If you are looking for something to protect your investment - UAG is an awesome case. I tried 4 different cases and so far this is my favorite. The case adds some bulk to the MBP - then again that means its well protected - you don't have to worry about scratching the corners. NOTE: Once you install it, opening the MBP is slightly different, the corners snap to the bottom of the device, so you'll actually have to open it by prying the corner rubber part to open your device. You still have full access to all of the ports and there is room for the vent. I own a UAG case for my iPhone and now I have it for the MBP as well.

To give a fair review I have now been using this UAG cover for a little over three months. I could not be more pleased with this case! at first glance I thought it was flimsy and wouldn't really protect it- but my MacBook Pro has been dropped and thrown around by my toddler and every time it absorbs the shock perfectly. I do find that dust and animal hair easily gets caught in the underside cover- but I take my laptop everywhere with me on all terrain so thats to be expected. The case itself is easy put on and remove without any damage to the laptop (just make sure to actually read and follow the directions!!) I was torn on the fact that the laptop kinda locks on the sides but after actually using it- I love that when I close the lid- it stays closed (keeps the kids out!) the case isn't overly bulky and makes carrying the laptop so much easier.

The case definitely has to interest someone in particular. It makes the Macbook feel heavy and fat. It definitely could protect it if it were to fall. But its a pain to install and remove.

I like to put a case on any electronic that is expensive.....like a MacBook. :-) I was worried that this case would make it feel to heavy, but it really doesn't. I have not dropped my MacBook and hope not to but it seems that it would protect it, especially the corners. I also like the look of the case on. I like how the case clicks together when it is closed, which seems to give it added protection and it is not to hard to open.

Good fit once installed on the MBP. Installation was straight forward following the instructions. I don't know if anything would protect a 15.4" MBP from a 3' drop on concrete, however, this cover should protect against less severe impacts and bumps. It does provide a nice feel for carrying the MBP - good grip and not too big. Nice to be able to see the logo through the cover, too. The only reason for the 4-start is the closing and opening must be actioned with both hands due to the overlapping corner protectors. That stated, I'd rather use both hands and have better protection at the corners although I expect this would be a critical fault if one has mobility or dexterity issues.

Love this case. Does fit nice and tight. Haven’t had to take it off but I would imagine if done correctly and carefully should have no problem. The double latch can get annoying but it nice knowing my little children can open it just yet and i can leave it out more often!!

One time I hit another motorcycle, with my motorcycle. The bike pulled out in front of me, and I was unable to avoid it. My laptop was in the saddle bag, and it didn’t get broken. It didn’t have the case on, but I bet it would had worked great. By the way, I like that it clicks when it closes.

Solid case that will protect your high priced laptop. Adapters may be needed to fit some Usb attachments though.

After making an expensive purchase of a MacBook Pro, I felt that I needed something to protect my investment. I read reviews online and decided upon the Urban Armor Gear. It was very easy to install and I am extremely happy with the purchase. I heartily recommend this product.

Probably the best case in terms of protection. The handoff is that it is very hard to open. I feel like you're bending the screen a little bit every time you open or close it, because it has two points to close/seal it.

Just spent $3000.00 on awesome Mac Pro. Wanted the best protective cover made, and I got it! Took 2 minutes to install. Thank You Best Buy!

This cover fits like a glove if you spend top dollar on computer I feel you need good case
