UE Boom works just as expected. Great for indoor use, gets really loud inside my apartment. Super easy to sync, even with multiple phones. Only thing is when I use it at the community center it has a hard time getting loud in a big room. It's advertised as being able to use outdoors but it has a hard enough time with big rooms where it can still echo a little. I can't imagine it being very loud outdoors.

I bought this back in 2013 after going through a lot of reviews between ue boom and bose mini as price of both was same and both were the best portable speakers available in market then. Finally decided on this due to portability, ruggedness and fantastic battery life. This year on sale it was a steal.

I was considering another speaker that had great reviews but after listening to the quality of sound of this one it blew it away! Use it all the time, easy to connect plays loud, clear and long. No regrets 5 out of 5, better than Bose overrated device too!

I bought this speaker almost a year ago, looking for something that was tough enough and loud enough to take to the beach. It's ok if it gets wet, sandy, etc., but the sound is incredible! I take this everywhere I go! Literally. I've taken it on vacations, to weddings/hotels for girl's nights, listen to it every morning when I'm getting ready for work, it's the best.

If you are looking for a wireless bluetooth speaker with great sound and reasonably priced, you're looking for the UE Boom . The unique design allows sound to radiate at 360 degrees, allowing sound to reach everyone in the room! I love that it comes in a variety of colors and they can all be synced at once, from a single device. This was a great buy at Best Buy!

I purchased this to connect via my phones Bluetooth to listen to music while home, gardening, camping...ect. Or while doing anything outside. The sound quality is great. I would highly recommend this unit for a portable speaker. Have also used connected to my TV when I need to hear it and others are sleeping. Keeps the noise level near you and not throughout the house.

Small, but provides big sound. Looks nice. Very easy to set any where.

During Thanksgiving week I was visiting my son and his family in San Francisco. At thanksgiving dinner I dropped my iPhone 5S on a tile floor and cracked the screen. I took it to the main SFO Apple Store to get it replaced. While killing time waiting the last half hour for its completion I browsed the store. I stopped at a table where they were showing accessories. I was drawn to a small Harmon Kardon portable Blue Tooth speaker. The tech asked me if I have a favorite singer and song. I told him yes - Pavarotti singing Nesun Dorma. So, he found it on his iPhone 6s and played it for me on this speaker. Then he suggested that he demo the next level of Bluetooth speaker. WOW! The sound was even better but 50% more. Then he suggested that he demo an even better Bluetooth speaker. That was a UE - Boom wireless speaker. I couldn't believe the sound when Pavarotti broke into Nessun Dorma. So, I spread the rumor around that I sure would like one of these for Christmas. That didn't look to be to productive. So, I thought and thought about paying $199 for this speaker. Lo and Behold, Best Buy came up with this speaker on a super special by mail for $99. I couldn't wait to get it ordered. I was initially skeptical in purchasing a more expensive bluetooth speaker since I assumed it would sound bad. However, after purchasing it, all I can say is it sounds amazing considering the size. It's amazing how much sound (including the lows) can come out of such a small package. Well worth the money if you need a portable bluetooth speaker.

Bought this for around the pool outside. It's water resistant so it can take water splashes from the kids jumping in the pool. It's loud enough for backyard party music. At full volume the battery will not last the 15 hour battery life stated. You can probably get the 15 hours at 50% volume. Fits great in a cup holder of a cooler while outside.

I am outdoors a lot in the summer through a combination of camping, sports, and the beach and this speaker holds up great through the elements. The battery life is great, the sound is awesome for the price, and the speaker holds up great to regular wear and tear. Four of my friends have the same speaker and have had the same positive experience.

Love this speaker. Great bass and overall sound. My brother has one too, so I'm looking forward to testing the app and having both play surround sound. Battery lasts reasonably long, super portable and very durable.

I bought this speaker after seeing a fellow disc golfer using one at a tournament. I now use it every time I golf. The sound quality is amazing. Let me tell you that this speaker is tuff. I carry it in my golf bag's water bottle pocket, and have used it in the rain and snow. If you like to rock out while golfing, get yourself the UE BOOM!!!
