Did not hold up well. Only lasted a few months before I had to take it off.

Itw had issues since we bought it very unhappy with that. It beeps and is slow

Not a good product at all, I went through 2 of them before I went with a different style case. The actual case itself is great quality, however the little rubber "band" that holds the plastic piece that covers the hinge broke on both cases that I purchased within 4-5 days... :( If they could fix that issue, it would be an awesome case.

The strap that holds the bottom piece on broke within a week.

This is supposed to protect your surface book and prevent it from opening up. It doesn’t keep it closed and when I contacted tech support, they asked for pics and then said the pics didn’t show the problem. So I sent more pics. Still no answer from them

This product is not worth the money. The "band" that is used to keep the bottom piece together breaks easily. I have already gone through 2 of them, 1 in the first 2 weeks of purchasing it. I have been trying to contact UAG for the last 2 weeks about a refund without luck. Last i heard they were going to forward my request and have yet to hear back.

Very bulky and difficult to separate the screen from keyboard once installed.

I have had this case three weeks. The cord that keeps the case together snapped me in the face, right in front of a client. Now it is useless. Because there are no other cases available, I will be forced to buy another one.

Looked to be a great case just didn't fit surface.

I did not care for this case at all I know is to protect the laptop but things were already getting caught with in the case dirt and such. it's also difficult to get on and off so it's not something I would want to take off frequently

This cover was just too bulky. I didn’t like it because of the bulkiness and the way it made my computer heavier!

The case’s size is match my laptop, but it not tight enough to hold it. I feel like it doesn’t fit it at all. Not worth it for $90

Terrible. If you want expensive computer to over heat this is the product for you.

First of all, it is a nightmare to fit unto the laptop. Then the band snapped and now it does not stay in place anymore!!

Look around and you will find that the options for a protective, clear case for the Surface Book (1 or 2) are very limited. In the time I have spent looking for a case for mine I have found 3. I thought that this one would be it because of the manufacturers reputation and reviews I read on Amazon. Upon arrival I could not help but notice that this case was built to be tough. Though that may be the case, when one installs it on the Surface Book one quickly notices that the beautiful design of the Surface Book fades away as it is wrapped in the ugliest case a laptop could have. It nearly doubles the weight of the Surface Book and has nothing but sharp edges. When placing the laptop on my lap I could feel the sharp plastic and rubber edges uncomfortably on my legs. When opened, the plastic that covers the keyboard also felt sharp turning the wonderful experience of using the laptop into an undesirable one. Separating the tablet from the keyboard was no better. Firstly, like I have said already, the edges are sharp. The bottom part of the tablet cover has pointed edges that make holding the tablet very uncomfortable. The one thing I hated the most was trying to reattach the tablet to the keyboard. One has to hold the rubber that wraps around the hinges back with one hand and attach the tablet with the other. This fight nearly removes the desire to separate the tablet from the keyboard. Overall I truly dislike this case. It is by far the worse case I have ever used (I have always had cases on my devices). I have given it two stars because it will certainly protect the device if it were to fall but its ugliness, weight and excessive use of rough edges has been enough for me to take my chances until the next case comes in and remove this thing from my Surface Book. It will definitely be returned.

Has lastedand protected my surface book 2 for about 4 yis now with almost no issues @ all.Reccommend this for all surface bookS 1,2,3
