    The case is sturdy to provide confidence that my phone is protected but perhaps it is too sturdy. The buttons are so stiff they are difficult to use. One must press very hard to engage the actual buttons on the phone itself. Also, the front rim, while perhaps raised to provide scratch protection for the screen if the phone were dropped, is so high that it is difficult to swipe down from the top of the screen or from the far edges.

    This case fit the phone perfectly and it already paid for itself. Accidently dropped my phone on its corner from pocket height onto concrete floor. Dropped a previous cell phone from that height without a case and the screen developed multiple cracks. This time, other than a scratch on the corner of the Scout case, the phone was in mint condition.
