So this item would not work out of the box with my Samsung Galaxy S4 using the USB cable supplied with the product. It would work with my wife's Razr Maxx HD and kid's tablet, not the S4. So i exchanged it for another. Same behavior. On a suggestion from an online review, i tried a different USB cable and viola, it worked. The cable supplied is really worthless. It's a "flat" ribbon like design and it's short as heck, so twisting isn't an option... you have to fold it over if your device is upside down when connected. Plus, it not working with a very popular phone is just not acceptable. However, if you use a different USB cable, it seems to work just fine. Since it is pretty cheap, pretty small and otherwise easy to use, i only deducted 2 stars and would recommend to a friend but with the caveat of throwing the supplied USB cord away and using your existing cable.

I'm on my phone a lot, so when I'm out and can't plug it in anywhere this allows me to continue having access to my phone. It's small and compact and can go in my pocket while my phone us in the holster comfortably.

This portable battery works pretty good it charges my phone in an hour up to 74% when battery is fully charged. I like the light indicator shows how charged the tzumi is. Also the tzumi does not feel hot to the touch if its been charging a while. The usb cable that comes with it is pretty weak, i had to use my phones usb to get a charge. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that I'm glad I bought it. Now I carry it with me all the time.

I bought this charger for my daughters phone and iPad so she is never without juice. Charges fairly quick and provides a complete charge for her iPhone.

I already had a much more powerful power bank but it is also significantly heavier. This one is smaller and lighter and works for the quick charge while you are on the go. The only caveat is that you need to carry along the USB cord to connect it to your phone. However, that is the case with all power banks. The cord to connect to your computer to charge the unit is included in the package.

It cost almost nothing. It's compact and it is a very fashionable color. Most importantly, I like having a readily available means to charge my cell phone.

I purchased this for a trip to Disney and it was able to recharge two iPhones enough to use late into the evening and it was light enough to carry around.

It won't charge your phone fully from scratch but it will keep your phone charged enough until you get to wall power outlet.
