Best Fighting Game on the Market

I love fighting games, so when i found out that Ufc 09 was being made, i waited in great anticipation for what seemed like forever until i played online and everyone disconnected nonstop and create a fighter was lacking and career mode horribly boring. All that changed this year, the fighting is smoother, the career more in depth and entertaining, and the training system makes you feel like you are engaged in your fighters skill from the ground up. Many will compare it to Fight Night for some reason, but this is alot better. I mean, what is not to like about kicking another grown man in the head. The ground game is fun and throwing someone only to bend they tap never gets old. Huge Roster with all the favorites are there. Introductions are dead on. If you are looking for a great fighting game with beautiful graphics and realistic fighting, look no further. If you want a game that you can beat up your friends on whether they are in the room with you or across the country, look no further. If you love Mixed Martial Arts, here you go. The controls seem natural and you will LOL everytime you KO a buddy and they fall down all contorted. A must have game and looking forward to next years. This series has no worries of competition from EA MMA because they already perfected the fighting game.

Best Game I've Played Since UFC 2009!

This game is great for anyone looking for a realistic MMA game. From the graphics to the controls this game is by far my favorite and I've only had it for a day! The sway system is great, and I'm loving the new online camps. The career mode is much better and the ground and pound is amazing. 10 times better than last year's game. I'd suggest this game to, well, anyone!

    UFC Undisputed: 2010 almost a 10

UFC Undisputed 2010 is a fantastic game! It makes last years issue feel like a begginer model. You have an upgraded moves list to choose from, more submissions and even submission transitions(SWEET!). A lil fighting against the fence although not perfect but definately better than none is also a welcome addition. The Career Mode has been extended. Last years felt a bit short. Could finish building a high level CAF in around 6-8 hours this year it feels a bit long, my first attempt took around 20 hours. More modes where added including a Title mode and a Title Defense mode. Both are short but give you points to spend in a Shop for entrance scenes, victory scenes, taunts, and clothing. You still have your Ultimate Fights mode with Ultimate Knockouts but more video options and reasons to play the losing side! Online gameplay experiance totally depends on the other user. If they're a respectable fighter you'll have a good time. If not, sorry. Overall the game is great. Any glitches or tics THQ will respond quickly too. Loading and connection screens have already shortened though still feeling a bit longs. Any fan of fighting games must own this game!! It truely is the sport of the future!

UFC Undisputed 2010 puts 2009 to shame. The controls are the same as 2009 and take some time to master, but they're very easy to learn. The new menus make navigation quicker and it doesn't have to load every time you change the screen. there's a few more single player modes and a more in-depth career mode. with over 100 fighters and 3 new fighting styles it will take a long time to get bored with this game.

I don't own UFC 2009 as I wanted to wait for this release as I heard alot was fixed and upgraded. All I can say is this game is fun! The controls are nice and smooth and the camera angles are always accurate so that you can see your fighter. The graphics are good but I'm a bit spoiled by the graphics in Fight Night Round 4 which is a pretty high bar to reach. The controls can be confusing at first but they have a great tutorial section that shows you what you need to do. It is a bit overwhelming at first but as you play more it becomes second nature. Overall, great controls, excellent voice commentary, solid graphics, and good plain fighting fun!

Great Fighting Game, almost as great the UFC

This is a really fun game. I did not buy the 2009 version of the game so I believe that it has taken me a lot longer than most to get used to the game play. I lost all but one of my first six fights. It was a rough start. I had to restart my career to and I managed to get on track after that. There is so many things that you can alter about the character that you can make your career fighter look very similar to you. It can be tedious at times but if you are willing to tweak with your fighter enough it will look close to you. There could be a better explanation about what the buttons do in the slider (like when you are adjusting the brow) But you are able to make it work with messing you can figure it out. The loading time has to be addressed though. It took over 5 minutes to load my game the first time. Each and every time after that it takes an average of a nearly 2 minutes to get to the main menu every time I put the disc in. That is very annoying but I have managed to deal with it. I love the game play, it has taken a while to get used but overall it is a good game. I have not played online yet but I am hoping to in the future. I suggest you play all of the sparing sessions during the career mode to get the maximum out of it. It helped me figure out the combos a lot better than doing in during a record fight. Palehorse52

UFC Undisputed 2010 has come a along way from last years game. One thing noticeable is the graphics. On this years version, every fighter received HD graphics. The career mode has went through some major improvements and looks great. It is deeper and offers more options like switching weight classes. The only negatives about this game is that if you buy it preowned, you will be paying $5 to play online. As of now, the online servers are terrible. Matches are hard to come by, and the lag is devestating. Other than online play, Undisputed is a great game.

ok first the good things , graphics awesome , all the new moves are amazing! you really feel you're the fighter , the controls are awesome amazing job to get all the moves and transitions on a single controller in a fun easy way! no fighting game is better than the UFC 2010 game! the only flaw in the entire game was the decreasing stats and skills in carrer painfull to keep your fighter improving , and its not just the stats but the other skills to cardio/strenght/speed and you need also weeks and weeks resting between trainings and also the way you learn new moves is odd to complete the task, since there are not very detail , but the game overrall is awesome! its a solid 9.5! it would have be a perfect 10 , if not for the carrer mode flaw! but the good thing is there are a lot of other things online fights , ultimate modes fights , title mode , defense mode , exhibition and much more!

This game is definitely a step up from last year. The improvements against the cage make the whole MMA game better. This game has a more realistic feel with the movement and collision of the characters. The roster is great and I love watching Kimbo get knocked out over and over again. The online camps and online tournaments are probably the most exciting part of the game for me. In the weeks leading up to the game, I enjoyed spending time brain-storming ideas for a fight camp team name. I can't wait to host my own tournament. It will be Bloodsport all over again. I also bought a boxing game last summer and I will never buy/play a boxing game again. Boxing is a sport of the past. I've got boxing, wrestling, and karate all mixed in one. Go UFC! Great job.

    Better then last year

Graphics- Not a major improvement from last year, but the fighters definately look more detailed and crisp. The crowd looks better as well. Gameplay- This area is also a slight improvement from last year. The controls feel more responsive, the gameplay slightly more balanced, and there are a bevy of new moves and fighter to master. The only downfall here is much like last year, the online play can be laggy and the matchmaking is suspect to say the least. However, if you find a worthy opponet with a good connection there is much fun to had there as well. Sounds- The commentary is good, with much more added content from Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg. Gotta love the Rogan freak outs when a fighter gets rocked. They capture the bone crunching goodness of mma pretty well hear. They also completely revamped the soundtrack, gone are the tacky and annoying songs that repeated over and over on last years game, they have given the game its own score which I enjoy. No annoying radio friendly rock songs, or corny cliche'd rap music. Which is just the way it should be. Presentation- What more can I say then they have really captured the essence of the UFC. A significant improvement from last years, bare boned presentation. Overall- If you love the UFC and MMA then you should definately have this game. Even if your not a fan, its definately one of the better pure fighting experiences on the the 360.

Had a chance to play the demo and I loved that they have more fighting styles than the first one. Excellent game play all around. I love the fact that you can actually punish your opponent to the point the they bleed buckets of blood. The controls are easy to handle. If you have not played the first game don't worry because this game is way better. I had a lot of fun playing the game and would recommend this game to any UFC fan or even boxing fan. I feel that this is by far the best fighting game out there.

    Good...But Not Yet Great

I was extremely excited for this game being a fan of the ufc and ufc undisputed 2009. This game has alot of great additions this year with all of the new game modes and gameplay changes. They all seem to work really well with the exception of a few minor flaws, but overall a great experience. The one thing that is a major issue at this time is the online servers, though THQ has already announced an update to fix this issue and many others. With a few updates this game will achieve greatness.

This years undisputed is alot better than 2009. There are more gameplay options. The fighters are more realistic in looks and fighting styles. The career mode is more extensive. You have to work your way up just to get into the UFC. Thera are camps and other options you can join. Overall this is a great game for any real MMA fan! Thanks THQ!

UFC Undisputed 2010 has made an exponential jump from last year's game. There are so many more moves on the ground and stand-up. I love the sway system and counters. The XBL is very laggy occasionally, but I think that's because of the capacity of everyone being on it the first day. Also, it takes a long time to find matches. And have you seen Brock Lesnar and GSP on this game?! They are gods. Brock is so quick standing up and his punches are so strong. He hasn't even really hit anyone in real life standing up, so I don't know why THQ would make him like that. GSP has I think every technique possible.

This game is the best Mixed Martial Arts game to this date. It has improved dramatically since UFC 2009. While it has a ton of great new add-ons, I think the one that sticks out the most is the sway. This add-on made the stand up game 100 times better. The Career mode is sick, but I don't like the fight camps that much because it takes about 10 fight camps to learn one submission if you only tap him once. One of the worst thing about the game is the xbox live. It might just be that my connection is bad, but it takes forever to connect to a match.

First everyone should have this game. If you are a UFC fan or a fighting game fan you need to have this game. Controls- easy to understand hard to master. If you are a first time player it will be easy to get into the action with the control scheme these great developers have developed for this game. Graphics- good but not great. the graphics could be better but they still look really good and enjoyable. Its a very fun game to play with some friends. Online- online is great because of the new fight camps feature they have added. It is basically a clan or guild you create with friends and you will be able to help each other out in sparring matches and compete against or fight camps in online matches. Overall this is game is a 5/5. I would like to thank everyone at THQ who made one of the best fighting games I have ever played.

Great game that is very fun and has great replay value. (ie: career mode) Career mode is way more in depth with a lot more years to fight and the ability to assign your created fighter to a camp and also assign him his own moves. There are also new features such as submission transitions, switching stances, and a revamped striking system which lets you bob and weave to counter your opponents punches. The octagon cage now plays a role in the game as you can pin your opponent on it and dirty box, or if you attempt a take down and you are close to it, it will put your opponent up against it. The submission game and ground game are also revamped. You have to posture up now in order to more damage to your opponent. Overall the game is very fun and very good but it is a little difficult to master.
