This review is for Ultimate Ears BOOM Wireless Bluetooth Speaker - Black. I Went to Best Buy and listen to the Bose Soundlink Mini, the UE Boom, Beats Pill, and the JBL Flip. Quickly narrowed it down to the Bose Soundlink Mini and the UE Boom. The UE Boom's bass is just a tad under the Bose Soundlink Mini, but the UE Boom's volume and overall clarity was much better in my opinion. The 360 degree listening area of the UE Boom and its 15 hour battery life versus 7 for the Bose Soundlink Mini was ultimately what sold me. Oh, not to mention the UE Boom has an app with an equalizer that can do minor adjustments and you can see battery percentage from your phone or hear it by holding down both the volume up and down buttons on the unit. Nice to know UE Boom will do software updates with the app that you can then adjust your speaker. I feel bad for anyone that bought the Bose Soundlink Mini and didn't test out the UE Boom first. If you're debating, try them both out and you will go with the UE Boom hands down. I would like to Thank Ms. Britney who work at (Mid River Mall) whose customer focus was exceptional. She showed professionalism, knowledge of the products.

This Bluetooth speaker is the beat right now in the market it haves a strong long life battery 15h the distance 50 ft range plus you can combine two speakers and still get stereo sound from it also make with water and dirt resistant and haves a rubber surrounding speaker from drops and falls a++ speaker

I shopped for about a month for a good bluetooth speaker. I was looking for durability coupled with great sound quality. This speaker delivers those is spades. I use it out by the pool and at the ranch. The 15 hour battery life is awesome. The sound quality is amazing for such a small speaker. It is splash/waterproof and can handle being outside. Super easy to use. Bluetooth pairing is super simple and the range is easily as advertised or better. The app that you can download to your phone or ipad is fantastic. Allows you to change the sound to fit the type of music or the room that you are in. The ability to pair two speakers to one device is great too. Overall, a great purchase.

Now, no matter where you are, you can have really nice sound. This little UE Boom speaker is well thought out. From the heavy solid feel, the tower shape, and the long battery life, you can not only feel the quality, you a hear it. No, it's not the sound of your home system, but there is a nice mix of bass and treble and much more sound than your mobile devices. There is no buzz on unwanted sounds when played low or booming loud. I like the tower shape. It seems to sit solidly on a table or any flat surface. It also seems to send out a sound in all directions. It comes in a very protective case that cleverly contains the charger and cord, (which are a trendy yellow with a flexible flat cord.) I've not had the speaker a long time, and i have not dropped it, nor it has not been rained on, so I cannot speak to those issues. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and look forward to hearing the sounds for years to come.

I bought this speaker on a Black Friday special to use as a portable speaker in various rooms and in the garage when working outside. It puts out a decent amount of volume with good base. Easy to use and so far it pairs every time I use it with my phone. I have not tried to run the battery down all the way, but it can easily handle at least a few hours of non-stop music.

It looks cool, produces great audio and is very resilient. It was super easy to setup and has unreal battery life. I have the black/red version and it looks like it did on the day I bought it. It has been the sound system for two parties and everyone raved about how clear the music was and surprised they were that such loud sound came out of a small speaker. It has survived countless play times for my 2 year old (who likes it even more than I do). Overall it is worth every penny and I recommend it to everyone that asks or mentions Bluetooth speakers.

This speaker is awesome. Its ability to serve as a speaker phone (even in your car or while walking or on bike rides) in addition to lasting several days on a single charge makes this speaker a great choice. That's 15 hours of portability to be exact. Did anyone mention that you can pair this speaker to another one? That's right, buy two and pair them for stereo sound. It's easy and incredible. So awesome, i actually bought two. UEBOOM has an incredibly awesome tech support staff, located in Brooklyn NY. I could talk all day about this product but you get the message. If you're not convinced by now, you're in total denial!!!

Bought this for me to have outside for parties. Puts out amazing sound for the size without getting distorted. Easy to use and water resistant. Love this little guy!

We looked into this speaker after a family member purchased it and we had a chance to hear it perform. We were pleasantly surprised on how well it sounded and was by far the best quality sound, loudest volume, furthest reaching radius & longest battery life compared to any of the other speakers in it's similar class. We went in thinking we would just take a look and listen and weren't planning on making a purchase but after listening to its performance and only 2 left on the shelf we decided to go ahead and purchase one! :) We have been extremely pleased with it!

I was in the market for a Bluetooth speaker and after lots of research and watching lots of YouTube reviews I decided on the ue boom. I highly recommend it. Not tons of bass but plays loud for its size. Very compact. Fits in any bag easily. Fits in a cup holder. Battery last a very long time if played at a lower volume. 15 hours. I listen to It a lot and I can go a week or so without charging it. It's also water resistant. I bring it to the pool or the beach and have no worries. A+++++ for a Bluetooth speaker.

Sound is good, which is most important. The flexibility of configuration (like being able to double up) and durable feel (life proof) are also both great. I've paired it with many devices and it's always been both fast and easy. What keeps it from being 5 stars is just one button. Now that I've had it for several weeks I find I carry the speaker around with me but often leave my phone on its charger. When a call comes in I can't answer from the speaker, nor can I pause or restart the current track without getting back to the phone. This is nothing that would keep me from buying it again, but if it just had that one button which would do those tasks (just like my BT ear buds) it would be a perfect product.

Great for traveling and for any outdoor person. Easy to pack, durable, waterproof, long battery life, and great sound.

These speaker have great sound, clear, great base, very compact and water resistant. easy to use and take anywhere.

I principally bought this speaker for its portability, it also has a good sound and is certainly loud enough. Only downside is if I take it into a different room from my iPad, it cuts out. Great in an open plan room though. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Also, beware, a couple of years from now when the rechargeable battery stops charging, the battery cannot be replaced, so the whole thing will have to be thrown away. I actually called UE Boom and they confirmed this. You will not be able to just plug it into the wall instead, that won't work. The same is also true of the more expensive Sony SRS-BTX500. Just sayin'

High quality sound , probably the highest in it's size and price. Researched all in its class and chose this for the big quality sound, small size & water resistance. I knew my 14 year old daughter would take it into the bathroom (without ever turning on the vent fan) into high humidity conditions... I wanted the best quality that would withstand what she would put it through-so far so good;-) Really great sound!

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker and the sales associate explained the difference between all available models. UE Boom has excellent sound and is water resistant. If my budget had allowed I would have purchased the next model up which is waterproof. Especially since I have a pool. Sound is fantastic, we use it on our deck at home, bring it to the beach...easily portable. Great purchase!

Let's face it, more people listen to music and watch video from their smartphones, tablets and portable computing devices than ever before. The sound from the built-in speakers have much to be desired. The UE -Boom is simply one of the best products I've heard in it's class. The sounds is full, bass is clear but not exaggerated, and the build quality is good. For the money, It should have come with a carrying case and it would be nice if the price was closer $150. That aside, skip past Beats, Jawbone, Sony, and Bose for the portable speaker and grab one of these.

It's a great mid range speaker that gets really loud for the size and price and has a decent amount of bass. It is also water resistant and great for the shower, also very good battery life: If you have the extra 100 dollars go ahead and get the mega boom just because of better sound quality and it is fully waterproof. But overall this is a great speaker way better than beats.

I bought this speaker for my son, who is a music teacher. He needed a speaker that he could hear over the amplified sound of his guitar students. The size is perfect to carry from studio to studio, and the volume goes a lot louder than he had expected. The overall sound is great. This was the perfect gift, exactly what he needed. I intend to buy another for my husband.
