Needs an Ethernet cable....so not likely in a home environment. Difficult setup.

    Can't be beat

Wonderful access point with range that can't be beat for the money. This is an ACCESS Point, NOT a router. It's designed to add wireless access to an existing network. Like all AirMAX products, this powered via PoE (Power Over Ethernet) which means you need to have an ethernet cable running to the unit, (Which is again, exactly what it's designed to do). An injector is included in case your ethernet isn't powered. I use this unit for wireless access during search and rescue operations, and it performs phenomenally well. Will be buying more.
