    A Pleasurable Beta

The first Division game started off on a great note only to be soured by poor choices made by Ubisoft that cost them well over half their playerbase. These poorly chosen changes were eventually 'undone', but only a fraction of the departed players returned to see the game restored to glory. Enter Division 2. Taking criticisms and feedback from the best aspects of the first game and using them as a base, the new game is an excellent successor to the first, this time based in Washington D.C. The Beta, while limited, showed that Ubisoft has listened well to feedback, and is delivering a game that will make previous Division players happy (even those that left), as well as lure in new ones.

    Headed to DC

Betas give companies a chance to see how a game performs and players an opportunity to try out a game before release. Going into a beta, it's important to understand development is still ongoing, so issues are expected. And there were definitely bugs during the beta. The main ones I encountered were audio bugs where gunfire would cut out followed by other sounds. It's clear Massive and Ubisoft learned from and improved upon the mistakes of the first game. Gunplay still feels great. DC looks nice and I look forward to exploring it.

    Division 2 BEta

I played the beta version, which was only available when you pre-ordered the game. Other than a slight glitch in deploying one of my weapons and unexpectedly falling half way through a solid floor (quick sand?) the beta was awesome. I lost hours playing the game and was happy to have decided to give this second version a go. If you're on the fence on whether you should buy this game, don't, it's a solid product. You missed the beta but the game will easily help you forget that.

The Division 2 private beta is a free gift for users who pre-ordered Tom Clancy's The Division 2. It's a cover-based shooter, which takes place in Washington DC. The first game released in 2016 and took place in New York City. Ubisoft made a number of improvements to the first game, and their work shows. I finished the campaign with my friend just recently, and personally finished this private beta. I can't wait for The Division 2 to release in 2019.

Gameplay runs better, graphics are sweetened up a tad, but the AI is still as dumb as rocks. This seems like Division 2.0 instead of a full fledged sequel. I have still pre-ordered but there some bugs that need to be addressed the music during firefights is epic! Unless you have buddies that you can co-op with you may want to consider something else if you are looking for some major improvements/upgrades/changes to the game, as they simply are not there.

Playing the Division was one of the best video game experiences I've had a gamer. I didn't think it would be better. Well Spider-Man for the PS4 took it to another level. Now this brings us to the Division 2 and so far playing the BETA i can say this will be the most played game in History! Options/Uprages DLC I can safely say we will be playing this game for 2-3 years and be VERY HAPPY! 2 Thumbs up to Ubisoft!

I am still playing the first Division game and was really excited when I heard a second release was coming. I bought it immediately and really enjoyed the private beta weekend. Gameplay and sound effects seemed more realistic and the enemies were way more tactically advanced than the toughest ones in the firs game. I can’t wait for the release in a few weeks!!!

    Division Two - Meh

Look, I grinded hard on Div 1. Played it almost exclusively, in the DZ, going rogue, clapping kids left and right with my builds, that I had to grind for, and fix after every nerf. At PAX west I got to play the 15 minute demo mission, and thought, man this has some new mechanics, new enemies, the environment looks sick. Got DIV 2, grinded, got the elite sub machine gun (forget the name now - has a green gas coming off of it - it's a p-90). My friend and I were schmelting kids in the DZ. I had this build for maybe a week before Massive patched and killed it. Then of course, the next meta was all the rage, AR's, then shotties, then back to subs, etc. Just like Div 1. You could never have an end game character because they would always nerf builds and change how you craft etc. I eventually tired of this, and the game was just too grindy.

Although I only played (the demo) a short while, the game is much improved over the last iteration. The enemies no longer feel like impossible to beat bullet sponges and the graphics are amazing. The world feels more alive and the gameplay is even tighter this time around. If you liked the first game you will live this one.

After being a dedicated Div 1 player, I couldn't wait for the Div 2 beta. The unlocked content has been good so far and the new mod system a lot easier to maintain. The 1st 4 hours of game play have been satisfying even-though it's the BETA. After the huge disappointment OF fALLOUT 76, this is refreshing.

    Still The Division, With Improvements

What can you say, The Division is still The Division with a change of location and improvements to graphics and gameplay. If you liked the first you'll like this version. The Beta was lots of fun but also highlighted some technical issues which is the point of a Beta. I have pre-ordered the final release for Xbox

The Beta for this game is great. I have a good feel of how the actual game will be, barring any changes made by Ubisoft in the next month. I really have enjoyed the demo. I got the information from Best Buy early enough to start the very large download so I didn't really lose any play time for this timed demo.

The developers have really brought the Division franchise a long ways from its initial release. They learned from the early struggles with Division 1, and have a great platform for the sequel. I think this will be a high end game with a ton of depth and is one that everyone should at least try out!

Beta is for testing purposes, so when the game crashes or disconnects from the server while you're shooting bad guys, it's expected. I like the look/feel of the game, similar to the original game, with a new story line and different aspects to the skills and health, etc... I'm enjoying it :)

Big sucker for the Division. Spent 600 something hours in the first one and hyped for 2. Beta was great fun and my clan is ready. Decent improvements over the first game and more to come. They didn't reinvent the wheel and that's a big plus. Is it March 15th yet?

The beta has many bugs to work out, however they are building off the original which I enjoyed very much. It seems as if they have changed the dark zone and I haven't really been a fan of the changes to this point. I wish there was more content available on the beta.

This game is going to be a lot of fun and a major time dump. Kind of releasing during a tough time though with Anthem and Apex Legends just launching. But it definitely deserves your time. The game is huge and a lot of fun. Lots of loot to be had.

Massive improvement from the first game! Solid mechanics, control and gameplay. Bigger map! Gear sets have real attributes and doesn't seem to be OP. Refined perk system is definitely cool. So excited for the full game! See you March 12th!!

This was hands down the best private beta ever. It gave you what to expect from the story as you level and for the first time I've ever seen in a beta what to expect from the end game content as well. Cant wait for the open beta March 1st

Really enjoyed the first Division, just wish there had been more to it. Really excited for 2 after playing the beta. The AI was a big surprise with enemies activily trying to flank and out maneuver you. Can’t wait to play the full game.
