We already owned one of these speakers and bought this one so we could have stereo sound. Even though it is not a Bose speaker, the sound is full. We have used them outdoors on our patio and they have provided enough sound (even with many people to absorb the sounds). It, being shaped like a tube, has rolled off of the table one or two times (and landed on the concrete surface) with no negative effects on the performance. The casing is just a little scratched, but the internal workings still produce great sound. The only reason that I gave it only 4 stars is that I feel it is a little on the spendy side.

I bought this for my soon to be mother in law for Christmas to replace an outdated boombox she uses at the pool. The splashproof/sandproof features are exactly what she needed. The sound quality is great and is lightweight, portable and stylish. The fact that it doesn't charge your phone was not a selling point, I'd rather have better battery life. I would recommend this to others.

Small footprint - lots of sound. I love this little boom. I have one and they set you up with an App to link additional units together. So I ordered another. It a Christmas gift, so not sure yet on the dual mode, but I expect it to sound twice as good.

Great sound from such a small speaker. Bought two and I was able to link them through the UE app super easy. You are able to remotely connect via bluetooth, turn on the speaker, use volume controls and of course change songs from the app with ever touching the speaker! Conveniently though, you also can skip songs, pause music and use your phone via "tapping" the speaker itself......

Had been waiting for them to go back as the deal of the day. I love them they sound so good turned all the way up they do not crackle or break up.

My husband wanted a loud speaker for his side by side and this was it. You can hear it over the motor. Great sound and affordable. Highly endorse

I do like this speaker and the sound is crisp. Occasionally, the speaker loses connection when I go to party mode to sync with my other two speakers. I updated the firmware when I bought it. However, its sporadic, so I am not overly concerned about it.

Picked this up to use at the pool on vacation and inside. We reviewed several different blue tooth speakers including 2 options from Bose. We wanted something that would provide great sound to hear outside with lots of background noise in the area. For the sound, size and price, you can't beat this UE Boom2 speaker. The sounds quality including base is outstanding for it's size.

Had a friend who had an older model of the UE Boom, I saw that Best Buy a flash sale on this, and quickly purchased it on line and picked up in store. I currently have a Bose system in my living room, which you can hear through the whole house, but I use the UE Boom for when I'm doing yard work. It is extremely loud, and great quality! Will be purchasing the UE Megaboom very soon!

I bought it on Black Friday special and this has been a great investment. It’s a must have definitely and it sounds better than the competition.

I love this little speaker. I bought one for my husband years ago and have wanted one as well. It’s easy to us and convenient to take on the go.

This speaker is loud and it does sound good. But I don’t know why I couldn’t control with touch control like how the product website says. I gotta use my phone to answer phone, play or pause music

I am no aidiophile, I guess I should say first, and I did not hace the need to buy wireless speakers, but decided to do anyways since I have been listening to music aloud more often. These speakers I have found to be pretty good on battery life. At first the sound was not as clear as I was expecting, compared to my old wireless speakers which I got as a gift for about one fourth the cost, but the app and a fee tweeks have improved it greatly and it is very loud. I will say it was worth the buy.
