Good regular string light, bad/pricy curtain light

It’s a cool design but the animations just don’t come out how you think they will. The spacing of the lights is just too far apart to make out pictures. For $150 I think they could have been designed better. They’re very bright and pretty if you do solid or alternating colors though! However the Govee curtain light is just better value, by a lot.

Please consider that Curtain is not thought to display images or complex graphics.
It is a device dedicated to home decor, and for color transitions or classic effects, you can see the usage example we show on the website or Social Media pages.
Obviously, JPEG and GIF use is allowed, since every installation is different, and you can combine different products together with the grouping feature, to add other LEDs improving the density, and therefore the quality of the image you can show, it works like pixels for digital images, the more you have and the less spaced they are, the more precise the image will be, but we can't simply add more LEDs on a curtain, since this device is thought to be decorative, not a display and this would change its aesthetic along with the purpose it's been created for 😊

Pretty,,, expensive holiday led lights

The software is mediocre and it doesn't matter if you're on Android or iOS. I had to use both because they both have strengths and weaknesses. I wish I never bought in to the twinkly consumer stuff and just went all out on their Prosumer products as the two dont work together as this product isn't cheap. Also be aware that you will have issues I'd you have RGB and RGBW sets, they cannot be paired together just like the issues with the earlier product line comparison
