important stuff--the sound quality was excellent! Turtle Beach mentions the size of the speaker (50mm!) and all the extras they included for better, higher-quality sound, and I'm happy to report they aren't wrong! The sound was big, loud when it needed to be, and crystal clear. There are a few 'preset' modes for EQ that made a difference when listening to music, and the simulated surround is some of the best I've heard through headphones. At this price point it's really about as well as you can do for sound quality. My favorite sound mode to use in shooters is the "superhuman hearing" mode. At first I was skeptical. I mean, how much of a difference could that make? Turns out it's HUGE. Playing Overwatch with this mode on I could hear EVERYTHING--footsteps, doors, gunfire, etc--and it was all directionally accurate! Turtle Beach advertises that these will help you live longer in games, and that certainly seems true thanks to the lag-free, crystal clear audio cues. I play a lot of team shooters, and I'm still kind of stunned that 1) they were able to do this as accurately as they have, and 2) it's not in every headset out there! It's certainly not required to play, and isn't necessary for every game out there, but for shooters this mode is a must have for me now! The mic is...okay. The 'flip to mute' setting is innovative and much easier than trying to fumble for a button to mute. My biggest issue is the fixed position, which felt a little far from my mouth and, indeed, teammates couldn't always hear me very clearly. I suppose there's no real way to do the flip-mute option with an adjustable mic, but I far prefer adjustable over fixed. With a larger head like mine the mic can seem very far away. Another drawback is the dongle as opposed to Bluetooth connectivity, but I assume that's another cost-effective measure. Just know that in order to use these headphones you will be down a port (and the PS5 doesn't have a lot of those, unfortunately, though using a standard USB-expander can solve that for a little extra money on the front ports of a PS5). Overall these are worth what you're paying for them, just keep in mind the limitations and plan around them. If you want excellent sound quality for gaming and media at a low price compared to most, you won't do much better than these at this price point, especially if you play a lot of shooters. Unfortunately if you play a lot of team shooters the mic may not be the best option. If you have other accessories plugged into your PS5 you will want to look into USB expanders as well.

These stopped working after having them for only 1 month. they were never dropped or anything. don't waste your money.

Broke right where the screw is on the microphone only had these two weeks so I wasn’t impressed

I was looking for a wireless headset with microphone and bought regular one. It hurt my ears even without my glasses. I decided to go with gaming headsets. I've tried a few of them both wired and wireless and had some defect including the mic. After further review, I took my chance on the 600 G2. I decided to go with the 600 G2 because I mainly will be using it for meetings and online conferences. What drew me to these were the comfort, features and lightness in weight, good sound and ease of use in windows 10 to automatically adopt the headset through plug and play. 1. The headset is comfortable even with glasses on. However, I've decided to buy the memory foam ones from wicked cushions. The ones on the 700 G2 is what I would prefer but I don't want the bluetooth plus the way the memory foam may easily come out because of how it's installed. I've see a few videos of the weakness and I am a bit rough on headphones. The OEM pads a good but the ones from WC feels plush and pillow soff on your ears. 2. The weight, feel and look is very gorgeous. It does feel very premium. 3. The headphones are very clear and crisp. Listening to meetings and audio podcasts are a joy. The placement of the volume and mic dials and the subtle recess/protrusion of the power/sound modes buttons are right where they are supposed to be and the operation seems natural using your left hand. For audiophiles, this is definitely not what you want to use to listen to music. I compared to other headphones for reference and these headphones are good (audiophiles = OK.......decent enough) for listening to casual music without going through the hassle of switching to another headphone. Subjectively, I'd say that the headset is about 50% comparable to my other headphones but they good with just enough bass and clarity to not let you pass an hour before your next online meeting. And yes, I love bass (minimal) and it's does have some oomph using the sound modes that you can pretty much use without switching to a high end one for what it is worth. Don't expect an audiophile sound with these for listening to pure music. 4. Without reading the user manual, connecting this to a windows 10 pc was plug and play. With the headset on, plug in the wireless transceiver, the computer recognizes and install all the drivers needed and that's it. It defaults the the wireless headset and I had to change it since that was not the preference I wanted. 5. Another thing that really drew me to buy this headset is the mic and how it's integrated into the headset. Up/folded in = off, midway=mute and down=fully on. You also hear the different tones for the different mic positions. The sound modes, volume and mic controls are also integrated nicely as well and it also looks completely sturdy and cool and I really like it. 6. While it is made in China (like everything else), it has excellent support in ENGLISH. I downloaded the Turtle Beach software and mine said it was up to date on the software. 7. These operate more like in transparency mode when you talk (mic on). When the mic is off, it appears to block out some of the external noise. This headset, particularly the mic does not appear to have external noise reduction so keep that in mind. I use Teams for meetings which have a noise suppression built in so this headset works for me.

TL;DR summary: One of the best implementations of 3D Sound that the PS5 produces in my experience with headsets. Earcups are on the small side and the clamping force of the headband makes them not ideal for larger heads. I was skeptical when Sony announced 3D Sound with the Playstation 5 rather than using something like Dolby Atmos to provide immersive sound. So when I received my PS5 I calibrated it for my speaker system and it was impressive, but nothing incomparable. I hadn't considered using a headset at first because I don't have a need to limit sound in my place, but then when hosting family one time, I decided to hook up a headset, it was an audio headset not focused on gaming. It was a good experience, but I wasn't really feeling the 3D Sound anymore. I'm not sure why, but I'm guessing that it was because it was physically a stereo setup compared to my surround sound system. I was asked to try out the Turtle Beach Stealth 600s and was curious if it would be different. It truly was. The 3D Sound immediately came in front and center. I started with Gran Turismo and doing a quick over the shoulder look during a race felt like I was truly in the driver's seat. Sounds followed my head. Then I tried MK 11. The cinematics between fights truly felt cinematic. Really dynamic surround effects, when Raiden teleported away, the thunder rumbled through my head but also in the distance of my room. The soundtracks on my PS5 truly came alive. Sound is a solid 10/10. I have always, for better or worse, had a head on the larger side. So headphones are a challenge for me in general. I've tried many overear headphones and few have felt comfortable for me for long periods of time. It usually results in a clamping pressure that wears me down. I can also experience a "hot spot" on the crown of my head. Sad to say these great sounding headphones gave me both experiences after about 15 minutes of wearing them. This doesn't bode well for long game sessions. And while the ear cup material is soft and plush, they ports where your ears sit are on the smaller side also. My ears felt a little cramped. Overall, I feel like these are perfect for younger gamers, but if you have larger ears or a larger head, you may experience some fatigue pretty quickly. Comfort for me is a 6/10. Overall, I recommend these with the caveats of comfort above. The sound is amazing. The little features like color matching to a standard PS5, the attached and stowable boom mic, and the sleek profile make it a solid purchase. Overall rating 8/10.

Long story short, this is one fantastic headset and should definitely be on your shortlist. Pros: -audio quality These sound way better than I was originally expecting. The sound is crisp and has a good amount of weight to it in the low end. You can hear all of the detail in the audio and it really makes good use of the PS5s 3D audio. The superhuman hearing also does actually seem to really zero in on the sounds of footsteps, movement, and gunfire. It definitely is a major advantage in any sort of competitive shooter. -ergonomics The headset is very light weight, with enough clamping pressure so you don't feel like it will fly off but not too much where it gets uncomfortable to wear for long periods. The earcuffs are breathable so it never feels hot or sweaty wearing them and there's a good amount of headroom for adjustments so it should easily fit the majority of head sizes. Cons: There aren't really too many cons and even then they are more inconveniences rather than detriments. The audio is indeed crisp as mentioned above but a touch bright. I could see it being a bit fatiguing listening to for long periods for some. Also since this is third party hardware, it doesn't show any indication of battery life or mute status in the OS itself. I may have missed it but I also didn't seem to hear an audio tone denoting the getting low or dying either so you may unexpectedly find yourself at a disadvantage when in a party with other people if it happens to just run out. Overall though, the experience is pretty good and the few inconveniences don't overshadow the many strengths this headset has.

There are SO many positives when it comes to these headphone from the materials used to the thought process behind features which make these a must have. The headphones are made super well and all of the buttons have a nice tactile feel to them. The ear cups are soft and the head strap is firm enough to keep them on your head but not to where it feels like a clam smushing your ears. The sound on these is AMAZING you can hear footsteps and rustling in the bushes in shooters to help you stay one step ahead. Now the sound and materials are expected to be high end but what really make these a must have are the small little things. 1. The charging is USB C which is what everyone is at/going to so you don't need more charing wires 2. The transmitter for the headphones makes it so there is NO INTERFERENCE from other devices, especially with there being so many wireless devices in our houses this is a must and removes any/all lag. 3. Mic monitering so this is so you can hear your self when you speak, that way you know if your being overloud/tone etc however these helped me just gently hear someone else that was talking to me. 4. The battery life was perfect, now it does do up and down depending on how high set certain items to but that's a given and the drop off on everything being high isn't that much. 5.Glasses friendly , not everyone will find this useful but its a major plus. 6. Flip to mute mic feature, this work so well and is so needed espically when your in a game and someone walks in telling something you may not want others to hear haha. Its an absolute must so much better than having to push a button, the flipping motion to turn on/off the mic just seems more natural

There are a lot of things to like about these headphones. Good battery life, attached microphone, wireless, multi-platform capabilities, and overall ease of use are all pros. The audio quality is clear and concise, obviously not as good as a wired headset but about as good as one could expect from a wireless headset. They charge very quickly via USB-C, and there was no hassle setting them up on PC. The instructions were very clear on how to navigate to the Turtle Beach website and download the audio hub, which added many additional functionalities to the headset. That being said, these headphones were designed for Playstation and not every Playstation user has easy access to a computer. It can be a bit of a hassle for them to get the proper firmware on the headset. Additional cons would be that these are not the most comfortable. The foam is rather hard. They are too small to encompass my entire ear, leading to a small bit of my lobe being pinched or having to scrunch my ear in them a bit. The attached microphone is nice, functionally, but it does pick up audio a little too much due to the distance from your mouth. Finally, the overall design of the headphones just feels a bit stiff and clunky. In conclusion, these are pretty good headphones. For me, if they were a bit more comfortable and the microphone was a better, that would make them excellent.

The two most important components of playing video games are the visual quality and sound quality. When both are high end, the game is fun to play. That is where a great seat of gaming headphones really makes the experience so enjoyable. Turtle Beach is known for comfortable, yet great sounding headsets and this is no exception. This headset requires the included dongle and does not offer Bluetooth connectivity. The dongle works flawlessly with both a PC and my PS4. Connectivity was fast and easy when following the instructions included with the headset. There are a few steps to follow with the PlayStation setup, but it works with a PC without setup. The headset is rated to be worn comfortably with glasses and the description is accurate. The cushioning is soft and sits lightly on my head with no discomfort in the temple area or around the ear cushions. The ear cushions are just right for blocking out unwanted sound while offering comfortable wearing for quite some time. The sound is incredible, putting you right in the scene of the game. It is subversive and there are four out of the box blends for the equalizer and all sound very good. I am a bass and treble boost fan, so I use the setting that boosts both ranges. The microphone is sturdy and useful with the ability to turn it on and off by raising it and lowering it. I was really happy with the variable microphone monitoring control, which allows more or less outside sound through the headset. This is handy not only for gaming, but for working as well.

I've tried a lot of different headphones over the last couple of years as I've really gotten into playing COD with actual teams and trying to communicate. These so far have been the best that I've tried. I know they are not on the same level as a professional gaming headset, but here is what I've found with these. First, the battery life has been amazing. I think I played nightly for about 2 weeks before they died. My only issue with this is that there didn't seem to be a notification on screen or a flashing light. It might have beeped but it was faint enough to where I didn't hear it. Second, the sound it pretty good. I can hear much better and my teammates said they could hear me better as well. The overall sound quality is very good. I could hear footsteps way better and I could tell where sounds were coming from as well. This was a big win. My only real complain is that the are comfortable but the earpads seem to be just a little too small. The fit on my ear as opposed to completely encompassing my ear. I've had this problem before so not a huge deal just a little weird feeling when you were it for a long time...over my big ears. Overall - they've become my go too headphones due to the sound quality and the battery life.
