purchased for my son in college, he loves it, sound is great, very portable, battery stays charged for a long time

I initially purchased the UE Boom to take around the house and to the beach. This speaker, for the price point, is one of the better sounding speakers and its pretty rugged, so hopefully should last for some time. As a matter of fact, it was so good, I decided to purchase a second one to use the Double Up feature where you can connect to two UE's and listen to them in stereo, sounds amazing and would recommend to anyone looking for a decent Bluetooth portable speaker.

Easy to use and sound quality is outstanding. Battery life lasts for an entire 18 holes out on the golf course too!

I purchased this speaker to work alongside the one I purchased for my husband last Christmas. He loves his UE Boom so much and when he heard they could be synched together to create a stereo sound, he just had to have another! The sound is even more incredible in stereo. You won't regret this purchase - it is small enough to be easily transported, yet it gives out incredible sound! Buy with confidence!!! Buying online from Best Buy was as easy as it gets!!

I originally had my eye on the Bose Soundlink II, but after comparing the two products, this one was the clear winner. You can take this bad boy to the beach, or by the pool and not worry about it getting a little splashed due to its design. It also seems louder and boom-ier than the SoundLink. Overall, great product and I have not had any issues with it. UE also puts out updates to it with new features and enhanced/custom sound profiles, so be sure to update it!

Overall it's a great speaker. I would purchase it again especially for the price point. This speaker has provided the music for several beach trips, outside picnics, small cookouts. A six pack a blanket and my boom and I'm ready for anything outdoors. Indoors it's good for a one room situation especially if your not trying to violate the neighbors with your loud music. But if I'm in a room away from my stereo system better believe I have my UE Boom playing. A bit more bass would have been nice. But would have had to upgrade to the other boom and that price point is too much for a speaker I'm going to take to the beach. Overall love it. Cool colors as well.

I did my researching for the best wireless speaker and something that was easy to travel with. I have the large Harman/Kardon. which is the best of all wireless speaker but its not easy at all to travel with plus it only stays charged for 2 hours. I got this one here for a Christmas present and charged it up 3 days before New Year's. We went to Vegas for 4 days and played it night and day without having to recharge it. The sound carries throughout the 4 bedroom condo. I wished it could have a lot more Bass like the larger harman/kardon. Also it comes with the best secure carrying case, that compartmentalizes all the accessories within.

The sound of these are amazing anywhere you take it, inside, outside, or in a small room based on the App software options. The best THD performance I've seen in a long time let alone from a wireless speaker. Amazing tweeter and bass levels. Like the phone call ability as well. The battery life is better than they say, lasts at least 20 hours total play time. Make sure you run it all the way down the first time before you recharge for the first time.

I love this speaker. It performs exactly as promised. After returning another speaker that did not serve my purpose well, I quickly went back and bought this one. I live very close to a major highway and I like to garden in my backyard. I am able to hear my music over all the noise. Albeit, playing music at this volume inside the house will sound a little wrecked. It is not a DJ system. I plan on buying another one because you can link them.

the speaker is easy to connect to your Bluetooth device and has a great volume range. The sound is excellent for one speaker. The battery lasts 6 hours before needing charging.

Don't walk, but run to pick the best under $200 Bluetooth Speaker. I had trouble finding a bluetooth speaker that was reasonable and sounded reasonably good. Since the early 90s, I have listened to great audio systems, but I was looking for something I can take to the beach or around the campfire. This was the one that fit the bill. I has a hook, so you can hang it from your beach umbrella or a tree. You won't regret purchasing it.

One of the better sounding and rugged Bluetooth speakers out there. I have two. Stereo mode is were its at. Only issues that I've had is pairing both speakers sometimes. Nothing a turn on-off won't fix. Also sometimes I will get drop off or interference around other electronics. But that is when I'm trying to do stereo mode out of an Apple TV, while airplaying a video on wifi. It's could be the Apple TV for all I know

This speaker has excellent sound. It is light and portable and holds a charge for a long time.

Was looking at the pill by beats and Bose before purchasing this item. In the end I decided to go with the boom. The sound quality is excellent and its small enough where you can put it anywhere when traveling. The range of the Bluetooth is around 50 yds. I bring it mostly to the beach or on hikes and sound quality is great outdoors. Bose has better sound but half the price I would highly recommend the boom.

Purchased while on sale. While the UE2 is slightly better at water resistance and high volume, not a difference maker for me. How often will you be testing water resistance or playing at max volume. At $99.99, it is a bargain!

Nice size, great sound, and long battery life. Everything you want in a bluetooth speaker.

We have purchased a number of these and pair them to create a very full sound for larger spaces, or just use on in single rooms. Especially great for outdoors use in the summer. I like that I can take is anywhere and make it my table speaker if I want to hear a game at a sportsbar. I just tune into the signal with an app on my phone and push the audio to my speaker so the whole table can hear.
