Most amazing game for any system.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the most fun game i've ever played. Fun multiplayer, amazing graphics, easy controls for the most part, and just about anyone can play it. I can't find one thing wrong with the game besides being so addicting.

Fight Fan MUST Have
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are a fan of fighting games, this is the game to get. To anyone thinking this is an simple followup to UFC Undisputed 2009... you are very wrong. The new game has countless improvements and totally new aspects all together. With a roster of over 100 fighters to try out, the new online fight camps, and tons of new fighting moves.. you can have fun playing this game for a very long time. The tournament mode is great for when you have people over, it can get VERY competitive. My favorite part is all of the new strikes in the game. You can feel the difference in how fluent the fighters move to make a very realistic experience. The bottom line is to anyone who watches ufc, likes fighting games, or wants to try out something new, THIS IS THE GAME TO GET!

Massive Improvements from 2009
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is incredible in many ways. The gameplay is extremely fun, with tons of styles and attacks and even swaying movements that create the ultimate realistic fighting game. Each character is unique as well, making playing as your favorite UFC fighter that much better; example-Brock Lesnar punches just as he does in real life, instead of punching like every other fighter that's say, a "boxer." Also, your create a fighter and career modes are now fully customizable, even down to what kick you do when pressing which buttons in a certain combination. Bottom line - this game is a must have for all MMA fans, fight game fans, and anyone who simply loves a fun and challenging game!

UFC 2010 Great Update From UFC 2009
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off I have to say overall this game is an awesome upgrade from last years version. The variety of fighters have grown to over a 100 to choose from. The addition of the swaying system is a great upgrade as well to be able to duck and dodge punches and counter them. So far the only downfall i have with this game is the online play. I wish they had of got everything working before they released it but every game always has it's faults in the beginning of release and i'm hoping that THQ will fix this problem. The biggest problem right now is when you are able to get a online fight going the match lags bad and its hard to move around. Other then that the career mode and the additional modes are great and i hope they add more fighters to the list as downloadable characters. I'm very pleased with UFC 2010 and i hope THQ keeps up the good work on future games.

The smoothness and transitions in the game during fights are amazing, graphically supreme fighting game. Best game ive played on the 360 to date for me. Game of the year material.

Simply Awesome!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most sports games just add a couple of tweaks to their annual edition, but THQ listened to it's fans and tweaked the whole darn game for the better. Granted, for newer players, there may be a steep learning curve, but if you're a fan of the sport you won't care. This game is simply fantastic. Now, to be honest the online play is laggy. This should be fixed though pretty quickly. Do not let that deter you from getting this game though. The single player content alone is enought to justify the purchase price. Great job THQ!!!

The best MMA game just got better!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really don't know where to start with this game. Essentially every aspect of it has been improved from last year's debut. The action has been sped up significantly, so there's never a dull moment. While standing up, punches and kicks are fluid and quick. Everyone now has a puncher's chance with the new sway system. Dodge and counter-strike for even more powerful hits than normal, but be careful - swaying at the wrong time can leave you susceptible to a clinch, takedown, or even worse....a knock out. The revamped clinch system works in transitions now, so each fighter has a fair chance for an advantageous position, which could lead to strikes, slams, and octagon control. The ground game has been immensely changed as well, with the introduction of submission switching (attempting one submission, then transitioning into another), and now only rotating the right analog stick (called "shining") to apply and escape submission moves. With an array of new submissions and transitions, as well as the flash (quick) subs, the ground game can lead to a pleasant win or a surprising defeat. Yet another new feature in 2010 is cage mechanics. No longer is the cage ignored, and it becomes quite obvious once you're near it. If a takedown occurs near the cage, the takedown will be blocked by the cage itself, and a struggle animation occurs. This can be good for the fighter on defense, since he has a chance to stay standing or even reversing the takedown attempt. However, the fighter on offense will also have opportunities to follow up with a new takedown of their own. Also added are strikes while against the cage. If your opponent has his back to the cage, you can deliver devastating dirty boxing punches, vicious Muay Thai knees, and even a foot stomp! Of course, in order to be able to do all of this, you need fighters to play with! With over 100 fighters covering each of the UFC's weight classes, you'll have more than enough to play with. This year, every fighter was scanned and modeled realistically, so you get pin-point accurate representations of them in the game. In addition, fighters are no longer confined to predetermined fighting styles. Everyone will feel and play differently, and they will have their own unique moves to use. If that's not enough for you, you can create your very own fighter and head into Career Mode. The Create-A-Fighter system has undergone a complete makeover, allowing imaginations to run vividly. The photo-realistic textures of the created fighters make it hard to identify whether they are a real people or not. Change anything from the eyes, nose, hair, body type, tattoos, logo/sponsor placements and even voices to create an extremely unique fighter. Once you're done, you can start your career to advance in rankings, until you are the champion in the UFC. It won't necessarily be easy though, as you have to work your way up the ladder. You will start off in a smaller league called the World Fighting Alliance, and once you have proven yourself worthy, you will be invited into the UFC. While in the UFC, you will have the opportunity to train with a flurry of fight camps and fighters. You will acquire specific new moves to apply to your fighter, following successful training with whomever you work with. You can manage and change your moves as you progress through the career mode as well. Make sure while fighting and training, that you try to balance out your fighter, otherwise unused stats will decline (ex: If you just stand up and strike in your fights, your ground offense and defense stats will decline). While fighting, the game will keep track of your performances, and it will reflect in the commentary ,as well as future fights. So example, if you win by a decisive KO in your last fight, or win a succession of fights, Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg will make mention of it. On the flip-side, if you are one dimensional in your fights (ex: spamming head kicks to gain victories), your opponents will develop game plans to negate your fighting style. Speaking of opponents, you can develop rivalries based on who you have fought and who you'll fight in the future. At weigh-ins, you can decide whether to respect or disrespect your opponent and during stare-downs, you can choose whether to touch gloves or not. Each action will stick with you during your career and determine how people interact with you in the future. Even more mentionable features in the Career mode are aging, and being able to switch weight classes. As your career progresses (and your fighter gets older), your stats will deteriorate. Don't worry though, there are thresholds that prevent your stats from going below a certain number. This adds a realistic vibe to Career mode, since all fighters ascend, then decline throughout their careers. If you are dominating your weight class throughout your career, you will be given an opportunity to move up a weight class and face new challengers there. You can only do this once per career, so choose wisely! There are many more factors in the Career mode that I could cover, such as unlocking all new sponsorships, nicknames (The Last Emperor anyone?), introduction and post-fight winning animations, and more, but I simply can't cover it all. The point is, Career mode is awesome, and you won't be disappointed. The online factor in 2010 is superb as well. The biggest problem in last year's game has been addressed. Those who disconnect will receive a LOSS and a DNF (Did Not Finish) percentage. This will undoubtedly filter out those who don't wish to be competitive and sportsmanlike, as well as make room for fit competition. If you're like me, and have a ton of friends who play online as well, this year you can create your very own fight camps. You and your friends can train and spar with each other, then challenge other fight camps online. Now to get to my favorite part - the presentation. UFC Undisputed 2010 reflects the UFC programming in stunning fashion. While entrances are NOT in this year's game, practically everything else is. As expected, all fighters will have their specific motions and taunts during intros and winning. In-between rounds, the cut man will clean up wounds, corner men will apply ice packs, bottles of water, and give seemingly relevant advice. Refs now jump in and break fighters up once a TKO has occurred. Before the start of title fights, the referee will give his instructions, while Bruce Buffer holds the mic for him and two security personnel accompany the ring. Post-fight winning animations also can show the downed opponent getting attention from the ref. Cuts actually play a role this year, and if they become too bad, a fighter can lose via Doctor Stoppage. If a fighter is beat up enough and KO'd, he will remain on the ground getting medical attention while the winner is announced alone. Fighters will wear their real-world sponsor t-shirts. If awarded a title, the fighter will interact with Dana White and his fight camp during the scene. The presentation is simply on-point this year. If all of that isn't enough, there are many more modes to appeal to you. Title and Title Defense mode allows you to fight for and defend a championship. This is great for those who want to be able to track and make specific fighters champions in their game. Tournament mode allows you to make up to 16-man tournaments to crown a new champion as well. The Classic Fights mode has been renamed to Ultimate Fights and allows you to recreate or even rewrite history. Event Mode, which is my personal favorite, allows you to create and play out an event with UFC programming and presentation. Intros by Joe Rogan and Mike Golberg occur, hype videos play, and much more. You can choose to play in each fight or simulate them altogether. At the end of the event, you can view videos of which fights and fighters were awarded Fight of the Night, KO of the Night, and Submission of the Night. THQ has also stated that they will release events that you can download and play out on your system as well. While the majority of the game is great for me, there are just a few nagging issues I have. Spamming of some strikes is still prevalent in 2010. While it isn't even remotely as bad as it was in 2009, it still can occur. Certain positions on the ground open up exploits and unfortunately can make or break a fight. Yukes/THQ decided once again to use Gamespy's P2P (peer-to-peer) service to match up opponents online. This undoubtedly will result in you experiencing lag if your opponent doesn't have the best internet connection and/or is halfway across the world. I personally, am just a TAD disappointed that some fighters have not been updated. Brandon Vera still has his fat model from last year's game, even though he is clearly skinny now, Wanderlei Silva's face was not rescanned to reflect his new look, and Frank Mir's back tattoo is not present either, just to name a few. All-in-all, this is a MUST-PLAY for MMA fans...hell, even fighting game fans. There's so much content and replay value in this title that there's no reason anyone should grow tired of it. It's the closest thing to the UFC you can get without gearing up and entering the octagon yourself. So you wanna be a fighter? This is how....

Great Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.UFC 2010 is the game that you need to purchase if you like online play as well as offline play. This game will keep you entertain for a long time, due to the new career mode that is more realistic with decay attributes. You can create your own fight camp and invite your friends and family, so that you can train and spar against each other. This game is one of a kind, I love it and I know you will too.

Great fighting game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is really fun. I have played tons of fighting games and this one is on my top list. I wish they could of improved some stuff but they are only minor things. In this game it actually has a story unlike the previous game which is a good thing. I also like the changes to online(new camps,tournoments,etc.). Its a great game and you should look into it if you want to buy a good fighting game.

Now the octagon enter in your Game.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like a fanatic of UFC, is impressive to see a lot of moves that the fighters can realise, as well as the great similarity of the fights, because now, the octagon enter in the game. Now in the career mode, you can participate in a more direct way, giving opinions on the combats that are about to come, level up your popularity or " creed", thanks to the interviews that you do, throughout in the career, as much inside as outside in your gymnasium. You will be able for the first time to acclimate your presentation before the fight, since you can design a banner, you can offer to your character deterioration by blows in its ears or even incorporate face hair, typical of 2 to 3 days without shaving. The bad thing for me at the moment, is that becomes very repetitive and tedious the requests of interviews. Reason why finally it can be that you as a player, evade them. 5 stars from me.

Good game but has some glaring flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.UFC 2010 improved over 2009 as far as menu navigation and the dreaded save every single time one little thing is done time waster. You can not only customize the look of your fighter but also the moves that they have at their disposal as well. Same great intense hectic analog spinning madness. Now the bad part is online is just really unplayable and I've only had 2 matches out of about 20 that had green bars (good connection) and even then it was like playing under water. The one great thing I will say about the game though isn't the game itself it's the community and the forum rep that they have there is awesome and makes it seem like they will really try to fix the game.

Best fighting game yet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think that this game is a huge improvement from Undisputed 2009, but 2009 was a hit! That says a lot about this game. It is a must have. There was a lot of work done on the improvements of this game and you can tell. From the new fight stances, to all the new moves, and most of all the new game modes such as Title defense etc., makes this a great game! Must have for all fight fans!

easy to pick up and amazing gameplay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Undisputed 2010 is an awesome game. The amount of charaters available to use adds a huge amount of replay value. The game is easy to figure out and play. I didn't play Undisputed 2009 because I thought the controls would be too difficult. I could not resist buying the game after hearing about all of the characters and how easy it was to play. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
