I’ve had 2 now and the stem for the mic broke in the same spot both times. And the 2nd one i too extra special care to not break it so I’ll say it must be bad design. Returning tomorrow. Going for a different brand or model. Smh

Both headsets broke at different spots

My wife’s broke at the mic part cause the material is weak. I was able to hold it together by a tie wrap. My black pair broke today at the portion that goes over your ears. I bought the black pair two years ago and white one year ago but you can tell in the white picture that there is a stress crack already forming on my wife’s pair. Buyer buy the protection plan!! The Bluetooth goes far but if you’re in the same room as a person that has the same pair you will have echo issues even if using discord but the quality sucks for the price.

Lacking in comfort and ability..
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used many headsets and these are among the worst ive used.. First I want to address the fact that I could not step even a few paces away from my playstation OR computer with these before it started crackling audio. I tried two different rooms in my house (one with no other devices in it) and both had the same issue. The manuals claim 30 feet but i'd be hard pressed to get 10 honestly. That said if you're gaming when do you actually walk away and continue use? Just keep that in mind here if that will be an issue. The ear pads are extremely uncomfortable and of a swimsuit like material. They are scratchy and very loud when they move on your face/ears. For this reason alone they just are not comfortable for long periods of time. The holes for ears are on the small side and I don't usually have that issue on any headphones. They do a great job of noise rejection but that also means they hold a lot of heat. The headband squeezes your head a lot. When you use a headset sometimes the ear cups move to the natural head position and sometimes they don't, these ones do not. They make the V shape and squeeze your cheeks and head. Granted they do end up loosening up over time to your contour given the plastic build quality it doesn't really do the trick. The pho leather on the top is however comfortable on top of the head at least but i feel the material will degrade with oils. The mic has no noise suppression outside of playstation use. What that means is if you use this on PC or Switch as advertised that you have essentially a raw mic. Good example here is when I was using these my fortnite party could hear an airplane passing my house over my mic and we were laughing about it. Granted you get good audio quality in terms of a wireless headset as most of the time the mic is very poor this at least does a good job it's just that the lack of sound suppression which is most likely because playstation has this built in and when you use them with it sounds much much better. Just take note of this if you want to swap between stuff. The build is extremely plastic and cheap feeling. All I can really say about it honestly because some feel quality and some do not. This feels more like a toy than a gaming peripheral which is unfortunate. They look the part for sure but adjusting the plastic headband and putting on a cheap feeling ear pad just does not inspire confidence that this is something that will be good long term. Those things said if you can get over all that and maybe you are younger and have a smaller head/ears you will find this headset passable. The hard stops on the dials for sound and mic volume are actually really good. Nice tactile buttons and flip to mute are great features! The dongle is small if that matters to you and does not include any physical switch like other turtle beach sets. The sound quality is lacking low end compared to others. It's got a great midrange and you can hear footsteps alright because of this but the sound stage is fairly poor even with the surround option on the ps5 it just sounds like an artificial sound stage rather than what is intended here. I think for the money this is on the budget side for a wireless pair but you also get all the shortcomings of a budget wireless headset at the same time. It's passable for a child but if you're any bit into long gaming sessions and quality this headset isn't for you and I suggest looking into one of the more expensive models where you just get more for your money.

Garbage qnd annoying

They broke after a few months and had to superglue the mic back in place. DO NOT BUY. If this want a xmas gift I would demand my money back

Works until it doesn't

I contacted Turtle Beach support and after several emails trying to get the headset software updated and doing a hard reset, there was no success. They refused to replace the headset because it was 2 months out of the 1 year warranty. Never again will I buy anything from Turtle Beach.

Audio Works ok but microphone didn’t work at all

I tried everything humanly possible to go into my settings to adjust the correct things, looked up tutorials on how to fix this issue for 5 hours trying to justify spending $80 on a headset. Ended up returning it. For anyone who’s looking to buy one of these just be aware that this issue may come up.

Overpriced trash

Bad election for ps5

Didn't work for my needs:-(

Packaging referenced they were rated for use for gaming and PC, so I figured it'd be a great asset. This headset worked fit about 3-5mins before I started getting an ungodly feedback that would not stop. Disconnected USB dongle and reconnected hoping it would fix the issue, but it came right back during a meeting. Boxed them back up and returned them. Definitely would not recommend for PC use, though I can't speak for performance when gaming.

Not a fan

I bought this for my husband who loved his first gen turtle beach stealth 600 headset, so we got him this and were immediately disappointed after opening them. They look like they were made for a child, and felt like the plastic might break if you stretched it far enough to fit his head. Even with my significantly smaller head it was tight and uncomfortable with really small ear muff size. I can’t imagine wearing them for extended periods of time without getting a headache. These might be perfect for someone who has a really small head(child/adult), but if you get them thinking they will fit similarly to the old ones they will not.

USB Connection Problems

Multiple headsets stopped working SOON!

The first made it about 4 months and the microphone would start to go in and out (other people my son was playing with could not hear him) we did get the extended warranty so we eventually sent it out for repair/replacement. after only 1 month now the same thing is happening again. we know its not the system because our other son has a different headset that works completely fine on both the PS4 and PS5. When we turn this one in for the warranty we DEFINATELY will be going with a different brand next time.

Use with extreme caution!!!!

It became unbearable to use these headphones anymore. You never knew when the noise would kick on. I also experienced numerous times of voice echoing from friends and myself. Another issue was trying to get the headphones to sync with the wireless connection. I needed to turn them off and on constantly. Even after getting a good connection they would have issues with echoing or static. I used them maybe 10 times until I said enough. This is not what I expected from Turtle Beach. I had good headphones from them previously.

Bad service bad product

The second one I had to ask to get the warranty. Best Buy has the worst customer service.
