I use it everyday, especially on the shelf during my shower. And for those moments when I'm watching YouTube on my phone or tablet, it's great when some YouTube videos are recorded with low volume. Makes a huge difference.

I've had the bose bluetooth speaker, but I really wasn't satisfied, which was surprising given the reputation of Bose products, but I tried this speaker and I really liked it, compared to the Bose bluetooth.

Wonderful speaker...loud crisp and clear. At low volumes this more than exceeds the 15 hour battery life...beware...at highest volume don't plan to get more than 4 hours of listening. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the range on the blue tooth leaves a lot to be desired...with the phone in my pocket I am lucky to get 15 feet. Other than that I am very pleased with the speaker. After a lot of research I bought one as a gift and I liked it so much I bought one for myself

While researching the best smaller, Bluetooth speakers, I tested all that were in this category. I have to say that the UE Boom blows away the competition. The sound quality is much better than its closest competitor, the Bose Soundlink. Since I've owned this product, many of my family members and friends have also purchased one.
