came out of packaging already charged, speaking of packaging, it's just a poster board folded fancy like, pretty cool Used it on the beach in Destin, FL waterproof and loud..just what I wanted

I have a Boom for my home and added a mini Boom for my office. I didn't think I would want the Roll when it came out because the other two met all my needs. Then I started planning a backpacking trip through Asia, and realized that the Roll's flat profile would be more ideal for my packing style: small, flat, with a smart bungee attachment solution. The quality and features of UE's other speakers are employed here, and I love the added waterproofing. I plan on using this in the shower as well as my main travel/camping speaker. The power button is a little stiff to activate and the port for the power cable is at an awkward angle, but those are only minor complaints.

I used this with my samsung s5 and also my tab 3 it works very good sound is great very easy to hook to bluetooth and charging is very simple I would recommend to buy if you're looking for a portable speaker for medium sound

Works very well. Was skeptical because I have never heard of the brand but very happy with the overall product. Seems durable and almost if not as good as my Bose blutooth speaker

I love these speakers. I've been able to use them in the shower, outside while bbq'ing, and at the lake while fishing in my Kayak, as they are water resistant. A single speaker gets loud and sounds great, but when you have them connected as a set, they are awesome! My only complaint would be that the batteries, which are rechargeable, do not last for long playing times. All in all though, they are great speakers, great sound, not a whole lot of bass, but music sounds crisp and clear.

Has great sound for listening to playlists outdoors at the park! Doesn't get muffled. Great ap to help connect and control! Best pair up with blue tooth speaker I've found so far!

Purchased this after seeing one in use on the golf course. This speaker has good sound, not real loud, but is light and clips on to a golf bag for walking. Love this speaker

Very easy to use. Sound is very good given the <$100 cost. Shape and handle make it convenient for some uses more than others, but is easy to hold and/or attach to other gear.

the little speaker is awesome for college life. I'm always on the go and it's easy to take with me and a little splashing from the pool, beach or shower doesn't do any harm!

at first seems a bit pricey but it is worth it. battery does last and nice sounding for the size, I bought it for cycling and now I take it with me everywhere with me

This wireless speaker sounds awesome. Very easy to set up and use with great sound. Worked wonderful on the beach. The elastic band makes it easy to hang.

Great mid and highs. Not a ton of bass. But the best quality vs versatility and rugged portability. So I bought another and the stereo quality is Awesome!

This speaker is fantastic overall! Durable, compact and built to withstand outdoor activities. This is actually my go to speaker for travel. I've got various other BT speakers including expensive Bose ones. This doesn't quite sound as good as those, but the combination of portability, good battery life and overall nice sound makes this one of my very favorite speakers.

Just bought it but I couldn't be more happy with it! My fiancé has the UE boom, I wanted something smaller and more portable for work, small get togethers, ect. When I turned it on I was impressed with the volume, thinking about buying another!

Bought this for a beach trip. It worked beautifully and sounded amazing by the pool and by the sea. I did not have to worry about sand or water damaging it. It's fully water resistant, as long as you don't drop it in a deep pool and leave it there for a long time. I am just impressed by the sound it puts, as well as the battery life. The free apps is pretty good too.

IF you're looking for a small, durable, water proof wireless speaker, this one should be on the top of your list. At around $50, it's a steal. The battery has a long life and the band on the back allows the speaker to be hooked almost anymore. Sound quality is pretty good. Wish it would be louder, but that's nitpicking at this point.

The in store model didn't do the speaker justice, it gets incredibly loud with suprisingly nice low end.
