Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the HyperCharge 30,000 mAh Portable Charger's fast charging capabilities, citing its ability to quickly charge multiple devices simultaneously. However, some customers find the charger to be large and heavy, and a few have noted that it can become warm during use. The charging speed is a significant positive, while the size and heat generation are drawbacks for some users.

I bought this Portable Charger specifically because it is capable of 45W charging via USB-PD, at 20V/2.25A or 15V/3A, to charge my laptop. It is able to charge my laptop and gives me considerable more time away from an outlet, but there are a couple of annoyances. Firstly, it sometimes takes multiple attempts at plugging and unplugging it before it will charge the computer. Secondly, the charger suffers from terrible coil-whine, even using a 6' USB-C to USB-C cable to get as far away as possible, the noise is loud. The battery pack also gets quite warm when charging/discharging at 45W. I will continue using the battery pack until I can find another option with 45W USB-PD support other than this and the Razer Power Bank which is 12800 mAH and costs $150.

I was looking for a better to use for my laptop while flying to Mexico. Although, I did not need it for the laptop, we did use it on our phones and it charged them quickly! Still trying to figure out if the thing is fully charged lol. I may let it charge for the recommended 18 hours to see if the light indicator changes. It is a little on the heavy side, but what do you expect if it charges a laptop. Also, TSA did a secondary search of my carry on since they weren’t sure what it was on the scanner. So far I am very happy with it and take it with me on a regular basis!

The unit charge is fine. The cables are way too short. Charger is a lot bigger and bulkier than the ones I've previously used. May not be as comfortable to put in your pocket

I can charge multiple devices and keep them charged all day. A litle bulky and heavy, but it gets the job done.

The Tzumi HyperCharge seemed like a great idea for charging my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as well as my Samsung Chromebook Plus. I had no problems with charging my cellphone. However, with the Chromebook.I was never able to get a sufficient charge. I am not certain that this was a problem with the internal circuitry of the unit, but I ended up returning this device. Overall, nice build and excellent concept.

First, you have to buy a power cord. Then, it stops after the first 2 weeks of use. Not a good deal so far. I am going to exchange it and then see how the next one goes!

I purchased this a few days ago and tested it while traveling. Charging: The unit arrived 1/4 charged. I first tried charging it with a 5V-2.4A wall charger. The instructions say it takes 15 to 20 hours to go from 0 to 100% in this configuration. That is probably true, but after an hour of charging this way I decided I needed a faster charge. I used the OEM USB-C charger for my Lenovo Yoga 920, rated at 65W. Using a 45W or better USB-C charger, the battery should charge from 0 to 100% in 4 to 5 hours. I was packing for my trip while charging, so I wasn't strictly checking the charge time. I'd estimate it went to 100% in about 3 hours. That would be in line with the advertised estimates. Use: When I got to my destination, I decided to test out the battery, even though I had AC power at hand. My Lenovo Yoga 920 battery was at 43% according to Windows. I plugged in the Tzumi battery using a high-quality 9-foot USB-C to USB-C cable (rather than the approximately 4 inch cable included with the product). During the time it was charging, I used the computer for research, surfing the Internet, watching videos, and downloading pertinent files. Interspersed with this activity I was also answering emails. For about 20 minutes I uploaded new photos from my camera (its a working vacation), viewed them on my laptop screen, and deleted the ones I didn't want. During the entire time I made no effort to close extaneous windows or otherwise work in a fashion that might lighten the battery load. I just did my usual thing. The Lenovo battery reported itself 100% charged at one hour and 49 minutes (1:49). As the Lenovo got close to fully charged, I began to keep an eye on the Tzumi battery indicator, which only reports in 25% increments. The Tzumi indicator went from 75% to 50% about 5 minutes before the Lenovo was fully charged. In other words, charging the Lenovo Yoga 920 battery from 43% to 100% while doing he work I described above used 50% of the Tzmui battery capacity. The Tzumi battery did get a little warm while discharging, but nothing particularly alarming. It also got a little warm during charging with the 65W USB-C charger, but not as warm as during the discharge (usage) cycle. Nothing seems out-of-the-ordinary here. I could have done closer measurements for this review, but I see that these are on closeout (which is why I bought mine). I wanted to get the review out while there are still some of these to be had. If you are on the fence about getting one of these, don't wait another minute. I'm very pleased with mine. Highly recommended.
